Way to go! Just a consideration... have you ever tried the Kongsheng Mars 1 plastic comb (like nylon strings on a guitar) or the Mars 2 aluminum comb? (like steel strings) The most comfortable harps I know of, with round holds and the curved comb sits deeper into your mouth for more tone, and I feel more control of the sound. You might like the difference. :)
Hey there, great cover of one of my favourite harmonica songs of all time! On a sidenote, keep rocking in Konstantin Reinfelds challenges, it's always nice to listen to you submissions
Whoa, cool, thanks ! 😎 The challenges are really fun, I'm always curious to hear what the other players come up with. 😄 It's fascinating, because everyone creates something completely different for the same challenge. Also keep up the good work, you're doing very well ! 👍
Seelien: Another fantastic video and what a great cover of Indiara Sfair! You are a natural talent and I look forward to seeing more of your UA-cam videos! Cheers!
Hahaha, no, on the internet ! 😂 A lot of great harmonica players make really good videos and online tutorials. That's how I started. 😊 Thanks and greetz !
For this one, Indiara also made a video with tab and backing track. You can find it on YT. But I think you learn a lot more by just listening to it and trying to play the right notes. :)
I'm not an expert in harmonica types, models and brands. 😊 I usually play Hohner Special 20 and Rocket. These are also the types I started on, and I still like them. I think they're suitable for beginners. But there are also a lot of people who start on a Hohner Golden Melody, Marine Band, or other brands like Seydel or Lee Oskar, or else. Most people first buy a harmonica in the key of C, because it's easier to learn everything. I started on an A, though. 🙈
Oh, such a shame, I didn’t know! My video is recorded a long time ago, I don’t have the track anymore, sorry! Hopefully, the issues with the channel are fixed quickly, so that you have the track at your disposal again. 👍
Very nice playing. The only critique I have, and it's a very small one, around 20 seconds to 30 seconds or so the flow was just a tiny bit stilted. I don't play this one though. I'd have to put in quite a bit of practice on it to play it as well as you did. Earned a subscribe. :)
Haha, thank you, and thanks for the comment and advice ! And yes, there are many things I still need to do better. 👍 But I see it as a journey. It's something that's constantly evolving. Where were you a year ago and where are you now? I actually make mistakes in all my videos and I leave it that way. 🙃 I want them to be real and not necessarily perfect. 🙈😂 As long as we enjoy what we do ! 😊
@@seelien_ That's the perfect approach. :) I hang out on the different harp forums a lot, and people are often asking for advice. It's made my brain focus on those little things and sometimes it's hard to switch back into 'just enjoy the performance' mode when I get to the comment section. I did enjoy it though. :)
Thanks ! In this video the hand gestures and thus the resulting sound are indeed subtle. 😊 But I totally disagree with the above statement in general. I think hand gestures are important and often make the difference. ✌
@@seelien_ "Hand gestures are an affectation. And on the harmonica brought to a pinnacle by Larry Adler.. the king of attention getting moves. I started playing harmonica 41 years ago and love it when someone takes the time to post a video. You made the kind of comment that would make people not want to post a video. I checked your channel and you have no videos. Sorry, what I'm trying to say in a nutshell is I hope you are not the "Asshole" that your comment would indicate that you are. Good Day.
You are wonderful 🎉🎉🎉
Legend says you can only play this song sitting down on the floor. Great cover ❤
😂😁 It wasn’t on purpose, but now you mention it.. 🙈 Thanks a lot! 😊

Thanks a lot! 😊 No, never tried one of those before. Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely check that out! 👍
If you do, they have round holds that sit deeper into your mouth for tone. Only issues I've had with 25 purchased is minor gapping.

Hohner Special 20 key of G
@@seelien_ could you give me a G harmonica as a gift? 😅
Wow it's amazing .where do you get the notes ?

I am planning to buy harmonica. Which harmonica will be best for absolute beginners?
Diatonica in C

hello seelien. Indiara Sfair's UA-cam channel has been hacked. no more way to have the backingtrack. maybe you could send it to me. THANKS. philippe

@@nacoran What harp forums do you hang out on?
Proof that hand gestures make no difference in the sound emitted. Yo Yo Mah Syndrome. Otherwise good.

Well, that was great, except for that note around 44 seconds, to around 48 seconds, that note sucked, big time.
Thanks for the well-reasoned advice 🤔😂
