Can't wait till the video comes out in 2 weeks which shows the 2ft of snow coming right now.
That is what we are supposed to get also, 3” so far.
It’s gonna be great 😂
@@kurt3543 they definitely didn't get the forecast very right
6-12 was forecast for us. We got 2.
@@jessenelson6823 So far we got about 6 - out east of St. Cloud.
Love when Erik & Chet are working together, just like old times before extra help! Good to see Mrs. Larson, she looks like a sweet Grandma!
Thanks guys always nice to see Grandma out and about and keeping Dougo on his toes always put up field ready LOL
Between you and Millennial farmer, you are both the reason we got snow again. I'm running a Case 721b plowing school lots.
Love this channel. Today is my husband Eric's 6 year heart transplant Anniversary ❤❤❤
Congratulations to your husband! Sending prayers for many years of good health!
Thanks for another great video.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Hi to Grandma Larson. She is such a nice lady. Parts runner today. Thanks.
Got both the rock pickers going and working. One needed some maintenance but ready to go now.
Like the way you and Brody fixed those shields over the hoses on the grain cart. Good going. Nice work on that. Mud won’t bother the hoses now.
Brody and Jordan cleaning equipment up. They do a great job at that. My clean!!!!!!!!
About it for now. Thanks for everything Chet. You all take good and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
It was nice seeing Grandma
I’m sorry but I’m giggling cause y’all were taking off the snow blower and I just watched the forecast and Minnesota is supposed to get hammered with snow. You just can’t script this stuff!!! 🤣
Now we just need Chris back!
Still better than anything on TV. Nice intro btw.
Look forward every day to your vids. And I’m not even a farmer! lol. The way you all get along and have such amazing work ethic is rare. Thanks Chet. 😊
That hay buster rock picker is an oldie but a goodie. They make one now with double wings and a hammer mill that crushes the rocks.
Good to see Chet making shaw the wheels don't come of the struggle bus ❤😂😂😊
Brass punches for bearing races are the best. Great job for whoever sent them to you!!!
You have a hydraulic press to press in bearings, use it.
The foreshadowing of the “gonna regret unhooking the snowblower” 😂 Looks like ya’ll got some snow up there!!! 👀 I am in Omaha and thankfully just rain here. Be safe!!!
March 25th here and we got 12 inches or so in west central Wisconsin.
Chet Eric Dougo Broodie that was great really enjoyed it thank you for sharing and your time was really great explanations that yellow rock picker is a great asset ask Dougo.
Yea the spring rock are starting to bloom again got to get them picked
You are right about it biting you, the weather report I saw showed a massive Snowstorm up your way this week
The quality of your guy's videos are 10 out of 10.
They are saying 7-10" of snow here just south of Minneapolis with the outer areas expected to see more. Got to love MN springs! It was 70 here like 2 weeks ago.
I want an update on Eric's smile. Looks good from what I can tell.
Always a great day when Larson's post
Take the old race and grind it down a bit so it won't get stuck, makes the best bearing driver.
Yay! The saga of the rock picker is always my favorite!
Brody really should open a detailing shop
Love the section where Chet is just starting to "precision install" the new outer bearing with the mallet, and The Big Swede, looks over Chet's shoulder to raise his eyes to the roof, then starts to do exactly the same, then switches to the brass drift. Timeless Larson Farms. I presume you spoke to Millennial Farmer before putting away the snow blower. Wouldn't know about snow here in UK. Thanks for the education.
Don’t be surprised with the warm Spring, the weather is always centered around when Easter is and it is the earliest it can be this year, get ready to plant!!
Dougo speaks wisdom. It should be feild ready before it gets parked. Chet I hope the big Swede greaes tge rest of the machine. I can't believe those hubs didn't have zerks installed at the factory.
if you warm the hub up with a torch the bearings will drop right in, the way you're doing it damages the bearings, the races are soft except for the surface the rollers run on so when you hit them with a hammer it deforms the race which doesn't help bearing lifr at all.
Some shops keep an old over around to heat things up I have seen!!
I like to cut a slot in the old race with the grinder then use it as a drift to install the new one. The slot allows for a little bit of compression and it will lift out easy.
Put the new bearing cones in the freezer overnight helps as well
Time to get outside!
right after this blizzard ...
If you don’t have a race installer, use the old race on top of the new one too start it, less change of dinging up the new one.🤷♂️
You guys really need a good parts washer!
Awesome video Chet, I'm thinking Eric is the emotional support animal, or is he just a animal? 🤣
🚜🚜🚜
Great work Gents. You do need to check out McMaster Carr for your bearings. You can save a ton of $$. The bearings are not chineseium either, all name brand.
Larson Farm videos are always excellent, lots of sarcastically funny commentary. Wondering if you changed methods, it looks like you upped your video quality to 4K.
I worked on pipeline I was foreman we used shult the were very good and we had a rock rake I really helped us did not have to do as many trips with it and put them in a line for us 😊
we could use an update on Eric's braces. Are they working? Braces on adults can be a double-edged sword. I know, I lost a tooth because of dental appliances when I was in my 20's.
