I love the cowl on the bike.
I own this exact model, I took the cowl off after the first ride over 80kmh. The wind buffeting was incredible, I didn't feel safe trying to go over 90 kmh, with my helmet being knocked side to side. Without the cowl no problems at all up to 120kmh, I'm still running mine in at 1000km.

salut baieti! ma bucur ca ati avut sansa de a primii modelul nou de honda rebel. Chiar abia astept sa vad videoul urmator in care vorbiti despre detalii. Oricum peste aproximativ o luna am sa cumpar modelul nou in culoarea albastra. Pare o motocicleta foarte capabila pentru carnetul A2. Succes in continuare am sa va urmaresc Din centrul Spaniei.:) PA!

MATTE BLUE JEANS METALLIC,
MATTE ARMORED SILVER on 2020 models, and a color similar to that of your motorcycle
MATTE GRAY METALLIC, but in 2019 models, but no 2020 with this color of your motorcycle.

I'm not sure why some 2020 model comes with matte gray. Maybe in different countries only. In US it's Glossy Black, Matte Blue, Matte Silver.
So what you are seeing here is the "S" edition of the Honda Rebel 2020. It hasn't hit the US market yet, because of corona virus, but it was already released in Europe. Hopefully we will see it soon, because I LOVE the upgrades and color of the S edition!
@@valiant545 Most of the upgrades you will end up taking off. The cowl causes wind turbulence, the nice seat you will take off to replace it with a spring seat. The fork gaitors are the only bit I would order, along with proper suspension that doesn't bottom out all the time and jar your spine.

It's actually a very dark matte grey, from most angles it looks black

@@hoathim2573 It depends on your leg length, your inseam measurement, I'm 5'7 but have short legs with 27 inch inseam, no problems at all I can flat foot both sides over the seat no problem. It's people with long torso that will have problems as they will get wind buffeting from the cowl.
Only if you have long legs and a short torso, sitting high in the seat the cowl will give you problems, I took mine off in the first week of owning this model.

The first thing every western country should do, is stick a 30% tariff on the bikes, the same as Thailand does with motor vehicles from the west.
Difficult subject, tariffs. Two wrongs don’t make a right and generally tariffs don’t benefit consumers. Following US tariffs on EU steel and aluminium, and by the way I work in the UK steel industry, the EU retaliation included a 31 % tariff on US built Harleys, but Harleys built in Thailand only attract 6 %. Had a large EU tariff been in place on Thai bikes then maybe Triumph wouldn’t have moved manufacturing there, but they would probably have found somewhere else?
No tarrif’s please! They solve nothing and are guaranteed to cause retaliation on the country’s their levied on. BTW they were a MAJOR cause of the “Great Depression” in the US back in the 1930’s, not something we need again anytime soon.
@@stewy62 It's one way of stopping manufacturers leaving the country. I agree that tariffs are damaging, but if you're not being treated fairly where tariffs are concerned and other countries are enticing your manufacturing base away, then the options are few.
@@LexPips Really, then why are Asian countries imposing 30%+ tariffs on the UK and other western countries, seemingly oblivious to anything we say or do?
on the other hand, in Canada you pay at least $2000/year on insurance and can go up to 8000. And thats even a 250cc in some cases. I doubt your insurance is nearly this high. We get to pay the price of a brand new bike in 2-3 years as insurance.
Can the firing order of the engine be adjusted from 180 to 270 degree?
No. it's in the design of the crankshaft

Oh great...an adventure biker is going to do a review on a cruiser. It's not a BMW so I'm sure it's not going to be a lovefest, but it's also not a Harley so I'm sure he's not going to just shit on it either for no reason. Actually my curiosity is peaked but considering how hes treated cruisers in the past I'm not optimistic. Let's find out.

it sounds horrible for a custom bike...
The exhaust does actually have a deep rumble that's not being picked by the mic. The engine does sound very 'buzzy' it gets quieter as it runs in.
