i watch you guys video reaction a lot not all but a lot... and i have question... pls answer me ma bro... i never see you tears in all anime have episode or sad moment ... now tell what moment or what anime make you tears come out just want to know😂😂
Does it matter if he could pull the sword out? I feel like most viewers hoping Stark would pull the sword have the exact same thinking as the people who said Himmel did. Just like with Himmel being unable to do it, Stark not even trying makes for a better story for me (especially considering the insecurities we see Stark has).
Some people are saying the reason why Stark didn't try is because he realised it doesn't matter. Actually, it's more because he didn't even think of himself as a hero. He always thought of himself as the coward because he blamed himself for running away, even though it was his brother who told him to run. Also, the scene where Frieren paused on the ring? That pays off so well in my favourite episode.
Apparently 'hero' is a job/role in Japanese RPG. You know, the things like Mage, Warrior, Archer, etc. Hero is it's own job/role. And Stark is not a hero, he's a warrior. Just like Aisen. So no, he wouldn't even think about trying to lift the sword.
Himmel's voice acting is just fantastic. The voice cracks and you can hear that this has left him shocked too. What he speaks afterwords kinda feels like he is assuring himself too and makes him feel more human. He sets himself a new goal to prove that even without the sword he is the hero
Fern thinks everyone is a pervert and everything is dirty. This is probably because she was raised by a priest. I'd also like to believe that Heiter was like an over-protective father who was constantly telling Fern to never trust boys because they're all perverted.
I mean it's funny because the one who constantly think like that is definitely the most pervert of them all. I mean look at Stark who never thinks about stuffs that way because Eisen never really care about it anyway. So I would say it's the opposite. What the heck did you teach her you corrupt priest!!!

The potion is actually a call-back to Episode 3. It's one of the frivolous things that Fern recalls Frieren buying. She also tell her to return it, then.
My favorite part of that scene is the moment when they're leaving and Stark looks at the sword, then leaves without even trying to pull it out of the stone. Because Himmel killed the demon king, it's as if the fact that he couldn't draw the sword discredited the sword rather than him.
Nah, it simply wasn't the time for the Hero's sword to be pulled out. It's purpose is to defead "a calamity, hellbent on destroying the workl", and the Demon King doesn't fit the description.
The fact that Stark doesn't smile at the end is so great. Even though he realizes that he had been given presents and there were people that did care about him, it's an unpleasant connection for him to make.
Stark remembers himself a coward running away but he was absolutely ready to die with everyone else in that flashback, thank goodness his brother told him to flee.
19:03 Stark don't need to try to pull the sword. What everyone is missing is that Himmel proved the sword is the fake one and not him by becoming the real hero. It's just a weapon stuck in a stone, nothing more.
After knowing Himmel and Heiter are childhood friends, it made the earlier episode much sadder. Heiter was probably still in grief, up until he meets Fern
i wonder why every reactors first thought when seeing that scene is "stark is gonna pull it?" i mean, when i was watching this episode for the first time that thought never even crossed my mind... i mean Stark is aloof, a strong loveable goofball, he doesn't have any ideas of grandeur or heroism, he doesn't have any big plans about going around killing big baddies to save the world... all he wants to do is have a fun journey and go back to his master and share stories with him.
Hola, hi, thanks , I am really grateful to see not only one, but to ppl that enjoy good stories, I hope both of you are all right, you make me smile and shed a lot of tears
Fern did not allow Stark to carry Frieren because since he had the axe on his back he would have had to carry her in his arms in the "ohime sama dako" aka the princess carry... A way in which you carry your beloved one... one of the romantic tropes in anime... (the bride carry when they get home in american older tv)... So Fern said.. NAH... not happening...
I believe the hero's sword is supposed to be pulled by the real hero when "the great calamity bent on destroying the world" happens. It's just that the demon king is not that calamity, and the time has not come.
@@mentholnewport Himmel didn't prove it untrue. Remnants of the Demon King's Army (including some of his strongest soldiers) are still alive. And they have great plans.
@@moelester3758 This means genuinely nothing. Himmel DID prove it fake by saving the world. The archery wasn't "kill every single evil thing on earth" it was to defeat the demon king and save the world. Which Himmel did. He proved it's fake. He says it himself.
@@mentholnewport Now you are making up headcanon. Himmel only said that if he could defeat the DK, it wouldn't matter if HE's fake or not, nothing about the sword/prophecy being fake itself. And the prophecy also wasn't about "defeating the DK" it just says "a great calamity" which apparently even the DK was not. The Monument of the Goddess Arc and Tot's existence just gave a big hint towards that fact. You not accepting it doesn't matter.
@@moelester3758 No I'm not. Himmel proved that the prophecy is false. The hero who would save the world is the only one who can pull the sword from the stone. Himmel WAS the hero to save the world. Maybe there is/was a chosen one at one point. But Himmel filled that role already without prophecy saying so. This isn't headcanon. It is quite literally EXACTLY what Himmel himself says.
The part about Himmel not being able to pull out the real sword is basically implying that the ‘calamity’ that will destroy the world is NOT the demon king since the party of heroes already got rid of him. So there is another looming threat out there even bigger than the demon king, and whoever manages to pull out the sword will be that war’s hero.
I'll never understand why everyone assumes the legend is true. For me that scene always meant that Himmel proved that the sword is the fake one and not him by becoming the real hero. And that's why Stark never tried to pull it, he understands it's just a weapon stuck in a stone, nothing more
@@neretilderem7029 tbh we don't know enough about the legend to determine if it's real or not. It can be dismissed as a fake prophecy like you said since the Demon king was defeated by Himmel's party. On the other hand it can be true since there's a village dedicated to protecting it. There could be another stronger demon king or maybe a corrupted human/elf/dwarf can be the great disaster since we can see how strong they can get. Who knows?
@@neretilderem7029 It's fiction, so the author probably wouldn't introduce a prophecy if there was nothing to it. That being said, twists are common, and the prophecy never mentions the demon king...

Episode 12 classic, Himmel being the GOAT incarnated and Stark's backstory kicking my feels.

He wouldn't have. He was frozen with fear. This motivates his current fearlessness.
