In theory - I love this, especially if I’m designing for other people. But if I want to go and make changes, I’d still have to have an active webflow ecom account AND shopify. In the longterm, it’s seems costly. Beautiful site potential, but an almost unnecessary cost
Hi there.. if you use the custom attributes then yes the themes are customisable using the Shopify theme customiser. So things like text, images, links, menu’s, metafields, collection items per page, what collection and theme settings (I.e colours, meta details etc) are all configurable on Shopify. If you make a significant design change or add a new section (for example) then that happens in Webflow and you need to install the new theme. Tried this with a few webflow ecommerce templates but when uploading the config file to Udesly's app - it says some fields aren't configured properly and won't let me create the Shopify theme.
Thanks for a great video, simple to use, the only issue is tried with the Luma Webflow free template and some of the pages didn't come through such as the 'About' page, any ideas of where I've gone wrong - once I know the issue I will probably use this for ongoing projects!

can you add products and skus through shopify once it's uploaded? do you have to re-export the zip and theme on webflow to shopify every time you make an update?
For the theme customization you do it on webflow and repeat the process. But once you done it, you can now add/delete products on the shopify store itself.
You need a regular website paid plan to access the "download code" functionality. In webflow you are only designing the pages and that’s the code you export.

All content of my template was replaced by a text similar to this: "translation missing: en.tn73c98836". What am I missing? Btw, when I generated my config file, it did not give me a collection file, just the config one.

Not necessarily, you'd essentially cancel your webflow subscription after downloading the zip file

No. You can use the Webflow Lite plan to do everything you need for the conversion

Ho Antony, try disable the translation from the Udesly App settings tab. You'll got the data file after the conversion directly from the app.
