(New) How to select a business major? | From A Business Professor

As a business professor, some of the most common questions I was asked by my students are how to choose a business major? What is the career path of my major? Does my major need a strong mathematic skill? So in this video, I want to share with you on how to select a business major from an educator’s perspective. I will list 7 of the most common business majors at the undergraduate level in America and review the job demand, career path, course difficulty, and the pros and cons for each major that I think you should know before selecting one. Finally, I will provide some advice that I think can help you make an informed decision regarding your major. The videos were informational and I learned a lot about the differences and benefits from being an Accounting, Business, Marketing, and Management degree. Unfortunately it doesn't quite apply to me because I'm an information technology major but it definitely will help me narrow down what kind of company I'd want to go in.

Such a difficult decision right now I’m going for management, but I’m a full-time single parent and most likely I will be the only income in my household for the duration of my children’s lives so I’m not sure if a management position is going to get me the pay that I need or if I should go into MIS? I took a introduction to computer science class and even a little bit of programming talk was kind of confusing to me, so I’m not sure.
