For someone struggling to start a sketchbook habit, I’d say begin with small, manageable goals, like sketching for just 5-10 minutes a day. Focus on the process rather than the outcome, and don’t be afraid to make ‘messy’ pages. Over time, you’ll find your rhythm and confidence growing. Most importantly, be kind to yourself. Your journey is wonderful. Did you have a background, a kind of education in drawing? I love the things you do. You can draw simple things but also more dificult. Im wondering if I can improve as autodidact.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I did go to university to study illustration, but we were never taught how to use watercolor-it’s something I learned on my own over time. You absolutely can improve as an autodidact! Practice, patience, and enjoying the process can take you far.

Jelly: Made with strained fruit juice, resulting in a smooth, clear consistency with no visible fruit pieces.
