That last play was absolutely cracked. The whole time, Leo was doing Downthrow uptilt/upair. Then he pulled downthrow into uptilt *gryo* and covered the landing. BUILT DIFFERENT
Not just that, after that he faked a jump to make fastfalling to stage look safe, but then fastfell himself after just a shorthop to get the downsmash in first and win the set.
I love Leo, but hard to find anything anyone does with Rob impressing. Leo is best in the world, but truth is, he got outplayed by Dom throughout--but hard to win not matter who you are if you need to win 5+ neutral exchanges for every 1 your opponent wins. Leo's play with Marth and Byleth is way more polished and impressive to watch
Gahhh i'm just so proud of every successful and thoughtful play DOM had. He inspired me to be a richter main a couple years ago and i can imagine how tough it is to play against LEO of all ppl. just so happy to see him still pull off dope shit (1:24, 5:44, 12:34, 15:01, 15:40, 20:12, 23:00‼) despite the strength of his opponent :'D
Despite all of DOM's amazingness, he has this strange habit of edge guard with neutral B while JUMPING if the enemy is recovering low... it has literally no chance of hitting, I don't get it.
It allows him to be able to act at the moment the axe is at stage level. If he doesn't jump the axe will already be below stage level when he's able to move because of lag so he can't set up any other projectile edgeguard nor react to his opponent's movements. It's actually a super clever way to cover timing mix ups of recoveries like rob's.
I have a feeling you do not refer to the one and only God that way but you feel it is okay to refer to a Smash Ultimate player that way simply because he is brilliant in playing Smash. That the Lord is a merciful God does not give you or anyone else the right to use His name in vain.

You can clearly see how slow richter is and how it’s impossible for him to land. Why do the creators do this? They don’t know how to make a game more balanced with characters? Smh.. this is exactly why competitive smash died and isn’t what it used to be. I’ll stick with Tekken or street fighter. Those games are much more balanced. And don’t tell me smash is balanced as good as Tekken or street fighter because it isn’t. The moment I look at pikachu and little Mac, I already understand how terrible the game is when it comes to characters being balanced.
