What is your take on push mowers?

We love push mowers! It's a great tool because the grass clippings that are left behind are actually one of the best fertilizers for your lawn! We recommend keeping your grass to about 3-4 inches long. With this length, your lawn will be more heat tolerant, less susceptible to insect/disease damage, and it assists in controlling weeds!

Can you share the link for soil testing? Maybe one in Boulder country.

Hello! There is one at CSU in Fort Collins, their link is agsci.colostate.edu/soiltestinglab/ However, there are some local business in Boulder that could test it, such as the Lawn Doctor www.lawndoctor.com/longmont-co/soil-testing/

Hi! Today’s date is 10/19/22. I live here in Northglenn, Colorado and was preparing my lawn today to Over-seed if tomorrow or Friday, but wondering if it is now too late in the Fall to do it? Can you please tell me you think it is too late, and if so what would be the best time come Spring time to do it? You’re response would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!

      Hello!
We don't recommend seeding at this time of the year. It is best to seed in the spring when you can see other people's yards start to break dormancy. This means whenever your neighbor's grass starts to green up again. This typically occurs around mid to late April or May, depending on the weather.

@@FossilCreekNursery Following speaking with a local Gardener I ended up over seeding last weekend along with laying down Organic compost / manure prior to the seed, and have been watering twice daily and will do so for a couple more weeks. Hoping for a good outcome....
