Hi - We filmed this at the end of November, so I am not sure of the weather now ...... we are just back in the UK, Chris is editing and producing the last of the videos from our trip and then we are getting ready to fly on the 29th Jan to Costa Rica (backpacking) the videos in Central America should be almost live 😉🤗💃😍👍kind regards Marianne and Chris 👍
Sunny (mostly) with lows of 10°C at night & highs around 18/20°C daytime. If it rains, it pours, but usually for only a short while. (refreshes the air & cleans the cars!)
Those "lovely green parrots" are, in fact, a very damaging invasive species and almost impossible to erradicate. (They breed faster than proverbial rabbits!) We're having the same problem here in Torremolinos.
Oh - I wonder what caused them to invade ? We have Parakeets in the south of the UK too - I did not realise they were damaging anything ... thank you for the information - kind regards Marianne 👍😀
+TREAD the globe Quite a few years ago it was the latest 'fad' to have exotic pets, and the laws weren't strict about imports - mostly because no one knew what was going to happen. lt wasn't just birds though; all kinds of non-native critters, even certain types of fish and trees. They know better now but it's an uphill battle.
