I am 57, near 58... This Canadian group that was introduced to me in a particular time in my life by my daughter Malika became an icon in the list of my favourites group. And the list is long...!
54 here and I LUV THEM! Best new group to come out in a long time. It's nice to see/hear a super unique sound, not to mention ALL that talent in this band. Bucket list concert for me ... so much goin on on that stage!
Discovered them at 49 while living in Ontario in 2006-07. Saw them live in Chicago in 2011 with the National (great show!). Love all the albums, but think Reflektor may be the best. Afterlife resonates..."when love is gone, where do you go/where did it go?"
Afterlife is a great song. Its obvious that a lot of thought goes into this bands music and so great to see that there still is hope for todays music. Id love to see all those people who are against this try form a band and develop an original sound themselves like this band did. Good luck buddies x o x
I usually only listen to punk and metal but thought I'd watch this to see what the big deal was with this band. I can't really get into the music but this concert does look like it was fun to attend. It is cool to see people dancing to the music instead of like punching each other like I'm more used to.
They truly are one of the greats. Nobody but Grateful Dead & Phish compare to their level of energy output, every performance. It's a beautiful stimulation to experience and it puzzles me how few have really connected with it. Less than ½ million views, seriously?
ThankYou for posting! This is so very Great. The Band & Backing Musicians/Dancers & Subject Matter are Real & Meaningful! The Audience is receptively Great & Fun also.

I SO can't wait to see these guys in March!! I wish it was a smaller venue, but I'm sure they'll make it a great experience despite being in an arena. SO. FREAKING. STOKED!!!
I will see them for the first time in March too!! First time for me and yes, STOKED AS HELL!! The first time I heard some of their stuff, I was like "naa" but the more I listen it just crawls into my head and does something to me!! Its really awesome and they are awesome musicians as well!
Minneapolis. It's the me t one on the tour. Gonna be fun though cuz I live in Phoenix, AZ, but have family there, so it's well worth the travel expense :D
I love this Canadian Band since they were in Austin City Limits Austin TX they made it and all the bands they want to make it they come to Austin first like The black keys is good opportunity to come to Austin TX same for a lot of britts bands they come to Austin too like Arcade Fire they became popular after ACL(Austin City Limits)Arcade Fire I love them it makes me feel like dancing all the time well done guys you are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
For the best AF performances ever watch READING 2007, 2010 and MADISON Square Garden 2010,same tour. I watch both quite often. I have a current addiction to the pre Reflektor songs.
After watching the first three songs, it's obvious this was a badass show. I saw them in The Woodlands last week. It was great, but this one sounds a little more polished.
I swear I saw this for the first time through you tube March 2021. In December 2020 is when the jealous stalker ( the most jealous one) started trying to deflect my attention away from you again. She had the redhead with the glasses hiding behind the 4th wall ( and my Federal Ave apt) psyche stalking the whole time. I NEVER FORGOT, I thought u forgot about me. I never sent those weird text messages in August 2012. We have had no clear communication since. I love you right now and ALLWAYS
The audience, in masks and costume, provided their own spectacle, adding to a concert that was classy, awesome in every way, except for the annoying ad blurbs in between the songs.
why the hell the stage is so f... high???!! i wasn't there but i think it is too bad to be so far way from your public (painful for everybody's neck:-) and seems a bit "mégalo" to me... great band though...
+Joochloe Imbault There's definitely a point to it. Besides being cool I think it is meant to be the anonymity of it. So instead of everyone paying attention to the band, the audience is paying attention to each other. Just a reflektor.....
Beatles and U2 both gave top of building concerts. Maybe their promoter or manager thought AF should stake a claim to greatness. I do love Reflektor, along with their earlier work, so no complaints here, but I'm not sure it fits their usual egalitarian vibe.
In the darkness I dream in light, I dream of the corners of heaven and what I’ve seen what heaven is like I know that upon my arrival my Grandfather & Harold Hendricks are the first people I’m going greet Later on, I'll go swimming in Glendale Pool again, And I’ll put on my favorite Asics running shoes, and pound out ten miles to whatever golf course Dad’s playing that day, whilst Mom is shopping with Betty Weikle, and going to a restaurant and then a movie they’ve been planning to see….and its time to go and look for her, Oh my, my, when she walks on by its hard not to get lost in the view, of all the girls I’ve loved she’s the best, she’s the one til the all the dreamings done, Its hard to tell if loves a lie, when it comes out of the blue…
I'm not sure how I feel about them being so high up that people can't really seem them. I know the Beatles did it, too....I am sure I would have loved being there...but still....it's just so weird....
it's because Regine puts her whole being into her performance, what I noticed about them is that the live shows are so good because the whole band is dancing the entire time, they are so into it, which the crowd feeds off of
Well, they aren't "classically" great voices. Such as Bob Dylan or Kurt Cobain. However, I think Win has a really great voice when he chooses to utilize it to its full extent.
***** What? Kurt Cobain didn't have a classically great voice. I think Win has a really strong voice and he does great live. Regine, I agree, she doesn't have a strong voice, but she's not a bad singer at all.

Look how many are in that band. They gotta spread that money around. Guess they're satisfied to not make as much. Fuking epic tho eh? Nirvana- 3 members- so much money- fucking epic!
Amazing performance, the stage however was a bit to exaggerated I would have made it maybe 4.5 or 5 feet tall not 15 feet tall imagine the neck strain on the crowd.

Oh man I wish I could see them live, Arcade Fire is amazing!
Regine nailed Haiti! Enjoyed both her singing and body expression!
The tribute to Lou Reed at the end of Supersymmetry is fucking incredible
One of the best modern bands of today!
I wonder if Win said to Régine, "We could make beautiful music together". If he did, he sure was right.

that is one seriously high stage..... wow
Afterlife is a great song. Its obvious that a lot of thought goes into this bands music and so great to see that there still is hope for todays music. August 30th, can you please come sooner!
The only downside to this concert it that they didn't play "Wake Up". But nonetheless, these guys sure know how to put on a spectacular show!

The audience, in masks and costume, provided their own spectacle, adding to a concert that was classy, awesome in every way, except for the annoying ad blurbs in between the songs.

Hah look how pumped people get when they play songs from Funeral.
I hope the band coming soon to -CH-

The story of Orpheus and Eurydice is so sad...and also 'Oh Orpheus!'...
Its so fun that it still on debate, some say "Oh" some say "Hey"
I say its "Heoy" xD
ApexCactus
On the album, it says 'Hey'...... mystery solved! :D
Supergroup living in the moment. Regine is super cute

this is weird yeah i checked and sometimes it says oh orpheus and sometimes it's hey orpheus
What if they fucking fell off stage... Then... All hope in humanity would be.... Lost....
Regine isn't a good singer, and Win isn't great. They are my favourite band by far.
So true! Yet they are still sooo good! That just speaks volumes for the quality of their music. Def my favorite band too.

what the hell why would you make a stage so tall
Yo los vi en vivo y no se escucha igual, pues esto no suena tan bien :/
Great filming skills overcame the very strange stage and weak sound mix. Seriously, come down to earth and visit your audience.
Amazing performance, the stage however was a bit to exaggerated I would have made it maybe 4.5 or 5 feet tall not 15 feet tall imagine the neck strain on the crowd.
no Joan of Arc. I am disappoint.
I know! So sad...
wow that stage set up fuckin sucks...
