I think it’s hilarious how we talk to Dom about age like we aren’t as old or older than him. He’s in my age range but he’s like 3-4 years older than me so imma keep calling him Grandpa 🤭🤣
This is what im saying Dom is probably one of the few who played or as insight on behind the scenes since season 2, we dont get this type of content often Double/Meteos/Sneaky do it but its not as entertaining to me to watch them talk about league.
I’ve only ever seen Dom this passionate and emotional when he talks about the olden days. It’s actually wholesome af forreal that he still gets excited for somethings that happened when I was in the fcking womb 😊😊😊

This is like a flashback in your head when your grandpa tells of the good ol days when him and his buds had the time of their lives and then one day some Korean guy named Piglet came in and ruined everything for your ol pappy
Your editor was 100% right. My favorite Dom moments are when you make the comments like "And that was the worst moment of my life" or "What am I supposed to do when Piglet ints like that"
i remember that one and i think his mental exploded into nirvana after that. but my favorite dom moment was when dig lost to clg and he was so pissed that he broke his headphones while valley girling the sentence i don't give a fck.
Thanks for doing this, Dom. Team Curse was so special to me. Voyboy was the first pro I ever followed, and he's the reason I became your fan as well. His mind and mechanics were top notch, and he's probably the most kindhearted pro I've ever seen. It feels so validating to hear you shill for The Kid. He's my goat too. This series honestly lives rent-free in my head. I never watched it in full. I fell asleep after Voy had 4 kills on Zed in G3 thinking it was a wrap. I woke up to my friends telling sorry about Curse losing. I refused to watch this series again until today. I guess having you talk over it and share your experience helped soften the trauma lmao. It's pretty painful to hear how much the org and the rest of the team did Voy so dirty the entire time. From not respecting his mind for the game, to blaming him for an Akali pick that wasn't even the worst pick of that draft, to making him out to be unfairly compensated. It's no wonder he decided to retire, which will always be a shame because Voy was still insanely good for YEARS even after retiring. Might seem a bit overdramatic of a comment to write, but this really brought back a lot of good and bad memories for me. I was genuinely emotionally invested in Curse, so reliving my worst moment as a fan has been both a hit of nostalgia and trauma. But it also brings the whole thing some closure in a way. Thanks for the ride. Looking forward to the next one.
AND THEN WHEN LIQUID FINALLY FINISHED THIRD THAT WAS THE YEAR THEY CHANGED WORLDS QUALIFICATION AND LIQUID LOST TO FUCKING HAI JUNGLE IN GAUNTLET. BEING A LIQUID FAN WAS PURE FUCKING PAIN.
Makes me feel really bad for Voyboy. Dude was way ahead of his time in terms of game sense and knowledge. And clueless players and team owners disrespect him and bully him. Then blame him for their own mistakes.

That talk about salaries and who wants to play with whom next year literally an hour after series ended sounds uncomfortable af lol, what was Steve thinking.
I know people generally like Steve but that guy is a pure snake. There's just something about him that screams "I'd sell my children if I could get a big name player with the proceeds."
“What was Steve thinking” - I want to get rid of Voyboy, that’s what he was thinking. It’s obvious from the moment they lost game 5 and the first thing they asked was “why did you lock Akali?”. The whole, do you still want to play with x thing was another ploy targeted at him. The salary question was the final nail in the coffin. They wanted him out, and still won fuck all until they got DL.
Really interesting hearing insight on team dynamics as someone who was a big Curse/TL fan back in the day. Steve/Markz doing their own ratings to determine the best player is wild lol.

