    I started doing these and my hands became much looser, more nimble, with an overall increase in comfort. With that said the first time I played my aim was terribly off because my hands felt so different. I gradually got my aim back over the session and by the middle of the session I was playing much better. It changed so much for me I contemplated sports medicine as my specialty to pursue (I'm a med student).

    After casual gaming for over 25 years, out of nowhere I started getting agonizing and increasingly worsening pain in my primary hand. Over time it got bad enough that it was radiating right up my arm and shoulder. Even if I took a complete break from gaming for several weeks, it would quickly start up again when I next played.
    I've been using these warm-up and the corresponding warm-down exercises and although I'm still keeping my gaming time significantly reduced, I've not experienced any pain since I've been using these exercises even if I play for 2-4 hours straight.
    While I've got ongoing hand problems generally I'm so glad for these exercises, as gaming is an important hobby for me and I was pretty crushed at the idea of giving it up completely. Thanks so much!

    I've actually sent the video to two persons. One of them was my prof (I'm currently studying medicine) and the other one was the chief physician at one of the biggest hospitals here. They both absolutely agreed with you, and even showed me why it is good. Doing it since then and am capable of finding actual relief while gaming and even prior to writing big exams. Thank you!

    BIG SUB ! Needed this years ago ! I started notice pain in my elbow recently, and i have very bad movement in my wrists... This is very much a neglected area in gaming that gives us decreased mobility and injuries, it´s very important i´d say as in any repetitive motion a proper warm-up is key to maintain injury free , big thanks for this channel, being a part of making gaming a healthier community

    this is fantastic and has helped me so much! i'm not a gamer, i work in a warehouse and have started a position that requires some dexterity i don't have yet. my hands were getting incredibly painful and numb at night after a couple of weeks. since one of the common symptoms of carpel tunnel syndrome is pain and loss of sensation overnight, i was doing exercises and stretches for that issue. i think i found your video on saturday and have done these stretches every day before and after work and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference! i slept without a wrist brace last night and didn't wake up with any pain or numbness. such a relief! your whole channel looks like a great resource for healthy hands.

    This advice is very similar to what we're told to do in the Animation industry. If anyone's curious, there's a book called Draw Stronger - it has a lot of tips for people who spend time at their desk and use their hands a lot. It's catered to artists, but absolutely has uses beyond it. A lot of what's in this video is in that book! Thanks for putting this together. :)

      When we first decided to review G FUEL, we had similar expectations. Our automatic (and admittedly, unfair) assumption was that it would be full of unhealthy ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised at their formula, and so we wanted to support G FUEL for being a much cleaner alternative to the energy drinks that are packed with sugar and other harmful additives.

    Started doing these exercises to increase CPS and reduce tightness in hands and wrist (which in turn improved my flicking) for valorant. Fantastic videos, I've noticed improvement in the first two days but notice more improvement in a week. Honestly, (as you probably know) you're onto something. I think these exercises (As you definitely know) are not only for esports but for Keyboard warriors, gun slingers, folks that sow and anything that has to do with hands. I also workout 6 days a week. This has massively increased my grip strength and mind body control for my upper body. I feel sore WAY less often. Which allows me to be more consistent on Valorant when I workout and my arms take a toll.
    My only question is when doing any of these exercises are you focusing on keeping your chest out and or keeping your shoulder blades down? As if you're bracing for some pushing exercise (like a bench press)? In the video the guy presenting the exercises already has really good posture. But that kind of posture has to be reinforced.

    • @EsportsHealthcare
      @EsportsHealthcare  2 роки тому +2

      We always encourage core engagement and upright posture during any movement patterns, even the one shown here which wouldn't normally be a risk for the spine or any part of the trunk.

      @@supersop1367 those finger circles can be infuriating 😅
      If you choose to self-adjust (officially, we don't recommend it, for legal purposes), it can be done before, during, and/or after. The release of the joint(s) shouldn't have a negative effect on any part of your gaming. Just be careful.
