Absolutely love our X7. We took delivery in Jan of 2022, fully optioned it out, the m50i version. Cargo space is not a concern for us and we prefer the reduced length, it drives like our X5 before with no noticeable size upgrade. We are in Arizona and don’t have the reflective issue from the crystal but also tinted the windows so that resolves that issue. I hate the new front end they went to so actually think the grill with the laser lights looks really good! The only really gripe we had was tire life on the M50i is terrible and this because they are outfitted with summer traction with low tire tread wear. I think this is common with heavy suvs but we bought new wheels and sized them so we could do a better treat live tire. The tires it came with lasted 7500 miles of moderate driving and the others we were at 18,000 miles with plenty of tire left before my wife ran over a rzr blade or something that tore the tire beyond repair. For those on the fence, x7 is an incredible car. After almost 3 year my wife still is excited with that new car feel every time she gets in the car. It has plenty of power as well and looks so much better than the Tesla so I wouldn’t really compare it to that car especially when one of the gripes was storage for long drives, even the EV crowd doesn’t like the EVs for long travel.

I have a 2020 x7 and I love the car. It’s comfortable and powerful and have no serious issues in terms of reliability. It does make pretty prism rainbows but can be annoying. I just wear sunglasses and it doesn’t bother me.
