Juice Shack is a great name! You need a lemonade sign for it😆. I really like what you did with those boards and you big blowtorch. I understand it really help to preserve the wood. Hope you and yours are safe from that storm!
The Array looks Awesome. You were smart making two separate frames not only for the beauty. It will be easier to maintain your panels and the shear weight of a double panel might have more issues during inclement weather. What kind of Timber Oil are you guys using? Good show guys, see you on the next one. 👍
@@OutpostReview Cabot is a good product. Like that you added for extra UV. I have been using Woodrich Timber Oil for a few years now. Got everone a crazy discount if $189 per five gallons delivered to your house. And all can be mixed to make your own custom colors. Your stain looks very close to what we are doing also. Use code TGTF if you want to try them out.
I would. But like I said I don’t want to crack the panels. So snug enough to hold but loose enough for some movement. My toe board will keep them on the rack.
I checked the description section and it’s still there. I thought maybe it had been removed. There you can find several links to different aspects of the channels. “Smoky Mountain Outpost.”

We like the way wood turns out when we do that. So far just a lot of rain with a little wind. Take care
Awesome, everything is coming along fine
Thanks Irene. Have a good week

Cabot Australian Timber Oil. It has linseed and tong oil both (any color) and added iron oxide for UV.

Are you going to put rubber washers under the metal ones?
Haven’t seen that done but is an idea.
I would bend those washers in the middle before you mount them so when you tighten them they will straighten and clamp way better.

Isn’t that original.
Very cost effective building the aray yourself
We saved some
I hope you have those far enough apart so you do not get a shadow on the row behind
We did a mock up build before digging holes
The house of the Angry Pixies.

I was wondering why you didn’t pour concrete in the holes to keep your posts above the ground ? Anyways I hope you have a safe and bless day !!!!!! 🤓
Also painting the pipe outside black really looks good…. so much better than leaving it white ….
I figured poring it in the hole with the post would be the same. The addition of roofing cement on them should extend the life a lot
If it was all one panel, you would have windage/“sail” problems.
Yes, it wouldn’t work
