Thank you! I started the game a month ago and I've only been doing Ashes stuff, so didn't have a lot of reason to dive too deep into LAMS, this is definitely good to know before starting any large vehicles.
will you ever do a adventure mode lets play? i'm interested to see how ya would play that with your knownledge
Hmm, I dunno how I feel about adventure. I'm a slow and very deliberate builder... I could make prefabs in the designer ahead of time I guess? Maybe someday, I do kinda want to get all the achievements for the game lol
@@OhmIsFutile it's a pretty fun mode imo, Especially as a challenge. There is blue portals where you can take all the time in the world to build(as you don't get attacked at all), but it will push you up a few levels in difficulty when leaving. n' yeah I bet

On middle 3x laser coupler with laser frequency doubler don't worked like this 121 AP, still show 40 AP, only work on laser cavity with laser frequency doubler. Could patched & this video outdated.
Nope, it still does work like this. You need to make sure your couplers have the same number of q-switches. So no, not outdated.

Maybe? There just isn't a lot to say.
The cheap option is wood spam. It doesn't lend itself to a pretty-looking vehicle, but it kinda works.
The low-effort option is using metal/alloy + strength 10 shields. It's not gonna be enough against the more powerful laser vehicles, but it'll do alright and has the added benefit of shields reflecting roughly 30% of incoming shells.
The best defense you can mount is heavy armour + ringshields + smoke. The combination of HA and ringshields will give you very high AC and copious amounts of smoke can reduce a laser's AP by around 80%. This will decrease laser damage a lot. Just make sure such a vehicle isn't moving too fast since speed reduces the effectiveness of smoke.
That's about all there's to say about it.
@@OhmIsFutile maybe just a gen defense tutorial then to add more content. There is nothing out there that covers shields, smokers, munition warner, etc. Just even running through how to them up.