I really appreciate that you told us Saint came in and ran your draft telling you to just lock Elise every time. Just validates my opinion that he is the worst pro jungler in league of legends history
Probably nostalgia and the fact that we had hope back then that we would beat an eastern team and clench world finals. Now we know there's no hope after years of watching lck and lpl.
Best league is behind us. Game is faster now, but less interesting and less strategic because most fights end in 3 seconds and most games are decided by who drafted the most OP champion.
@@adamlewis8131Western teams could actually compete that was why, unless it was against like the No.1 LCK team. Teams like C9 were massively respected by Eastern teams and were considered insanely good. Now the gap has ballooned because of terrible management by Riot but also by Western teams, who not only crippled their lower leagues but also failed to keep people interested by not fixing any of the problems western players were facing (for example how is it like 13-14 years since LoL was created and the servers in NA are still terrible). Plus coaching in the west is terrible with most coaches going with the “If LCK is playing it that means it’s OP so we should play it” instead of actually trying something different. Enjoy the -tism rant 🤣
complexity was always my fav team cuz bubbadub was rocking that stach and the team always looked like they where having fun. they also just randomly won vs teams they def shouldnt have which always was hype af. there win vs c9 was legendary lmfao
On the mechans comment at the beginning, there also wasnt practice tool. Things like yasuo keyblade you had to practice in a real game once every 5 min, if you knew it existed.
You probably wont see this but my 2 favourite teams were dignitas and Team vulcan. Could you do a review on one of those teams? Maybe dig because you were part of them or that 1 split where Mancloud went ballistic with kills.
AYOOO 10 years, WTF I remember that so well. I wanted you guys to win since I did not want LMQ to go to worlds. Its because I had the mind set that they were coming to NA to get a free world spot since it would be harder to do that in LPL. I didn't want to to be right so badly. I also remember that no one wanted LMQ to win as well. I'm not certain about this but pretty sure most of NA viewers did not like LMQ.
DAmn am i a boomer bc its wild to me that people dont know about lmq. Its surprising that people never heard of lmq. Those that dont know LMQ prolly dont know TiP or Gravity.
Nah of course not, most people playing/watching the game now were like 4-8 back then 🤣 TiP with Impact and Rush was mad man, when Impact was on his solo carry every game craziness 🤣

Hell yeah, Dom suffering for 2 hours is peak content.
I really appreciate that you told us Saint came in and ran your draft telling you to just lock Elise every time. Just validates my opinion that he is the worst pro jungler in league of legends history
Really enjoyed the Story Time!
Xpecial’s Braum ults in game 1 were tough to watch. Realizing that this was Voy’s last pro games after that Yasuo game 1 is absurd
Looking back now, Lulu was so fucking useless top. I also remember having the idea it was giga OP
Lulu top was good into Ryze who was also a priority pick back then. It was also good into melee champs like Renekton.
This is the most fire content ever lol
nice of u to show us ur semi-pro experience
The good old days. Maybe I’m just getting old but it really feels like the best of American League is behind us.
The players are mechanically better but the scene has changed for sure.
the new generation is bad also, gotta be a while before we get better ones
As a player who started playing in maybe 2018 seeing a lulu v twitch top with a ryze vs corki bot is wild
Love how Dom present us how old he is
more videos about old league in any way shape or form this is the best type of content
complexity was always my fav team cuz bubbadub was rocking that stach and the team always looked like they where having fun. they also just randomly won vs teams they def shouldnt have which always was hype af. there win vs c9 was legendary lmfao
Wait, but voyboy's just airblading in season 4 what? 😂
LMQ was SO hated. Everyone was mad at the audacity of a Chinese team coming over to compete in NA. Weird times
Man I loved TiP with Rush and Impact, and Saint coming back to play on Gravity was huge, the beginning of Hauntzer too.
good times thoroughly enjoyed this
8:16 My man, Dom, has gone soft. Not calling out what Vasilli got up to later in his life
“What is my Lulu doing?” times 8
man watching cop flash forward in fights feels crazy, i remember that dude just being an absolute coward lmfao
I miss those days where i just get home from school , watch lcs and play league afterwards
53:18 no one’s gonna talk about how Dom was sitting on his chair lol
Whats this nami ult at 32:20 ?????
🤣🤏 Great content! Not even 20 secs in and I pressed LIKE. That editor kills it! 😂🎉