5:10… as it’s snowing right now… but it’s not like it’s not snowblowing snow
Dougo it’s called the Haybuster 3106 that’s the update.
I'm glad the weather was nice enough in early March to send Grandma out on a parts run.
Get the snow thrower back on kids.....lol
Grandma the mith the legend keeps ‘‘em parts
A bearing press set with a press for even pressure on insertion and removal.
$200+ just to pick rocks, then fuel, labor etc, got to love farmin
Nice shots and cool music change up!!
Very nice and clean editing at the beginning where they are cutting 👍👍
Real life farming videos great ones to watch
Just an advise to ajust the wheel bearing, is good for almost anywheel, apply 50 feet pound of torque to the nut while turning the wheel, then loose it half turn and just turn the wheel again and handtight the nut and lock it.
Loving the music at beginning while you were cutting 👍👌
I have been watching for this video to drop all morning!
Great maintenance saver with the zerk in the hub. Put your race in the freezer and heat the hub with hot water. Goes together really easy. I bet Acme Tool has a dandy set of wheel nut sockets. Much easier than Channel loc pliers.
I’ve done that on motorcycle engines
Hello Grandma. You guys are hilarious 😂
Hay here in northern Aroostook county Maine presque isle Sunday we got 18 inches of snow
Great stuff guys
Steel King/Hammerblow jack I may have built that Jack!
Take about good timing. Take the snowblower off in a video the day it's gonna snow enough to need it back on the tractor 🤣. At least I'm on the northern edge of the storm so I won't get as much as you will
Lol. Next video. Putting the snowblowe back on.
Now you can have “Dualing Rock Pickers”.
Dang y’all got seal worms and grease mites up there too!
You 2 are like a couple of clowns at the fair. I love it.
Maybe call Brodie "Mr Clean" from now on.😉
You called that screwing yourself over for snow lol
Thanks, now I can do my trailer axles.
You guy do such a great job. Cool video 👍❤️
Chet and Aric are certainly very funny to watch 😂
Still haven't seen a Gear Wrench flex head pry bar in that shop boys. No I'm not gonna send you one but WYKYK😮
You are should be using a socket to put those seals in
I think this is the first video I've seen without the intro video attached.
Seems like the original cart design should include those shields. Great video.
I know you didn't show it but i hope you packed the bearings with grease before assembly and did not rely on pumping the grease into the hub
Kept wondering what BS stood for figured it wasn't what you'd think 😂 then it came to me BIg swede😂
Off-road track systems all have some kind of scraper to get the mud off or out of the tracks.
My headset was bangin.
Both you and the millennial farmer take the snowblower off and now it’s a snowstorm 😂.
As usual great videos, keep them coming.
Happy snow days
great video guys
M grandpa bought new blades for his 15 ft rhino batwing. He went and ordered them from the local dealership because they where the best price. 800 dollars for 3 sets of blades and some hardware. When my grandma saw that bill she was like bob what the hell did you buy this time. He said blades for the bushhog. She said why. He said because their 20 years old and needed replaced 5 years ago lol
hammering bearings into place gets it done but on the other hand causes premature bearing failure
Always grease "AFTER " you pressure wash!! You push any water 💧 you pushed in from the pressure washer..
Fancy, over the weekend, editing. Nice. 😜
You need to invest in a bearing race punch .
Absolutely, and it's made of steel. Never use any copper, aluminum punches on bearings. A chip can get in, unseen, and get into the new bearings.
Is snowing today.
Lucky you (and me) may only get 6 inches. Hope yours is powdery (mines wet)
(Never trust forecast relayed from a kid hoping for a snow day (hopefully is only 6). Someone else to get more than you and I.
Full send on the wheel bearing!!! 😂 needle grease and go!!!!
Brodie and Chet, were you two "Plumbers" in another life? hahahahaha
another great video!
To paraphrase a line from Jurassic Park "Mud will find a way."
Chet, hopefully it was edited out, on the final determination of the proper bearing pre load with the nut. From our view it was too tight and will cause early retirement of the bearings due to too much pre load. love your videos .
I love the smell of 80/90 as well!!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHET 😊
Anywhere away from chip would be a favorite spot
Maybe your bearings blow out coz you hammer the races in with a forged sledge hammer 😂 jeeez
I was taught that you don't use brass to pound your bearing races into hubs. Mild steel best.
Dude!!! the new music is awesome! play it some more🤙
Got your money out of those bearings!!
Chet where is the 2098 brent grain cart the black one
Ready to rock and roll
I wish you guys would talk and work at the same time lol
I know you said in the past but what are the flash lights you guys carry. Seems like the are good and bright everyday care lights.
We have the link on our website larsonfarmsmn.com
Got triggered by the plasma torch running along the $300 Stabila
Chet. I really like the music and video montages. Keep um coming
