Being a missionary is a great responsibility! The missionary must have great energy, fortitude and courage. Wherever the missionary goes, in whatever part of the world he is in, he must spread the Word. The local people must understand what the missionary is saying to them. The missionary must get the Word right to the people! Therefore, every missionary must know the language of the local people! To everyone who is going on a mission or preparing for one I would like to recommend a very good workshop by Yuriy Ivantsiv Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language. This excellent book will give you answers how to correctly learn a foreign language with a minimum of your time and effort. This book answers many of the questions that everyone faces when learning a language. Good luck with your important work!

As usually the problem is the absolute lack of cooperation between the Orthodox Churches.
In Hong Kong there is already a very active mission under metropolitan Constantine of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, but even before the Ukrainian crisis the two missions acted not only by ignoring each other, but even competitively.

That is still incredibly frustrating over a silly political schism these are grown men they should talk it out. Especially when it comes to having missions together we are of one body I agree with your brother it is an infuriating thing.

I am afraid that the situation we are facing today with Orthodox Churches either fighting or ignoring each other only indicates, in hindsight, that the Pope was right after all. If nationalism is not a heresy then I do not know it is.

@@gerassimos.fourlanos Glory to be to God we do see a Pan orthodox seed in America. Even in the OCA you look at its title it's the orthodox church in America it's not the American orthodox church but Orthodox church in America.

Ambrose is not a Russian name but a Roman name
Rome and Greek Orthodox churches share a great history

Hong Kong allows freedom of religious practice.

I don't love the CCP but I think we hear a lot of propaganda about their government's attitude toward religion that is totally false.
I've heard people say they've forced Christians to edit their Bible and replace the word "God" with the word "state". This is just totally false. Don't believe everything you hear.
China is very diverse in religion.
