I am in Edinburgh and this is inspiring me to get out sketching more xxx I haven’t been doing that despite planning to, and it always makes me so happy when I do.
Fine liners make me feel the same way. I've just not use them. I see people do amazing work with them but I just can't. As you've said, they make me feel strange. Love your sketchbook as always.
Loved going through this sketch book with you. "Breathing room" -- I see it and feel it. I like that you put down color and then sketch. Do you ever want to cut a page out of your sketch book and frame it?
Loved seeing bits of Edinburgh through your eyes. I need to go out sketching in the old town a bit more! I laughed out loud when you tried to work out the name of the cross near St Giles. It is the Mercat cross (Scots for market cross) and absolutely nothing to do with Meerkats! 😂
Oh I thoroughly enjoyed that video! I was born in Edinburgh and know it well, so I could really relate to your experience there. Fabulous sketches throughout. I feel particularly inspired to make a more concerted effort to put down watercolour shapes first, then add pencil/pen. Thank you so much for sharing 🤗
The way you paint and sketch is such a fun inspiration! Travel journals are such a wonderful memorial.
Many thanks, Tammy-travelled a lot this year

I can totally appreciate fine liners, but they just not for me as the line is awkward

Always a treat watch your sketchbooks Ohn Mar 😍 what beautiful memories you got there!
Corfu was one of the most relaxing holidays I've had in ages.
Tremendously insightful to see how your sketching progressively gained more confidence, you should most definitely sketch more people. Stupendous!
that's really kind of you to say. People studies are something that I'm very keen to do.
amazing work!

I am becoming more and more mindful of leaving LOTS of white space around my sketches
