India don't have the IPR of su30mki's, they just produce it locally under license. And the super sukhoi program is same as Russia's upgradation of su30sm to su30sm2, but the upgrade of Indian su30mki's will be done by indegeniously developed avionics, equipments and subsystems of India. So 9th spot is fair to consider it.

Some of the Avionics like "duel colour missile approach warning system,next generation electronic warfare suit, upgraded radar warning receiver and DRDO's new self protection pod etc are already integrated in some units and are undergoing testings...A larger varient of Uttam AESA radar with nearly 1300TR modules is also under fabrication by LRDE and will be tested soon..... Remaining subsystems are under advanced stages of their development and will be integrated soon...

You got some of the figures for Gripen E wrong. Currently, there are 60 Gripen E on order for Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) and 36 for the FAB (Brazilian Air Force). Of the 36 Brazilian Gripen E and F, approximately 15 (!?) will be manufactured locally by Embraer. First batch will be delivered in 2021.
Fun fact: Part of the development of the aircraft (last stages) has been done together with the two customers, Flygvapnet and FAB. I believe this is a "first time", at least for SAAB.

SAAB already has a history of partnership with the FAB. The ER-99, an Airborne Early Warning and Control, was a successful example. There are other cases

The Gripen Design and Development Network (GDDN) was inaugurated in November 2016, which was an important milestone for the Brazilian Gripen Programme, since the centre is the hub for technology transfer and development of the fighters in Brazil.
Saab Aeronáutica Montagens (SAM), Saab's Aerostructures plant in Brazil has completed the production of its first aerostructure for the Gripen E/F in November 2020. SAM is the first and only Saab plant for Gripen outside of Sweden. As a key partner in the Brazilian Gripen programme, SAM is responsible for the manufacture of 72 tail cones, where 36 will be for the Brazilian Gripen E/F fighters. The tail cone for Gripen E is the first aerostructures to be produced at SAM. The plant will also follow up with the production of Gripen's aerodynamic brakes, wing casket, and rear fuselage and front fuselage.

She forgot to mention it has a new fly by wire system similar to the likes of the f-35. I wonder how she’ll dance in the sky now. That system lets the f-35 do some impressive stuff with only one engine

@@power3480 Sort of. But note the airframe received some reinforcements (the C/D versions had a 9.000hs service life while the EXs have 20.000hs according to manufaturer), but no significant aerodynamic modifications.

Now it's time to shed the arms merchandising x-gen fighter nonsense and get down to real capabilities. What's the difference between a 1980s F-16, and a new 21st century F-16? Aside from massive differences in radar and electronics? The new F-16, has a lot more energy to use in combat, and doesn't have light his afterburner to go supersonic. That is, of course just for starters.
The F35 is a good/ok fighter with all the bells and whistles but it has crappy areodynamics that induce a lot of drag. The issue I see is it is maxed out at high transonic speed to maintain range. The need for climate controlled hangers and a minimum 8000 foot runway is an issue. The fuel consumption is very high and its loadout is limited. The cost and time to upgrade systems is long, expensive and proprietary. There are still over 800 unresolved issues with it. I think having all allies fly the same aircraft makes it more interoperable but also means any fault is locked in. I think for Canada it is a bad choice to have all eggs in the F35 basket. The future of air combat is not going towards better piloted aircraft. UCAVs are the future and the key system for winnng with those is data links. The F35 has great situational awareness but that is not exclusive to that platform. The Gripen E model has similar capability and more computing power. When/if energy weapons are efficient enough for aircraft, the power requirements will need to be designed into the engine. The F135 engine is a start down that road but is not there yet. The quick upgrades and faster computers in the Gripen in concert with the excellent Ericsson links meet those relay/quarterback roles. Canada has a great pool of engineers and scientists to draw on if we ever had local prodution of airframes to put those winning links and computers on. Canada should be building UCAVs of its own design and mate it with either choice the F35 being one choice, the Gripen being the other. In the intrim however we really don't need a bomber we need an interceptor. The F35 likes to tout the AWAC capability which would be more valuable outside Canada's very well equiped northern sensors especially with the new radar in Clear Alaska...Canada has specific needs that both aircraft meet to varying degrees. IMHO the Gripen is a better fit for that role. For foriegn adventures with our interventionist neighbours the F35 is better...
