With the greatest respect to you, there is no tale to tell here. Whilst there are historical Roman references to the Druids in Britain the only specific place we have any mention of them is Anglesey in Wales. Whilst it is certain that the Romans suppressed the Druids in mainland Europe and Southern Britain during the first century AD (where Rome established total control), Britain north of Hadrian's Wall was never consolidated into their empire. Therefore, if Druids existed in Scotland they would have survived the Roman invasion in the south, largely intact and we would likely know more about them. But history is silent. The Druids were a Celtic phenomenon, but the stone circles you mention (and all similar megalithic monuments) predate the arrival of the Celts in Britain by thousands of years and therefore cannot be used as evidence of Druids.
