Fast review of Yamaha TRB John Patitucci 2 6 string bass. Recorded directly through roland go mixer. This comes with the original strings while the bass was new 3 years ago!
When I found out that John switched from Ken Smith to Yamaha, I couldn't understand why. But the more I listen to his signature Yamaha, I get it! I've always been a huge fan of the Ken Smith tone but the JP2 is an outstanding bass!!! For the money, it's hard to get the quality that the JP2 has.
Hi! Do you still have/play this bass? I’m considering buying one but I’m afraid because I also have relatively small hands. Just wondering if you found it playable.
Its a great bass & great playing i love the sound i order mine now from bass direct uk, is these the original strings set that come with it ? Or you put other strings they sound amazing ? Please answer me i want to know very important, thanks & great video & playing we made me bought it now

This thing is so huge, it'd look normal sized in Shaq's hands

Yes, I prefer JP1 though, more flexible pre than the JP2, I sold the JP2.
@@RamaNatan Really? I didn't know that! How is the JP1 more flexible?

Amazing bass ! Do you find it difficult to play due to its scale length and huge fingerboard?
at first yes due to my small hands

Sold it long time ago, it's a great bass, just a bit overwhelming with the 35 scale 19 mm and flatradius board 26 frets :)
How you connect Mic to Roland go mixer ?
Crash89 just connect your mic to mic input in Go Mixer, simple

Da bass is nice, but I don't like the tuners which look like human teeth.
