Why do I always go back to this video when I’m vulnerable and emotional

Man... I always come back to compilations like this, of just their first life together, their relationship. And I can't stop myself from just thinking about it; how many mistakes and poor decisions were made, how many simple failures that cost them both just so much. And all born from miscommunication, a lack of proper communication and ultimately wild spirals of misunderstandings. And finally, how the whole trajectory and success of their first life together, could have been completely different, if Lestat had just made some different choices. Handled certain things differently. Even in the books version of the story, there were so many times that things just broke apart and curdled between them, because Lestat just could not seem to stop making the worst decisions, at the worst times. Just over and over again... Just for a few examples in the show. Lestat by the time he meets and makes Louis, he's well over 100yrs old. And he had his own dealings and burying and outliving his own family. He had that time, ample time, in this adapted version to it. So what he should've/could've done, is just allowed Louis to be with them, helped him cohabitate with them, until they all died and left, naturally. Instead of making it such a negative thing, for Louis. Lestat just didn't want to take the time, be patient, be understanding. Sympathetic, empathetic. He just wanted to get to the end of it a soon as possible, so that they could be free of it together and Louis could heal it and they together could just have "fun" and "enjoy" their Vampire lives. But how he handled the whole thing, how he essentially tried to rush Louis through it, make him skip passed his born family into just letting go and moving past, and accepting just Lestat as his family instead. He definitely had some good intentions there too, he was trying, in his way, to save Louis from the pain of it. Avoid Louis accidently hurting or killing someone from his own family, something he most likely never would have recovered from, which Lestat would know... But the way he handled the whole thing, literally made it so much worse for Louis. Which made the eventually loss of his family not only that much harder, but also created blame and resentment towards Lestat for it... Then the feeding thing. There's so many things that Lestat could have done differently. He could have brought Louis only bad guys, helped him find and hunt say super racist dudes. Actively kept the sadism and cruelty to a minimum, as to avoid making it such an abhorrent thing, right out of the gate, for Louis. Could have helped him understand it as him actually helping his own community, find the good in it. Like Dexter killing only other serial killers and predators. And if Louis still ended up going through the vegetarian phase, instead of making it just a point of contention and taking it so personally, again making it all so much worse. He could have had patience there, helped Louis understand why human blood was so necessary for them, had Louis supplement his diet with Lestats blood. Hell, he could have done what Louis later does in the book, and help Louis find those people where death is a "mercy" to them, those people actively wishing to die. Just so many things. Arguably small things, he could have done differently, that would've/could've made all the difference. There's so many other things as well, don't even get me started on the Antionette thing, such an absolute clown move. But as the Maker, and the teacher and as just the older Vampire. Who had more experience and just knew more overall. He just simply could have handled so many things, so differently and their relationship/marriage and "first" life, in general. Would have been so much better for it. The tragedy of it all man...

Poor Louis!! I always have to laugh, at the family/Lestat dinner scene. Louis is over there absolutely shitting himself, he's stressing so bad. He felt so strongly about/for Lestat at that point and just wanted his family to accept him, and approve. Poor Louis man 😭

The second season Claudia acted good but no one will ever beat season 1’s sorry she made me love them together even more I’m sad she couldn’t do it cause she was filming Avatar with Zoe 😢 and now her characters arc is over I wonder what season 3 has in store for us lestats new era I can’t wait to see who Akasha,Enkil,Magnus,Gabrielle etc are I can’t wait 😮 so excited new era

*He’s had a couple romances. Nothing that lasted. Something kept getting in the way.* Although Marcus was talking solely about Tim, I’d say that those words all ring true for both Tim and for Hawk. Hawk married Lucy but he never loved her how she deserved and had to live through their 30 years of marriage knowing that she never had from him and that it was only ever Tim who he held that for. Hawk was also hooking up emotionlessly with men before and even when they were married which hurt Lucy but she had comfort as her mother told her knowing that Hawk always came back to her and the rest was all about the meeting of needs. But with Tim, that’s where it really struck Lucy knowing that he was always the only one who Hawk’s heart and desire truly was with. Lucy deserves sympathy but also respect for not tearing Hawk away from Tim in the end and having the respect to tell him to stay and see everything unfinished between them through even though she was hurting from it. For Tim, he was always told and warned by so many that Hawk was bad for him, that he had to let him go and get over him, but Tim always had Hawk; Hawk always needed Tim more, and even throughout everything, Tim always loved him and no one else got close to his heart like how he’d been the only one to get to Hawk’s.

I've watched Japanese bls, Korean ones, and thai ones too but Japanese ones hits different. And by far this is my most favorite bl drama even though it's been 1 year but I still rewatch this. My most favorite ep in the drama was when Yoh got rejected by the manga company and Segasaki helped hi with everything. The only problem is they are so much introverts that they don't say a word

as a person who enjoy dramas that are raw and writers aren't afraid or shy to put the bitterness of reality i love this drama so much can't describe how much it means to me and damn ur edit is just perfectly describes the story in very short time.

This series should have been Skam Korea. Not that series they have out now. It doesn't do the Skam storyline justice

This was such a different kind of drama but i loved seeing how yoh knew how to really “see” segasaki despite the seemingly bright exterior he gave off during his uni years but then seeing how lack of communication made quite the tumultuous relationship when they started living together
