Naw, joy can only speak for himself as an american about the shoes on the bed thing. Most Americans don’t do that either. We think it’s disrespectful and unsanitary to do that, especially if you think about doing that at someone else’s house. A good chunk of us don’t wear shoes in the house either. We either have house slippers, wear socks or walk around barefoot in the house.
I'm in college now, but when growing up, I wasn't allowed to wear shoes in the house. I usually wore my socks or slippers. And when I went to any of my friend's houses, we usually took off our shoes at the door too. Out of all the friends I had, there was one that didn't take off their shoes at the door. She took them off in her room, but she never put them on the bed. I’m from South Carolina.
Joy is certainly not just speaking for himself, i know hundreds of americans and every single one wears shoes inside the house and quite a few don't see anything wrong with wearing shoes on their beds. One of them told me that he does it so he's fully dressed ready for work in the morning and the only thing he has to do is do his hair before leaving the house. Perhaps if you are american but from another background e.g. chinese, japanese etc you may not do it.
Seungwoo can literally instantly brighten up the entire room with his presence...his smile is so heart melting 💜thank you awesome world for constantly making us happy and our days better!🥰 lots of love from India🇮🇳💜💜
Joy and Seungwoo are adorable. They radiate such I have know you for the longest time vibe. I think this entire bunch is such a mood! I have been enjoying these four together in a video so much ❤️
First you reel me in with the hilarious woman that is Suji, and now you add Joy who is just absolute magic! You're not playing fair, AW! haha Oh, and though I'm only Italian-AMERICAN(totally different culture. Please don't come at me true Italians), I can attest to the use of a long list of profane hand gestures. Becks
No one is mfamily wear shoes in the house, I wear slippers due to having heel spurs and the slippers are never worn outside,I’m from Vermont and none of my family members that live down south wear shoes inside either.
As an American we live in a huge country with many different areas. I live in the Midwest - Southeast MI - Detroit area. I live in a diverse city with different ethnicities. Black, White, Asian, Latino on my one street. I do not know anyone that wears their shoes in the house, let alone on the bed. There may be people here who do, but I don't know any, and I know a lot of people. 🤷🏽♀
I live in South Carolina and I never knew not having shoes on in the house was a thing. It was always an option for me and other people whether we wanted our shoes on or not. I only had one instance where a lady wanted my shoes off and that was with a carpet floor. The other times there weren't any carpet floors. Even if there were carpet floors there was always an option to have your shoes on or off. Also, we have mats in front of the door to wipe our shoes. Most of the time used when it's raining.
Oh wow, I'm from South Carolina as well. I didn't know it was common to wear shoes in the house. I thought it was the opposite😂😂 Growing up there was only one friend I had that didn't take their shoes off at the door. She took them off in her room though. The only people that didn't have to take their shoes off were elderly people. Similarly to the lady you mentioned, it was because most people I knew had carpet. For some reason, a lot of houses where I live have carpet😂
short size is available at Starbucks in the US (most if not all)! You need to order in person as it’s not on the app and they don’t advertise it but it’s honestly a normal size cup of coffee in Italy
I’m an American and I never wear my shoes in my bed! I wear house shoes to and that doesn’t go in the bed either. Such a fun video, laughed a lot with everyone. Thank you for sharing with us all, have a good weekend.
I loved this episode! 😆 and I'm team Hoseung for defending Chicago-style pizza! 🤣🤗 There are a ton of amazing deep dish & thin crust options here. A must try for anyone that comes to visit. 💕
when u're in a hurry and u got inside elevator..doors are closing..BUT WAIT, someone just HAS TO GET INSIDE STILL. and it'll take forever for the doors to close again and elevator to move ._. and u miss ur metro...
Wait, I'm sorry Joy. LOL All Americans do not put their shoes on the bed. My family would kill me if I put my shoes on the couch or the bed. lol 🤣I felt like such an old person at McDonald's in Korea when I tried to order at the counter and they guy came from behind the counter to force me to use the kiosk. I was like "can't you just take my order? I only want fries." lol
I feel like the thing about wearing shoes inside should only apply to guest, not the home owners. However, if people are visiting you might look crazy if your barefoot or wearing socks, so slippers is the way to go. I’m honestly 50/50 on shoes inside the house thing. Also, I think your shouldn’t ever put ur dirty shoes on furniture because of the dust. And either way you shouldn’t put your feet up it’s disrespectful (for both). The only reason I say only guest should wear shoes is because of dirty/smelly sticky feet/socks, to me it’s disgusting and only the homeowners are allowed to do it.
In Jamaica one thing that gets to all of us is when some Jamaicans cant speak proper English but try and end up mixing it with Patois, its called "Twanging" and we laugh at locals for it cause they just need to stick to one cause either way we'll undertstand.
shoes in the house😩 to me that seems absurd, we don't do that in Canada. I have not met a single Canadian who does it but I know plenty of Americans that do, from many different states. but I've heard these days some families are not doing it so I think its becoming more popular to take your shoes off but it clearly still happens pretty frequently.
Just want to say that the vast majority of Americans do not wear shoes on the bed. About half dont wear shoes in the house at all. I absolutely hate it when people wear shoes in the house. It really upsets me if workers come over and they stomp around in their dirty work boots and my relatives wear shoes in their house so when they come over they wear shoes in my house too. I hate it. I usually walk around bare foot in my house and if i am in someone elses house i walk around in socks.
Given that Chicago was for decades known as "The second largest Polish city in the world" due to the very high percentage of Poles and people of Polish descent who live there, one could easily argue that "Chicago Pizza" and "Polish Pizza" are one and the same ;-)
The first hand sign the fingers together mean something different in different countries. For example, in Israel, it meant wait a second. But in Eugypt it means something else.
Pineapple Pizza: Hated Ketchup Spaghetti: Loved I'm sorry, what? Also, it's totally a West Coast thing to wear your shoes indoors and on your bed. You take your shoes off at the door.
The shoes thing I don't know if it's just because I watch a lot of asian related shows since i was a kid but right when I go to the door I love to take off my shoes. It makes perfect sense to me why the heck would I want to get the floor dirty when I just came from outside so many different things will get on my shoe.
As an American, I Never heard anyone having shoes on a bed or any furniture for that matter. Actually don't know people or family who wear shoes in the house. This may be regional or city folks ?
Most Americans would be upset with shoes on the bed I think. I don't know anyone who would do that except maybe in college dorms because there isn't a place to sit.
😂😂In most African houses you would take off your shoes before entering the living room, so I can't even imagine putting it on the bed, my mom will freak out
I would not be liked in Korea, I stop randomly while talking and just make a weird hand gesture to finish😹 my 🧠 disconnects and makes that 🖥️ rebooting noise, it's not personal! My mom on the other hand will start a conversation about something completely out of context, like she has the first half of the convo in her mind and then the second half out loud and you're left wondering what in the world she's even talking about!! We're the only ones who speak each other's language and translate for each other to everyone else😅
It might be because I’m Korean American but I’d rather die than wear shoes in my bed or in the house in general, slippers forever 😂 Another thing which is kinda ironic is I can barely handle pepper so Korean foods are like an inferno to me 😂
as a new yorker I can tell you Chicago pizza thick New York pizza thin pineapple pizza was invented in Canada not New York or Hawaii. I have house slippers and don't sleep in shoes.
@@ajamzmom4882 I agree with the fact that a game you're not allowed to touch the ball with your feet being named football in America makes absolutely no sense and where i live has lots of different people from all over with lots of different backgrounds, so our store has a isle dedicated to Hispanic food and isle dedicated to Asian foods and 100 percent have made and eaten prepackaged curry before some good some bad lol and can also tell you what they say about not driving in the city and traffic being baaad is VERY TRUE
I'm from S California and my parents are from Mexico, so futbol is soccer in our house. My dad played, my uncles, my cousin and I played futbol, so I was brought up calling soccer futbol. My dad has always called American football, futbol Americano. I didn't know the difference until we had to play flag football in middle school ( that's grade 7 and 8), so I was 12 when I found out in the USA it's football 🏈 and soccer ⚽️ 🤡. I've had Japanese, Thai, and Indian curry. Haven't tried Korean curry. All were delicious 😋. Don't even get me started on the traffic out here. Rush hour 1 to 2 hrs to drive 25 miles is ridiculous. 🙄
Pineapple is amazing. I can eat a kilo of it (no joke). Pizza is one of my favorite foods ever. Pineapple on pizza though? No sir.🤣 But I don’t get mad if I see it lol And yeah, my mom would get so mad if we put our shoes on the bed (like most westerners would)…it’s just not done in most homes but shoes are worn indoors a lot of the time if they don’t look dirty.

