Good accessories!! We have most of them. As for the water filter we have the Blu Technologies 3 stage water filter with the IR tech. I could throw a hose in a river, LOL !!
We use a good quality adjustable water pressure regulator and made our own two stage water filter using whole house filters. The first stage is a sediment filter and the second stage is a taste and chemical filter. Works great and is very easy to replace filters. We had issues with the inline filters clogging after only a few hours use at some campgrounds in PA. The larger whole house filters don't clog up on multi week long trips.
We have used a sewer hose extention many times plus extra drinking water hoses. A expensive item we have used several times is a 50 amp extention cord. We had 42’ motorhome and visited Walt Disney World. We backed in and the power pole was at the front 40’ away and our standard cord is 25’. We’ve also been 100’ from a water connection so extra drinking hoses are required for us.
MJ & Izzy are learning from us veteran Rv ers LOL. We also carry one 45 water connection, added a 90 degree power cord dog-bone. Also have a heap light duty dollar store ratchet strap and a smart bungee system. I always learn from your videos. Thank you.
I have used all the stuff you mentioned and we used to camp with my in laws a lot and I over heard my father in law tell my MIL once that if they forgot anything not to worry that I would have one, yes I put my poor truck through a lot of stress pulling my first trailer. I always told people I had more stuff then the rv parts store
I have used everything you mentioned. Had great advice from bro in law, an Rv veteran, and each item has made my experiences better and saved me many times. Great video!
Hi Izzy and MJ! Those all great accessories. I would get them all. But mostly the surge protector and the water filtration system. Great video Izzy and MJ! I hope you all have a great and Happy Easter!🐰🐣🐇 See you soon! Stay safe and safe travels.
First started using the low cost pressure regulator, but found it was too restrictive at some parks. Then we got one similar to you and that help a lot in maintaining pressure in the RV. Going to add the outside hideaway key even though we have the RV lock like you. The handle is key only and if set it no one can tell until after door closes and you try to get back in. This is how I locked out my wife. The rule now is only use the key pad to lock, but you never know or if the battery quits. CYA
We installed an Acuva filter, but we do use the Campco one outside as well. We also have put RV locks on all three of our RVs, but it just isn't fitting right in the motorhome and catches, no matter how many times we adjust it. We always have to carry a key, may even put the old block back on.
We use all of them. We also have a 30AMP Surge Protector in addition to our 50AMP Surge Protector that plug into the RV park outlet. This way we have protection before electric hits our 50AMP line.
Good info; some is kind of obvious (e.g. spare key). Could trim a bit. "Save your marriage" might be just a touch of hyperbole. How many divorces are really due to RV plumbing issues? Content starts 1:20. I would add more (some a bit expensive) items, some for when it's parked at home: - Spare fuses! - Small box heater set to around 50F, runs on shore power. Help avoid freezing (until the GFCI pops, or power goes out (use RV antifreeze!)) - Small dehumidifier (avoid mildew) - RV cover - 80 PSI capable auto air compressor - Pressure gauge - RV antifreeze (home) - Copy of the appliances manuals - Spare toilet flush valve? - Multimeter - Wire, crimp connectors, good crimper to fit, strippers, pliers, etc.
Use all 7 of these. Also use quick connects for water hose. RVers should have a portable EMS with surge protection to plug into the campsite pedestal to make sure the voltage is OK. Of course SnapPads and next week I will check out the Cheetah cell router from Chester.
If you have an endless hot water heater, you can't use one of the cheap pressure regulators. These require 50-60 pounds of water pressure to work correctly. We used to use the cheap one, but when we got our new RV, we had to get the adjustable one like you have, because of the water heater. Great list guys. Thank you!!
We decided to stay an extra day in Williams at the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park as that "dusting of snow" turned into about 6". Something I never thought to ask about a RV park is how good is their snow removal plan. Headed to ABQ tomorrow.@@EndlessRVing
Actually I use all. For the radios since I travel alone if my 360 backup camera doesn’t do the job I will ask someone to help. Usually the campground manager will be available. Happy 🐣 Easter
Thanks for the great suggestions. We have a 30 amp class B but have actually had to use our 30 to 50 amp dogbone one time so far. A few of other things we always carry with us is a spare water pump, a GFCI replacement and a little box of a variety of fuses...all things easy to fix while on the road. Still subscribed after fixing it once. :) God bless you both.
Some very good and important information! Anyone who camps should have all of these items and probably 2 of most of them. Have you looked in to the 3 stage water filtration systems? Ones like Blu? I've been seeing more and more people saying they work well and better than the inline filters. I guess it also depends on if you drink the water or not... I did install one at our off-grid cabin and it did greatly help with odors and minerals. Thanks again for the great video!
Spare key, yes. We were at Love's getting the propane filled. We all got out and yes we locked ourselves out. It was November in Montana. The manager knew of a locksmith and he was out in a half hour. Imagine if it was at a rest stop, not good. We now have a spare on the coach in a magnetic key box.
When you use the 30/50 amp adapter do you have to change to a 30 amp surge protector? Our rig is 50 amp. We thought changing to the 30 amp would save us money.
Maybe another RV Accessory would be a surge protector. I own a Tiffin Motorhome 50 amp. What surge protector should I get ? Do you have any recommendations? And if I am on a 30 amp site should I get a second surge protector for 30 amp ? What should I do ? Thank you so much for all your always interesting videos ! You are the best !!!
Hey Izzy which braking system do you use while flat towing your Mustang? I’m reading that it is mandatory in 49 states and Canada to have one. Confused in Louisiana!

