      This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "bearded dragon not eating or pooping as often" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Benophia Unconventional Bulldozer - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to keep your bearded dragon safe minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbour got cool results with it.#Oscar

    I just got mine last weekend. She has a bone disease and needs extra care for calcium and such. She’s pretty active but doesn’t eat much right now and glass surfs a lot. So I’ve been having anxiety wondering if I was doing something wrong but noticed yesterday her face was starting to shed. And after researching I know now this is natural. I’m giving her a bath once I finish my work week.

      Well I agree she kept saying not to do it but then broke out the god damn tweezers like shit and at the end she was peeling that shit right off of it isn't able to be gently rubbed off and I mean exactly that like as I u were running ur finger down him or her petting or giving a lil massage that is it and u really shud do it in the bath only and even the nose which I know my little guy has a hard time with his nose holes too but all I do is use my thumb and rub his snout like I do every single day anyway an he usually pushes back if itchy and it will come off if it doesn't come off that easily it will scare him and u think yea right that isn't happening but I won't see it at first! By doing that u are actually stunting his color mother nature has a sure fire way of doing shit there is a reason that layer stays there until it just doesn't that is Bec it's using the fluid or whatever u want to call it to heal the new skin and when it's ready to come off it is not going to be hard u can run it fingers on ur baby like u always do I spray him down everytime I go in and see him dry while he is basking I am seriously saying this with no malice this is coming only from a place of love for the animal and the simple fact that I only know cuz I did it and it only took me one time to notice a duller spot where I had done a peel just like that and SERIOUSLY the skin was totally off but not off ya know and I started to see his color underneath looking drab!! It's not worth it trust me the way it happens in the wild is best let ur baby bask and spray multiple times throughout the day

    • @HaruDoneYet
      @HaruDoneYet 3 роки тому

      Normally you want to help by giving a good soak and providing plenty of stuff to scratch on. Many keepers agree that the only time the shed should be removed by hand is if it is actual stuck shed (meaning it isn't coming off normally) or in rare cases if it will cause some problems. An example of this is if an eyelid shed detaches wrong and ends up flopping around and getting in your dragons eye, you don't want the shed itself to damage the eye and the dragon could easily hurt itself trying to get it out too.
      There are times when handling that shed might just come off due to the smallest touch though and thats normally ok
