I loved Last of the Summer Wine. In Oklahoma they have taken the show off of OETA Channel 13. Please contact OETA and get Channel 13 to put the show back on. OETA is wrong, we loved this show and it makes us very happy to watch it. Thank you and God Bless You.
This video featured two of my loves in life,my Christian faith and Last of The Summer Wine. In my opinion being a Last Of The Summer Wine fan and being a Christian go hand in hand. The show had good clean humour and some of it's cast eg Dame Thora Hurd and Kathy Staff were Christians and never appeared in anything that wasn't family entertainment. I live in Northern Ireland and some Evangelical "Christians?" over here would say that Christians shouldn't even own a TV never mind watch it on a Sunday when Last Of The Summer Wine was originally broadcast. Surely God wants us to laugh and enjoy the life he has given us. It has always struck me how Christians I have met whilst on holidays in England live their lives to the full without a " A Christian can't do this and a Christian can't do that" attitude to life. Also may I say congratulations and God bless to everyone involved with Songs Of Praise in this it's 60th anniversary year. Heres to the next 60 years.
