We got an initial spark of inspiration when we saw people making their own D&D characters / diaramas with clay on social media. After some initial tests, we found that this aesthetic both matched the level of complexity we're aiming for and could be created relatively quickly, which is perfect when you only have 1 artist on your team :D
Totally agree! I think this style really helps it stand out. I know I personally haven't seen a lot of other games recently in the genre use this style or something close.

gosh this game is overwhelmingly beautiful. the fact that it is still at Demo Stage and potentially go even further, marvelous. lovin it
