Hey man this might be a bit random, but I have been watching your videos here and there, and since I am going to my 2nd year (penultimate) year of my degree next year at Monash, I was wondering how did you go about networking or looking for internships in your penultimate or final year, how did you prepare for them what tools are there etc. If you have a video on it could you link it, or else if you wouldn't mind answering then I'd be happy! I just want to know how do I network through linkedin and how do I prepare for consulting/finance interviews.
Thanks for the great content, love seeing how it is working in these industries in Australia since most videos on youtube are about working over at the states ahaha.

@@nc.n952 thanks for watching the videos ☺️
In terms of exploring internships, few ways to go about it:
      - Apply directly on the sites (approach with most competition)
      - Participate in clubs that have activities sponsored by the firms you want to intern for (consulting, finance, commerce clubs). This is usually the most effective way to get access to recruiters/HR/people working in the firms
      - network directly with people in the firm via introduction, LinkedIn, and other events. This approach takes much more effort and is usually with firms that have smaller hiring intake.
Think the above is an initial view on how to approach it, which requires some effort for the entire process to ensure you’re doing the right things. Find friends who are exploring the same thing/field and explore the process together ☺️
