Mad Tricks of Spencer Bartons „10 Skateboard Tricks NEVER done before!“ video would be a cool idea 😊 And the trick you land in this video is mind blowing by the way! 🤩🤯
Sounds like you are saying Rot-knee Mullen. Show some respect and learn the guy's name. I'm just jiving. It' great to see you pay homage to the most prolific trick inventor of all time.
Imagine trying a trick 1000 times and still being pissed at yourself for tick tacking a trick that 99% of people couldn't do lol Jonny is a different breed yo
I hope that kid also picked up on some of your determination, seeing you trying this trick so many times was such a good example of the perseverance that's necessary to get better!
The double flip out is so beautiful & to me the triple flip out counts. I would love to see a 360 flip out as well. I have a feeling that your next video part will be similar to Mullen's round 3 ending tricks with many primo variations. Your my favorite skater to watch, thanks Jonny.
My love of physics keeps bringing me back to skateboarding videos...20+ years ago when I was a teenager, I loved skating. Then adulthood happened. These days I find my interest in physics satisfied by firearms. But somehow I always end up coming back to skating.
I started on skate some weeks ago and today I learned my first ollie (higher than usual), and watching these videos is a truly inspiration to still trying to improve. I admire your patience and perseverance Jonny!
Even outside of skateboarding, I like this video. The fact that you show all the attempts. It's actually encouraging knowing that even at the peak of skill, people still go through the same learning processes. Sometimes you get worse before you get better.
Jonny Giger once your career skating comes to an end due to old age if it ever does happen you and Mullen will legi be on a whole other level. i hope you continue to innovate skating, I bet Mullen would be so proud of all the skaters like yourself that continue pushing the realm of what is capable with a piece of wood and 4 wheels. your one of my favorite skaters of all time in my own opinion.
I dont know if I should ignore that at 2:15 when he jump cuts another attempt the car in the background is still in motion like he actually teleported. . .
Love the authentic feel of your channel! Been watching awhile but watching this one and watching you go days without getting the trick the way you wanted and continuing after DAYS, I could relate! Much love, keep up the content
I wonder when Mullen will reach out to you. I know he’s heard of you. This is prolly the best trick I’ve seen you do. I don’t know... there is so many!! Amazing!
I’ll never forget. It was like 1999, and it was opening day of the new local skatepark.. I was there with my buddy Braden. The park opened and we were slashing around skating it, there were SO many people there. Out of nowhere, my buddy Braden throws his board down going FULL speed and does a kickflip on flat- he accidentally lands perfectly primo- and the brand new slick skatepark cement looks like ice as he primo slides like 15-20 feet then somehow popped/flipped it back to the wheels and rode away like a superhero. Everyone who saw it lost their minds, and it was so casual and perfect and fast I’m sure everyone thought he did it on purpose. Best accident ever lol
Dude thank you for narrating the footage finally!! I didn't know I wanted it, but please keep doing it... somehow it makes it easier to watch 500 tries at a trick.
Everytime I watch one of your videos I get epically pumped when you finally nail it. Your videos are not only nostalgic but relaxing to me my dude.... please keep it up I'd like to see you reinvent or invent your own new tricks bro!
Bro going primo is so hard on your ankles the best one I did at this smooth ass park I slid like 20-25 feet and the 8 other skaters bikers went nuts. It felt epic to me
Much respect Jonny, no matter how many tries you need to land a hard trick, you push through and have the ability to pull it off. Also I’m sure you could get ahold of Rodney Mullen. I mean, you made a name for yourself too dude
Hey Jonny! I've been checkimg out the channel for a few months now and I have got to tell you... Your content is 100% my favorite channel of all time. Please continue uploading! You are awesome man. Sending prayers your way from Oregon USA get better soon man! I can't wait to see your next upload.
Johnny, one day can you give us a run down of your skate setup, and what features help with technical tricks and why? (i.e. tight trucks, wide board (?), Locking into a crook to flip out, flip out nose manny etc.) I've been riding 7.5" wide boards because I figure it easier for flip tricks. Looks like your setup is wider, and no issues with technical skating. Skating 25+ years, feel like I need to change my ways.
Thanks for giving us this. I also like the post commentary, you can add a frame to the video of you speaking (nothing too fancy, just a plane color will do). It will make the smaller video pop out more
Wow Jonny, that trick is crazy. So many potential variations you landed aswell. Insane man 🤯 but landing that on the first day was amazing, even with the dodgy landing.
you know what they say " once is luck, twice is coincidence and three times is skill" in a row of cause ! what a struggle mate! i would never have stamina!
I don't think style is more important than difficulty, but I think style is super important, it would be sick to see this trick just with a regular 3/4 heelflip out stomped super smoothly too.
I just agree with, what the most people did say here -> One of my favorite skaters and definitely nice to watch reproducting those tricks! Keep on Jonny! 👍✌💪
I love these videos, so satisfying to see the tricks eventually landed, and all the effort that goes into it, always pushing the limits, thank you Jonny ❤️
You're an absolute inspiration! I call the idea you were talking about, controlled hell. Put yourself through heavy stress in your field of expertise because it causes your brain to rewire easier and new discoveries of technique can be achieved. You find out much more about what you're capable of. You deserve every ounce of success you achieve Johnny! = D
We appreciate your struggle and we're happy for you. I'm not sure but I think in your older videos you used to have a Giger counter? Maybe I imagined it. .The time lapse is very cool. 11 hours of sessions in four days is dedication. Giger counter,, bottom right of the screen I think it's a good idea..
I’m convinced his middle name is Possibly, because that is his approach to nearly every trick, even if it ends up not being possible (idk if that’s happened yet but)

