- Forestella is indeed a remarkable South Korean crossover male vocal quartet. They were formed through the JTBC singing competition Phantom Singer 2, which aired in 2017¹²³. They won first place on the show and officially debuted on March 14, 2018, with the album Evolution. Since their debut, they have released another two studio albums and gained public recognition for their performances on Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, festivals, and other televised concerts.
The quartet was formed through the second season of the singing competition Phantom Singer. The members, Cho Mingyu, Ko Woo-rim, Bae Doo-hoon, and Kang Hyung-ho each separately auditioned for the competition¹. During the competition, Cho Mingyu selected Ko Woo-rim for the 2nd round competition and trained him. Then, he selected Bae Doo-hoon for the 3rd round competition to add variety to the team color. In the final competition, Kang Hyung-Ho joined the team. Cho Mingyu and Ko Woo-rim are the only classically-trained singers of the quartet and are alumni of Seoul National University's famed College of Music. Cho had been planning to continue with graduate studies in Germany and was a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Opera for several years¹. Ko was then a third-year undergraduate voice major who had been a finalist and semi-finalist in several vocal competitions. Bae Doo-hoon is a musical actor who had studied acting at the Korea National University of Arts and occasionally sang for Aux, a gugak-rock fusion band. He previously appeared in Hidden Singer and The Voice of Korea prior to auditioning for Phantom Singer. Kang Hyung-ho is the only member without any formal training in either music or the performing arts, although he was the vocalist of an amateur rock band he and some friends had formed as college students. He was a chemical engineer and researcher at Lotte and took a temporary leave of absence to audition, eventually resigning after Forestella debuted. While on Phantom Singer 2, the members already differentiated themselves from other contestants for their willingness to experiment with other genres and for their "adventurous" song selections, a reputation which persists to this day. They have also embarked on a nationwide tour starting in December⁸ and have been featured in numerous performances, including their rendition of 'Bad Romance' by Lady Gaga on the show Immortal Songs 2. Forestella's music continues to captivate global audiences with their unique blend of classical standards, pop covers, and reworkings of traditional Korean music. Their story serves as a testament to the power of passion, dedication, and teamwork in the pursuit of musical excellence.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by Freddie Mercury for the band's 1975 album "A Night at the Opera". The song is a six-minute suite, consisting of several sections without a chorus: an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part, and a reflective coda.
Mercury referred to "Bohemian Rhapsody" as a "mock opera" that resulted from the combination of three songs he had written². It was recorded by Queen and co-producer Roy Thomas Baker at five studios between August and September 1975. The song parodies elements of opera with bombastic choruses, sarcastic recitative, and distorted Italian operatic phrases. Lyrical references include Scaramouche, Galileo Galilei, Figaro, and Beelzebub, with cries of "Bismillah".
"Bohemian Rhapsody" topped the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks (plus another five weeks following Mercury's death in 1991) and remains the UK's third best-selling single of all time. It also topped the charts in countries including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and sold over six million copies worldwide. The song is often regarded as the band's magnum opus². The promotional video is credited with furthering the development of the music video medium². In 2004, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame². Following the release of the 2018 biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody", it became the most-streamed song from the 20th century.

Forestella is a very talented band Claudio. They do also some Simon and Garfunkel songs, sound of silence and Scarborough Fair. Also time in a bottle from Jim Croce. Someone mentioned using the blur screen and that's a good idea for this group since they are so visible.
If you like Bohemian Rhapsody there are a few other really good versions that I know of. One is by a group called The classic Rock show that you can check out. Everyone has their own taste as to which they prefer but I think they're both good. Always looking forward to your next video! Peace and love.
