Thank you Marna! I'd like to make a Blythe one sometime too... I started drafting a new pattern using this dress form and it's a lot of fun pinning the fabric directly in place! Thanks for watching ^_^
Most welcome 😊 Yes! I want to try a Blythe one too sometime - I've started using this one to draft a new clothes pattern, and it's such fun to use! Thanks for watching Alexandra! ^_^
This is such a great idea and although I have no intention of making one for any of my dolls it was lovely to see you make yours. It's great to watch talented people making things. Also loved the lighting you used at the end, such great colours.
Awww thank you March! I feel the same way about so much of what I watch too 😁 I’m glad you noticed that! I got some colour gels for my studio lights after feeling jealous of our funky coloured living room lights 😂 having fun with them already 💡
I will definitely be making one of these! Would it be helpful to line the pieces with a lightweight interfacing to help minimize stretching/misshaping when stuffing?
I dont have a smart doll but I have other 60cm dolls. I just bought this pattern and a couple of others and Im excited to try them! New sub. Great video!
Aaaaah! I’m so excited to try this out! I just got a new sewing machine and it hasn’t been christened yet. This is the perfect project for it! I’m also waiting on a new pressing mat and a couple other things, but yiiiisss! I’m really excited about the dimpling technique (is that a soft sculpture thing? I took a class 10+ years ago on stuffed animal making but we never covered real soft sculpture techniques) to get the size/shape you want. 🤩 I am learning so many useful things from your channel and I’m burning to try them! I’m possibly looking forward to this more than vacation, heh.
Yaaaayy! I’m so glad you’re gonna try this out, and on your new machine! 🤩 Yes I saw that kind of dimpling/shaping used when I was learning to make Waldorf dolls, it just felt like the right thing to use to add more detail to my mannequins 😊 it makes me so happy to hear that my videos are getting you excited to make things, I’d love to see pictures once you’ve made yours! ✨🪡🧵✨
Hi! I was wondering if i could sell dress forms made by your pattern on my etsy shop when i get it set uo or instagram with credit to you for the pattern??? I wasnt sure so i wanted to ask
love the dressform but for the hard of hearing viewers is it possiblefor you to remove the music as it makes it difficult to hear your voice. youtube subtitles are terrible and not accurate. Love your doll content though. thank you
Hi Lisa! Thank you. I'm sorry you found the music too loud in this video, hopefully you'll find our more recent videos have the volume set a good bit lower. I do add the English subtitles myself, and they should match what I'm saying exactly, although I can't be responsible for what UA-cam does afterwards if it's creating translations. Can you give me any more detail in which way they're not accurate? Thanks! ^_^
Excellent crafting these Mannequin's. :D
Thank you Briana! ✨😊✨

I so want to do this for my Smarties! I am actually in the process to use a Bootstrap custom dress form pattern for my dress form.
