Thank you very much. After 23 years I changed the battery by myself. Actually I just cut 2 small pieces from a non-slip grip mat (which is very cheap) and used a tennis ball to give the presure to open the cap. Very easy.
@@RadekW- no I didn't test it. But you know what, last time I asked Breitling only to change the battery without maintenance and the they told me that if I only wanted to have the battery changed then the watch isn't waterproof anymore. What a big joke!
@@TipsNNTricks This is Chinese Breitling or Turkish or Arabian. My God. Chinese or Turkish Breitling replica you can open using ball. It is not possible to close the back case using a ball in such a way that the watch still has a 200, 300, 500 meters waterproof.

Twisting the tape and pushing opposite directions with my thumbs as I unscrew the back. Very easy. I couldnt get a ball to work or any other rubber grip surface. I suspect duct tape would work too. Nawwwww all quartz Breitlings are based on ETA Swiss made movements, mechanical also based on ETA/ Valjoux , and now in house or collaboration with Tudor......

I agree the watch is a fake, however I just tried this on my real breitling cronograph (and yes it has a battery) that usually costs me over a hundred dollars to send out and have the factory do it. Grant it, im doing the water pressure test but for $5 for the battery, Im happy. I had to wrap a ball with the rubber thing you use to open lids and a lot of pressure. But it did indeed work.
Do not change the battery on in a real breitling the way he did. Nothing but finger prints on the battery and the movement which will cause damage later on and reduce the accuracy too. Awful video
It's a fake, as if a Breitling has a battery ?? I'm a big fan of replica watches though. I could never afford a real one and I've got a an automatic Hublot Chronograph copy that no-one believes is fake. You can get some real good copies at very good prices. Just remember to take them of before diving though ! They have the look and weight without the worry of walking around with 40+k strapped to your wrist.
This is replica, yes. Navitimer does not come in a quartz movement. But the entire Breitling Aerospace serious comes in a Superquartz, which is powered by a buttery.
Hi can you tell me the best way to tell if a Breitling is fake? I inherited one and i watched multiple "how to see if its fake" but it all points to being a real one but im still not sure :P
@@ilikevideos1444 wanna email me some pictures, I am sure I can tell, there are usually giveaway signs like too many hours on the bezel dials, the butterfly and anchor being fixed to each other with no fixed detailing seperating them and opening it. You can tell straight away this one in the video is fake a mile away as the cheap white plastic ring would never be fitted in a real one. The stamping/detailing on the back, band, bracelet and clasp should all be detailed and you can read them from a fair distance away as the Breitling details are sharp, deep and immaculate. On most fakes, even the good ones, the detailing is not so crisp, as if the branding is struck lightly on one side and heavier in other areas is hard to read in places and often on the cheaper end of the fake scale the centre of the second hand (the compass) point should be a clear circle not a smudge or a blemish and the white pearlescent ball at the top of the bezel should be white and oval to touch, not grey, yellow or greenish and resembling a blob of glue. The clasp and bracelet and the bezel should fit snugly and snap and click as if engineered perfectly, (a really good example in my view is slam a door on a Roll's Royce, then slam the door on a cheap economical car, ((a basic Ford, Toyota or Fiat)), the Rolls will close firmly and with precision, the cheap car will almost bend when you slam that one!), the engineering is second to none and so is the price as well but this is what Breitling are renounded for, good luck!!! I did own a real one, but that went missing, however no one has stolen the fakes I have worn ;) Some of the fakes are very well made, like a Seiko, but if you put it to a jeweller, he may smash it, damage it or do anything to it, as the fakes are a lot less expensive to maintain and jewellers make a lot of dough out of it. NOT TRUE! You can't tell that in general! I've got two Breitling watches, that need battery and both are 100% genuine. All Breitling quartz watches have a battery. So my Navitimer Quarz has a digital display also - what of course needs electrical power.

I have a thirty year old Aerospace, at the time I got it new it was fantastic. Granted no backlight but looked amazing with gold accents on the grey titanium case bezel and band. Had it serviced twice for battery and overhaul. Very expensive FedEx'ing and servicing to/in Connecticut back in the day. Around 2000 I got my first Citizen titanium eco drive analogue and digital display watch, amazing. Put the Breitling in a soft pouch and case and placed in my drawer...it has been over 20 years. I think to service to Breitling and mail away all total would probably be over $300 for just the battery and unsure about other recommended maintenance, I think not. Watch is in excellent condition and looks beautiful with the sapphire crystal and so light. You really can only have your Breathing serviced by them and you would need to mail away. If they nick or scratch the titanium finish they will fix and machine or replace as needed, that is why you send it to them. They can change hands etc too. You really get what you pay for, but you really pay..kind of like owning a BMW (have one too that I never drive, but it is purty) Take it or leave it, but enjoy it if you have it. Meanwhile I have many Titanium watches from Citizen (eco drives) , and Bulova Jetstars 2023, and Oceanus and also a Casio, all titanium and all digital-analogue displays except for the Bulova (also a Citizen owned brand) and the analog Oceanus. My favorite everyday driver is a CASIO lineage titanium with a blue grey face, light and a radio controlled time signal which I just sync to an app that mimics the time signal, solar powered and under $250 US on AMZ. Put a round glass stick on face screen cover for added protection, the face is 36 mm diameter, and I got a slightly smaller 35 or 35.5 mm for a better fit. I think the crystal is sapphire, but why take chances for this everyday but probably the best value timepiece ever. PS: My massive gold Zodiac Astographic from 2015 is a self-winding Swiss beauty and marvel too, but too heavy to wear regularly.Fossil did own Zodiac brand at the time, but Fossil was a joke for support and service.

Another item is i used a phone magnet that you put on the car AC vents and it works and grips perfect
