Strangely enough, when someone at my screening asked the director what influenced him the most for this film, he said it was Super Mario Galaxy, not even an open world game like breath of the wild or anything lol

Anytime someone tries to even insinuate that a Looney Tunes film wouldn’t work, I can point at this film as proof of their completely lack of ambitious or imaginative thought.
A Looney Tunes film can easily work if you allow characters to die. If you don’t, then it's hard to have stakes.

This is a quintessential Dad Movie in the best of ways
I work at an indie theater in ny, so I got to see this for free. My friend and I sat in the front row, and I laughed through the entire thing. This movie is a master class in escalating a joke
Even though nearly everyone who watches this video will watch the movie on streaming services, seeing Hundreds of Beavers with a packed house at my local indie theater was one of my favorite big screen experiences post pandemic.
I saw it yesterday night, and I am still high on all that laughter in the room. I had forgotten how glorious that high is.
How many beavers are there? Because of the fact that Schaff there are more than 6, I conclude there are uhh around 12 beavers idk.

I saw this on its roadshow tour and it's seriously worth watching any way you can. Extremely creative and hilarious. Video game enthusiasts will recognize a lot of "game" logic in the gags and overall story structure
I watched this with friends on Discord and I was not prepared to laugh as hard as I did. I knew it would be ridiculous, but I was caught off guard at how masterful the classic cartoony comedy was. It was impressively well-made with what they had and I commend Mike and Ryland for pulling it off.

I saw this at IFC a few months ago and it was genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched, they even had Ryland come out at the end (clearly drunk, but in a good mood) and wrestle a bunch of people in beaver costumes. So happy you’re making more people aware of this masterpiece!

I saw this movie at the 2023 Omaha Film Festival and got to talk with one of the filmmakers. I cannot believe the amount of work they must have put into the making of this absurdly fun movie.

I had the pleasure of seeing this in an independent theater. At the end of the screening, I was laughing so hard I literally could not stand up
The title is amazing and very intriguing. It’s also a setup and punchline in one. Dare I say, it’s a perfect title.

@@supperwolf indeed. It’s not like it needs to be localized. It’s a digital product, that doesn’t need to be dubbed, and which I can just watch with English subtitles. It’s really annoying there is no legal way to be able to watch it.

I can't wait to sit dow with friends and watch them :) As thanks I come with a recommendation: Sam Raimi's "Crimewave" (1985)- lesser known movie that needs to be seen by more people. It fits into the "live action cartoon" category perfectly and it just absolute insanity from start to finish in the best way
When I saw Letterboxd themselves sing the praises of this film in their Watchlist This column (for under-the-radar releases) I knew this movie was gonna be special. Haven't seen it yet but I hope to soon!
Also since this premiered at a festival in 2022 but went into wide release in 2024, this is eligible for 2024 Year in Review lists.
