The series is so beautiful. I feel like that word fails to describe the series. There’s just something so pure in Lestat, but he comes off as this toxic monster, but even though he’s a vampire, he is a product of how hateful his father was and it’s something he obviously will never shake. Lestat’s love for Louie is pure and real, but sadly, his past bleeds into his present and makes him the villain. Their love is so fierce, so violent, so sultry…..Where can I get me a vampire?
I haven't seen the series but from the slivers, this Lestat seems to be a delightful monster: childish, charming, obsessive, and cruel. and he still seems sweet. He looks at Louis with hunger, like he could eat him alive but chose to kiss him instead.
I still remember the film though and never could understand what compelled Louis to Lestat - now I can. Nice work, and a beautiful choice of music.
The play version made a lot of changes, showing a different relationship between Lestat and Louis, but also more tangled, I'm glad you like the clip

This is simply lovely. I have been enjoying all month and so immersed I forgot to leave a comment. It reminded me Louis had no issue telling everyone except Lestat how much he loved him, I thought it strange and slightly cruel. Then I was reminded the last person he said "I love you " to was Paul, maybe it's a trigger for him. But clearly their love is eternal. Endgame ♥️🧡♥️