Right? Cuz I'm like "who's we? We is too many people". I, personally, have never met anybody what wear or places shoes on any furniture
I don’t like shoes in the house either and I have to constantly get onto my husband for wearing shoes in the house 💀

Omg Joy really did the "disgursting shattt" meme! LMAO!
The laugh of Seungwoo makes me so happy and make me laugh too hahahah !!!!!!
Maybe it's a Southern US thing, but if anyone wears shoes in my house, let alone THE BED, they are getting a lecture lol
Same.
Lmao as a southerner I second that
No one is mfamily wear shoes in the house, I wear slippers due to having heel spurs and the slippers are never worn outside,I’m from Vermont and none of my family members that live down south wear shoes inside either.
I don't know anyone that wear shoes on the bed...this is not American like. Not a good portrayal either.
As an American we live in a huge country with many different areas. I live in the Midwest - Southeast MI - Detroit area. I live in a diverse city with different ethnicities. It actually is on the app it just depends on the drink. There is no short size for iced drinks. Just most hot drinks.
Great chemistry! Love this combination of reactors!
8:34 Fútbol and American Football, she’s right. Not soccer!
Seungwoo is giga based for saying Detroit style pizza is his favorite
As a Italian watch it boy don't cross the line

this was really funnyyyy
also as an American I hate wearing shoes when I don’t have to I would just wear socks constantly if given the opportunity
7:28 my friends do that a lot and I'm like if you're not gonna finish then why did you start in the first place 😂

Dear lord! The shoe thing again! I have never, nor have I've seen any homes I've been in that leave their shoes on. Who the heck does that? Lol

Happy Easter from Poland!

In Norway or Sweden we do not wear shoes in the house, imagine all the dirt and germs comming in youre house 🤢.
Yes, Chicago style pizza is the best!!
Polish people always put ketchup on their pizza
not always rather tomato and garlic sauce
No.
it's football in the GB because they use there feet to play the game. We have a game like American football it's called rugby.
It was fun episod
shoes around the house is one thing... shoes on the BED is a totally different thing... no no no.
I don't know if people know. But if you come to India, there isn't any one curry dish. There's every variety out there.
Oh my god the shoooooes... *pain in polish*

Me too. I grew up in California, and it drives me crazy when people talk slowly or don't finish their sentence. Then they ask me if I'm listening 🙄
Hawaiian pizza is from Canada not the US.
Aniyo! I totally hate pineapple pizza!
The worst two items, Ketchup on anything or Pineapple on a pizza.

I don’t like Hawaiian pizza either 🤢
Not sure if you know that Hawaiian pizza is from Canada not the Us, the Canada chef who invented it used brand of pineapple called Hawaiian pineapple.
