Just bought this for my bed honestly agree with everything you said. Worth the 100 bucks and very easy to apply just takes some elbow grease. Got a military discount so paid 90 bucks. My bed was scratched very similar to yours. And it looks a lot better now and for light hauls it does the trick.

I used it on a toolbox. I used the brush to nock down the chunks. Personally I like the brush look of it. It seemed to take about 3 days before it really finished drying. I'm happy with the results.
think i can use this with the undercarriage of my car?
yes you can, but if the other carriage already has minor rust I would say sand it down and put a metal primer on it and then use bed liner.

I would highly recommend and electric sander, you can knock about an hour off. If you have one of course.

i suggest liner xtreeme look them up there product has a kevlar n rubber crumbs in fine and heavy texture made with epoxy poly blend standard very high solids not thin like you see there i regretted the store stuff but any how they to have pure epoxy industrial duty etc available oh color poly uv version to
I need a recommendation for my cargo van bed? I need something thin that's durable & provides a little bit of sound deadening, that's not a nightmare like rhino lining.
I use this product on my 2014 2500 Dodge Ram Cummins and I was not happy with it it was very delicate I did everything. The Box told me to do for prepping with all the sanding and whatnot I used to do body work anyways not happy with the product was very rubbery didn't Harden. I currently now on a 2015 Chevy Silverado I'll never go back to a diesel again anyways it did not come with a bedliner again so I bought the do-it-yourself spray in Raptor liner and wow this stuff is hard you could actually drag stuff on it and not worry just giving you guys the heads up I think the price difference was $100 more for the Raptor liner I live in Canada and cost me 250 with the whole kit spray gun and everything I think the Dupli-Color sold at Canadian Tire I got for a hundred and twenty bucks something like that I don't remember but you get what you pay for that's for sure

how long did you mix? my herculiner is super thick even after i mixed it withe drill and its thick thick. yours looks muddy mine looks like tar
do they have a glossy black color?
Very good video. with that being said, wouldn't be able to haul anything that you don't want scratched without using a blanket.

listen I know they dont tell you this but it would help if u could bring to your local paint store and they will put it on the mixing machine to make sure you get a good roll on ..notice how watery looking it is..I promise anyone if u mix it well ...the job will come out good..this is for people who did not have a mixer like you did..
This is 100% true. The paint stick couldn't mix it enough. Should have just went and got a mixer for a drill! But either way for the bed will work and looks nice.
Why are you so concerned with the roughness? It is a truck... if anything the texture will help with loading and keeping stuff from sliding around

Nope it has no smell. But if you shake the can before mixing it 3 times it'll smell like cherry. 4 times pancakes. Don't shake it 5 times because it'll smell like a turd after going to taco bell.
it's water based the ones that are stinky and smelly are the oil base paint.
So this truly has no smell? Or just very light. I can't use the products that have high smells.
How much bed liner did you have left over

I prefer the aerosol cans of this @ $10 a can(bought 8 cans) i did the whole roof of my E350 extended van with 4 coats. The finish is way better than this, it looks more like sandpaper having that uniform look.

The reason why it looks the way it does is because rolling... Spray on would have a more even finish
It would look the same if you sprayed it on . It's a textured coating . It's supposed to be like that .
So, six months later...how is it holding up?
+The Journey Montrose Actually not too bad. There are some chips and scrapes that made the liner come up, but overall holding up good. I will be making an update video soon, stay tuned.

It'll look the same if you spray it on . It's actually easier to use the roller .

I put it in the bed of my '89 Comanche . Came out great . Can't beat it for the price . It's as good as Rhino Liner .

First that's how it's supposed to look. Also the roller is not helping you.
I did mine with the roller . Came out bitchen . Looks like it was sprayed on.
I gave you a thumbs up because you started and finished your project but the results were very rough, bro. I did my bed yesterday but i used the Raptor product and sprayed it on. I did 4 hours and the sanding was done with my small electric sander. Cut my time doung that. The taping was the part that took the longest. I then sprayed the liner and i was very happy with it! Almost professional grade if i do say so myself. 😁 I did 3 coats on the walls and 6 coats on the bed. It was almost 300 bucks but saved almost 300 bucks doing it myself. Some placed charge 900 to 1200.

DuPont d same guys that made Teflon for pans? N now everyone has equivalent to a rubber tire in them 🤪 maybe stuff sticks better to cars than frying pans
