I had had the exact same thing happen on this mobo while changing the gpu. My friend did as well. I wonder if there is a weaknesses somewhere on this board that makes the susceptible.
Very interesting vid on assembly -- I like that you didn't install it 'blind' but took your time to bench-test it -- but does no one use static straps and non-magnetic drivers anymore? Have you found this Asus board a good choice -- were you impressed with it? And do you think it will hold up for years of use? So, how did you keep the legendary Asus bloatware from taking over during setup?
Electronics aren't as susceptible to ESD as they used to be. As far as magnets the only thing in a computer these days that would be affected by a magnet is the hard drive. It would take a very powerful magnet to erase the data. If you don't install the armory crate you won't get the bloat.
Hello! I bought the b550 and did exactly what you did in the video but I only got a black screen. I bought a new spu to see if that was a problem and still the same, I tried 2 different graphics cars but still no screen, what can I do? Pls some help
I would need a lot more information to help with that. What was the reason for the replacement motherboard? Was the computer doing something it wasn't supposed to before? What are you trying to accomplish by replacing the motherboard?

I’m getting code 00 when powering up my motherboard B 550 Velocita.. experience no power from USB on mother board and tower. Also, no HDMI. I have a Radeon 6950xt and AMD 5900..
When I say no HDMI, I mean when I plug into GPU after install. Realized no power in USB and no HDMI signal to monitor. Fans fans LED and filling system seem to run fine.
Yes you can. Filling all slots on a motherboard with RAM can lead to compatibility issues with XMP. It doesn't happen all the time but it's something to be aware of.

Routed the HD audio at bottom hole on the shroud instead of going across MB
it 40 degree temperature is good for graphic card on idle
Replaced a motherboard with a new b5500 gaming and mouse and keyboard ans monitor doesn't work. Any quick fixes?

on idle both the CPU and the GPU is running at 40 Degrees 41 degreesis it again good for idle
my graphics card is running on 66 degrees under stress after replacing thermal paste is it good temperature and it's summer time in India by the way

Code 00 points to a problem with the CPU. It might be that the CPU power connection from the power supply is not connected to the motherboard.