rodney mullen look him up.
Imagine playing skate with this dude. My turn - nollie flip, your turn Johnny - heelflip primo triple flip varial.... so yeah, I have an S.
This comment so underatted
@@kushdaddy4202 Being as a primo variation is not acceptable in a normal game of skate, this comment is overrated.

99%? He may be 1 of 10 on the planet that could do this in a days time
And then thinking "yeah ok, i better go help this random kid learn to ollie before i try again!". Johnny's such an inspiration.
Uhhhhhhhhh 99.999998% MAYBE.
He built different
Yeah I’d say there’s less than 5 people who could land this in under 3 days. Johnny is crazy man
Imagine being able to accidentally land a heel-flip to manual
or accidentally landing a heelflip primo double flip varial XD
You helping that kid do the ollie was wholesome af!
Thats what skateboarding was always all about. Comraderie.
I hope that kid also picked up on some of your determination, seeing you trying this trick so many times was such a good example of the perseverance that's necessary to get better!
"Skaters thought this trick was impossible"
Mullen: _laughs in Skate God_
"Not to be a bragging person, but this might be a really hard difficult trick"
the most wholesome humble brag ive ever heard
I respect you, sir.
I'm just waiting for Giger to do a trick that literally breaks the laws of physics
Excalibur flip?
@@sousosour1287 Oh yeah! I hope he does that trick one day.
@@jenniferperez9714 👍
create a black hole late flip
@Tyler Simmons that's happened before
I love that you stopped and helped the kid with his ollie, wholesome af Jonny!
*dude what the actual......, I rarely get stocked on skateboard tricks these days, but this is for real just pure insanity. (not bad emoji)* 👍
also get well soon buddy.
Hey it's you hi
@Miami you can't
@Miami I don't even think that's possible, I think the most that's doable is a nollie laser late flip.

My favorite skater. Awesome human being!!!
it looked motion-captured in the bts footage for the game! but maybe there was some tweaking
pretty sure it was motion captured but they didn‘t show the whole thing, nonetheless i think rodney could pull this one off ✌🏻🙏🏼
I'm so glad I got the cerberus deck while I had the chance. Definitely a wall piece right next to my Hosoi Hammerhead deck.
Hosoi... there's a name!!!🤙

@@J4themperor same it's either just his luck or he has something to tell us haha
thats why he gets in so many attempts duh. he teleports back instead of walking back
haha indeed the illusion is almost perfect (though the car actually shrinks suddenly : must have driven through a portal of some sorts...)
obviously he set a session marker that he jumps back to for a new attempt...

You did this trick perfectly with a little tic-tac and acted like you didn’t land it. Have more self-esteem, Jonny! You are the best out there!
You're channel has made me want to get back on the board at 33 after ten years. Love your style.
That trick in that intro blew my mind as a kid. I hope one day I get to join you and Mullen in the elite club of people who’ve landed that
What is amazing to me is you took time to teach a young man to ollie.... "pop an ollie and innovate"
