Lesson with terry edmonds that cures all your problems
Hes one of the best distance casters who teaches carp anglers to cast 👍
Tc of the rod maybe to stiff for your frame i used to have century 3.5tc but found 3.25 were better for me i could cast 30 yards further instantly because i could compress them 👍
Didn’t look like you were as confident with the 13ft rods as looked Like you gave your casts more effort and shifting of weight to front foot on the 12footers.
Stamp your right foot down and pull left hand in with momentum after. Keep right arm stiff. You'll do 40+ wraps immediately.
Left rod, 4 wraps out..... melted
@@chappy0690 😂 snide in the side
Certainly would be interested in leader vs non leader, especially as many fisheries have banned leaders. Keep up the good work. 👍
You mean tapered line Vs leader or say 15lb Vs 10lb with leader? 👍
12lb with leader(most fisheries seem to be min. 12 lb line) vs 15lb straight through. 👍
Hi, how are you finding the Freespirit Helicals? I'm looking at the 12ft 3.5s or possibly the new kaizen greens
Hearing bad things about the Kaizen Green?
They look beautifull rods the freespirit ive got 6ft sawmoffs for my syndicate fishing baitboat out under overhanging willows etc and i have 10ft rods and 13ft rods and if i go to a big water where its distance casting and the 13ft rods are required it feels alien at first as it may be a year since i last used them even the feel of a 13ft rod compared to a 12ft is strange but the benefits are 100% there my mate can hit 50 wraps as though its normal with his if u stick with them u will get a good feel for them and benefit from them a lesson on technique is a great idea get the fundementals right and u are ready to go cheers tightlines
Yep lesson will be on the cards once I find the right person 👌 I'm definitely seeing myself moving away from the 12ft for everything and going to 10ft under 100yrds/ smaller venues or 13ft for distance. 👍 Hope your good 🤘
try pb mono excellent casting line
I used it years ago when I was with pb and really hated it in the end 🤣 it casts well as it's super thin but I got cut off so many times using it I had to stop. But each to there own I know a lot love it I just found it to be far to weak at the time for the places I tend to fish.
I use the 24lb pb mono and fish some proper snaggy and rocky waters, never been cut off with it, best line I've used in over 30yrs of carp fishing.
