Ignaize's parries were on point, goodness gracious. Dom played neutral and advantage very well, I think. But Ignaize didn't panic in disadvantage at all and played it patiently, props to them. Very peculiar matchup.
Crazy how much damage Dom gets off F-tilt. Ignaize got hit by like 20 F-tilts in the first 4 games. He only got hit by 1 game 5 and started spacing around it immaculately. Made a huge difference
Yeah you don't see it often, only purpose is to stall as it shares the same distance as Up B. For some reason if the opponent is standing right on the ledge and belmont tries to up air tether, the whip will prioritize hitting the opponent instead of tethering. Where as forward air and back air tethers always prioritize ledge.
Congrats to Ignaize for winning despite the poor MU for Marth. Very few of his kills came from meaningful tippers however. I don't know why he chooses Marth over Lucina for this MU when it would have served him much better to do so.

Very much incorrect, it's actually a fairly disadvantageous MU for marth and lucina. Check the MU charts for other top marcina players (Mr. E has a MU chart) and you'll see otherwise.

it is. marth still wins neutral. all him being floaty means is that he can't immediately destroy richter like chroy could, he's gotta pick his spots well. you don't need to hit tippers if the end goal is to gimp him, its not even hard to space tippers because richter's slow ass speed makes positioning pretty simple. fair/bairs the only move that outranges him but you close the gap too fast for him to keep you at bay with that alone. ledge is bad yes. thats probably the only reason marcina doesn't straight up win LOL the reason why most characters can do it to belmonts is because the belmonts are ASS. gimping someone is still fucking important dude, and even among other characters marth is still extremely good at it. spare me the wifi opinions