Quick connects for water hoses
Love the American flag hat.
Ratchet and bungee straps. Have been a life saver for me at some points in my travels. 👍 video
Good accessories!! We have most of them. As for the water filter we have the Blu Technologies 3 stage water filter with the IR tech. I could throw a hose in a river, LOL !!
Nice
Use all of these… just need to change out the water filter a bit more often!

We have all of these, but we do need to get the larger zip ties. Thanks for an informative video

Great items. Your right on all of them, and they won't break the bank. We Appreciate you two. Thank you & safe travels.
Thank you! You too!
On brass water extensions, 45 deg works fine too. Make sure the brass is lead free. Certified.

Great reminders.,We have and use/have used all. Zip ties when basement cabinet door lock fails. Worked for 3000 miles.
Hey, we use all of them
Awesome!
Have everyone of those plus more. LOL worth the money to have those to save more expensive issues later.
Agree Aaron
Been RVkng since 1980, use every one of these
I have used everything you mentioned. Had great advice from bro in law, an Rv veteran, and each item has made my experiences better and saved me many times. Great video!

Happy Easter!
Great video. I use everything except I installed a in house water filter in my fifth wheel with a charcoal filter.
I have basically used all except the brass angled hose connections. I have found zip-ties, duct tape, & electrical tape an always have on board!!
Yes!

Not the Truma. We have hot water with no hookups just using our pump.
Great video. Camping in the cold happens. We are in Williams AZ tonight and we have a freeze and snow warning.
Stay warm

Glad you like them!

Great video !! 👌👌👌👌
Thank you 👍
Stainless steel ug screens for gas exhaust. WiFi signal enhancer.
Yep use those items or something similar. I have water filter mounter in the utility bay.
Thanks for sharing
7 for 7 😊
👍
We have been accused of cheating when we use the walkie talkies to back in! So easy!
Spare keys best idea we lost our only set to our camper not a problem anymore we have 4sets of keys with us at all times now.
I have a “Y” connector that lets you plug into two 30 amp outlets and it makes one 50 amp NEMA 14-50 outlet for your 50 amp coach to plug into.
Thanks for sharing

Using the same one since 2019 and it’s still going

Thanks for the info..good job. So you guys look like you might know campgrounds on the water (lake or ocean) in NJ and PA
Nothing on the ocean
What do you do with your water filter when not camping
Store it with hose
Even in hot temperatures? Won’t bacteria grow?

Put the regulator in your bay instead you won’t lose it that’s what I did

Do you really tell people to use that camco junk? Maby suggest spending a little more and getting a good product.
It’s does the job it’s suppose to do. You can spend a lot more but many people don’t want to spend more.
