We've noted the feedback to do the reviews with experience riders. However, generally, we'll still accept newbies as it is quite difficult to get riders to come forward to share their rides with us. Also, we wouldn't want to let them feel discouraged just because they're newbies. But nevertheless, we have accepted the feedback and will get more experienced riders in future.
Chill on the hate for getting an interview with a less experienced rider who’s more than willing to share his passion and love for his ride. If you’re looking for straight facts and specs, there are tons of other places to look. Their format of letting the interviewee share their personal experiences and motivations for getting their ride is just as enjoyable and could help others get inspired to get into the riding scene. Could there be improvements to their format and content? Definitely. But as it is, such videos and sharings even from new riders is great and gives a fresh perspective / invigorates the passion we once had about our rides. Cheers guys.
Honestly there's no problems at all with getting a new rider for reviews. The problem comes when they are not knowledgeable and that misinformation might mislead other inexperienced prospective buyers. You as the hosts of the show should do your due diligence and research the bike thoroughly so as not to spread misinformation and "fake news".
Slipper clutch means that you can drop a gear even when at high rpm and the clutch will help you rev match so you dont feel the jerk of the engine break. No? :/
Like Henry said, slipper clutch will prevent rear lock up when you down shift >2 gears down quickly. Most bikes will not lock if shift down one gear. Otherwise, we have to rev match to down shift >2 gears quickly.
I understand that the rider is new but since the 2 of you are more experienced riders, it would benefit both the viewers and the new rider if you both guide him whenever he starts talking nonsense (slipper clutch = soft???). Nonetheless, an entertaining video.
New rider with their new bikes normally will say all good things about the bike. They haven't ride enough to experience problem of that particular bike, and also mainly they haven't ridden many kinds of bike to compare like power, torque and basic knowledge on bikes etc. i understand the difficultly in finding riders to come out and share. Maybe could have waited later for this bike review, don't rush to do review for new bikes. Most of the review will just be all pros and cons would be neglected. Just a feedback! Cheers! :)
Noted Rasyad. We didn't want to reject as it is difficult to get riders to come forward to share their rides with us. Also, by rejecting, it would discourage them.
@@tambakoverlanders Ideally both? So two unique perspective and if done at the same session would be an interesting and informative conversation. Keep the videos coming bro!
You want to say CB190 got no power, but the CB190 you rode is a school bike that is heavily abused with many wear and tear. I disagree when you say that CB190 has no power. Just because it has less pick up and lower top speed (127KM/H ecu cut off), it does not mean that the bike has no power.
To add on, I heard the school shifts the cut off even earlier to prevent the rider from whacking the throttle. But I think this rider will look back in years to come and realise how much of a "show-off" he is. To be fair, we were all there once hahaha
Nahhhh gotta disagree with you. I owned that shit of a bike for 2 years and it gave me nothing but problems and accidents There is no power on that bike - going upwards to 100 already u feel like the bike gonna seize (and it did for me) My 190R seized on CTE-SLE 7 June 2019 and it gave me a fractured wrist and cuts. I thought my experience was suay but i asked around and most riders gave me the same negative feedback. So i have to agree with the dude. It's a shit of a bike.
And be nice la haha we all been there before with our brand new bikes when we first started out. I guess he was excited enough. Cannot judge others unless we ourselves perfect you know

this guy too noob . talk nonsense. slipper clutch is smooth ? -_- . its to prevent wheellock when u down gear at high speed. 500km for 10l ? also another bs. probably 400km at best.
A slipper clutch is a specialized clutch with an integrated freewheel mechanism, developed for performance-oriented motorcycles to mitigate the effects of engine braking when riders decelerate.
By the way. Driving center bikes are so well used and abused. Thus not surprised about tyhe shitty feel. Plus they are usually restricted in some way or another to be newbie friendly.

No it will not help you rev match. As the name suggests, the clutch is designed to slip so the rear will not lock up when you down shift.
