Very interesting.
Wonderful humanitarian work.
I found your UA-cam channel through a son who lives in Edinburgh, as well as two grandsons and a daughter-in-law. I love Edinburgh. I've been there eight times. Everything fascinates me: the architecture, the history and the Scottish people, who are kind and well-mannered. I liked your videos and subscribed. I wish you luck and health, and a triple fraternal hug from Brasil.
Thank you so much :) i do appreciate your kind words :) be blessed my friend
The isles are kinda there own wee hing never really felt like Scotland any time I have been seems different
Nice views! Scotland looks very lovely :)
It really is!
Don't forget wildshape!
My great grandmother, Alice Noemi Clerk was from Quebec and I believe her great grandfather, George Clerk was born at Penicuick. I believe his brother James/John? was baronet and George left Scotland and started a Catholic newspaper in Quebec.

Incorporated into knights of saint John. The knights of saint john in scotland dates back to 6th century.
dont want to fight here but st john has been eastablished 1099
@JourneyDude the knights of Saint John did not believe this. They believed they founded a hospital in Jerusalem in the time of Saint John the baptist and also a far off land. Although this is myth, it does have an element of truth that it is much , much older than the templars. It is likely that it was founded in Scotland in the location of the Chapel of Julian / Julius the roman around the 350ade era but was secretive and small. It slowly grew in numbers until the 550ade era where the first Christian King anywhere in Great Britain was Caddow of Strathclyde. His sons Saint Maelok, Saint Gildas, Saint Michael etc were individually famous throughout Europe. These Saint were the source of the legions of the knights of Saint John and also the Arthorian knights. The locations for these places were also the centers for the knights of Saint John even today. Why is it even today when a member of the knights of Saint John die in Scotland they wear the black gown but everywhere else they wear the red gown. Why is it the banner of the knights of Saint John is the royal flag of Scotland. These traditions come from the old order of the Scottish knights. At the funeral of Robert 1st the other knights wore their black gowns as it had been forbidden to wear them by the English until this point.
@@douglasfell4199 this is very interesting Douglas :) i would love to have a discussion with you on these topics as i love this history
@@JourneyDude The Legend of Saint Julian the Hospitaller by Gustave Flaubert, is a re-telling of an older story, likely to have been transferred to northern France by Saint Gildas who was a Prince of Strathclyde and ended up in France. Other oral traditions like Camelot, originally Cambusmaelok monastery of Saint Maelok, shortened to Cameluk (as Edward 1st calls it) corrupted to Camelot by Chrestien de Troyes. Saint Maelok ends up in Lugo, Spain and attends second council of Braga 572ade. Saint Maelok's cousin was Saint Patrick who was born Nemphlar near Lanark still called dalpatrick today according to hymn of Saint Fiach. The similarities between the character lancelot and Maelok can not be overlooked.
@@douglasfell4199 loved it, did you watched my whole video about templars i did? it was for tv show but also i love this topic so much (and not in grail hunting way) ua-cam.com/video/y67HZ5X44mI/v-deo.html
Awesome !!
Thank you :) did you seen my video about Temple village? First headquarters of knight templar in Scotland? waych here :) ua-cam.com/video/y67HZ5X44mI/v-deo.html
Thank you
You're welcome
My blood is very Slovak and Scottish, interestingly enough! Haha! I have been to Scotland and Slovakia is where I want to go next! <3 I love both groups of people and their histories.
nice
I wonder if he was experiencing bi polar or some other kind of mental illness
hmmm might be probably an option :)
That's so surreal for me right now. I'm from Quebec, and my whole family, but my great grandfather, too.One day I learned that my great grandfather (Sydney Percy Clerk) is from Scotland, that it make me a descendent of baronnet, then that part of that family "owns" a "castle". You know family.. they like to exaggerate things lol. Then I see that (not castle but still) BIG BEAUTIFUL house that my ancestors used to live in, and that almost everything I heard is true. I'm shocked haha
oh wow :) but i am very glad i was able to show you one of many homes of your family ancestors :) Clerk fam living there are actually very nice people
Great ! Thanks
You are welcome!
I got married in St Margaret's chapel in the castle. It was an incredible place to get married.
Such annoying bagpipes I switched off
sorry its old video :)
I hope you enjoyed this video :)
Its not age old. The French made this bs up to make fun of Scottish.
The least you could have done was show the right castle. Why would you show Neuschwanstein, a German castle (& the most famous castle in the world due to the movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” & Disney) when you’re talking about a Scottish castle?
i a video there is a real picture of craigmillar castle that i have taken myself!
People don't feel like it could never happen to them. People fear it. Disgusting state of affairs. Why has this situation been allowed to develop???😮😢😮
and its getting worst
Great! You have a wonderful voice, my friend! I'm a bagpiper and I would love to accompany you!
Very nicely played, my friend! You're an inspiration to me!
No such thing as "Holy Grail".
i know but you will be surprised how many people are still" hunting for it"
Is it exploiting someone by making people aware of these people's situation if by showing this it pays you so that you can then continue to help those in need? I think people have been lead astray by celebrities actually exploiting people to believe that the average person whom DOESNT earn millions and millions a year is doing the same thing
this was way beyond the line of "sharing awareness" - with my friends we do a loads of things for people in need without needing to show it on camera and torture already starving human for a buscuit
What is your accent?
My accent is eastern european :) i am an expat living in Scotland :)
@@freshergaming6627 I am near Stirling.

Where is it? I am in Scotland
Torphicken near bathgate :) West Lothian :)
Nice...do you need a permit/permission for any Scottish rivers?
Yes and no :) if we go to someones private property or land, i personally always ask for permission just for the courtesy
Hearing "She turned me into a newt!! ... i got better"
I think people who make money off the unfortunate are disgusting 🤢 I see so many of them on all platforms
there is too many of them ....sad
Quite a few are not hidden gems... but I would have added the courtyards of old College and divinity school of U of Edinburgh, museum of Childhood and Surgeon's Hall!
agree :") i made this video long time ago :) will be doing new version that will be more comprehensive

Airbenders are from scottland?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskelion
@@JourneyDude lol. I knew it wasn't an Airbender sign.
Bloody vandals!
Avoid Falkirk, believe me I live here. It is full of alcoholics, Domestic Abusers (equal men & women), Druggies, Crime, Violence, etc. Might be some interesting places, BUT you will not be safe, the police, Falkirk Council, the SNP enable and protect these scum (especially the female criminals) to make life HELL for all. In fact the majority of crumes happen within Council Properties as the Council/ SNP turn a blind eye to it.
Had to be the aliens!!!
:D lizzy people? :D
Oh cool a Triskelion!
i think there is more around there but not found any
Sir William Crichton is my legitimate 17th great-grandfather. Can't wait to visit Scotland & see this castle.
