I haven't taken a warm shower in months by choice at home. Taking cold showers has been one of the best things have done for myself. It really wakes you up and I feel keeps your immune system strong. Its almost the same feeling afterward of running or working out hard, just by taking a cold shower.
For people complaining about how expensive this setup is, a little reminder that it appears he is living/working in California, where one or two months of rent probably already cost more than a majority of his gear.
That's so true, people easily forget that this guy isn't paying rent so the extra gear is easier to acquire than if you had to worry about the cost of an apt with all the utility bills
Nice set-up. Doing the build yourself makes it easier on you because you know what everything is for, where everything is located and how to fix things when something isn't working.
Went down a rabbit hole shopping for a Jeep and stumbled upon this. Always SO amazed how people can outfit these into a sustainable living space. This looks awesome, props!
Your the second person I’ve seen retro-fit their Jeep as a year round Mobil home. Out of all the vehicles to choose from as far as turning into a Mobil home, the Jeep is probably the most difficult but also one of the best in my opinion. You really can’t beat the compact size and the off-road capabilities of a good Jeep. Your set up is very similar to the other person I was talking about except he doesn’t have a bed or any sleeping quarters inside the Jeep itself. He solely uses a roof tent. I think when it comes to living out of a Jeep you absolutely must have a roof tent. I just don’t seen any other way around it especially when it comes to comfort. It’s pretty amazing that you were able to squeeze a bed inside the cabin of your vehicle considering how tall you are. Overall I’m extremely impressed with your build and you definitely have everything you need. Great video and I look forward to seeing the next one! Cheers!

Very interesting setup, my compliments to your creativity. We travel with an ARB fridge, powered during movement via DC from the vehicle and when parked AC from a lithium power bank with attached solar panels. On a full charge, the power bank will run our ARB (I think we have the 50qt) for about 24hrs. During movement, we charge the power bank from an AC port in our jeep. One thing on your fridge and I'm saying this because it was hard to tell from the video; you have to keep the side fan ports clear so we're very careful when we stack gear around it. Don't want it over heating. While we saw the propane for your heater, it wasn't clear if you use the small bottles for your stove as well. If you have space, you can get a small 5lb cylinder or an 8lb slimmer but tall cylinder (I saw those in an off road magazine) and then a long connector hose. Will save you money in the end not having to buy those small cylinders. Agree with you on water, but we always use a popular and expensive water filter. I am curious about everything you have. We found that after a week on the road we had over packed. When we had a chance we ditched half of the kitchen stuff and half of the stuff like shoes, boots, etc., that we thought we needed but didn't. Now, we are not full time as you, so our clothing load is adjusted by climate but we found on a recent three month trip from FL to AK and back that we basically stuck to four sets of clothing each. Did you upgrade the jeep's suspension when you added the roof rack, tent,, etc? Travel safe
