Hey there! Welcome to Bookables! My name is Heather and you haven't already guessed it...I love books! I love reviewing & discussing books & just talking about them in general! I try to have new videos up every Monday, Wednesday & Friday!
So go ahead & hit that subscribe button! It would make my day (no seriously, it really would!)
Thank you all for watching & have an amazing day!!
Totally agree with you on Dark Places Heather. I can’t handle reading about animal cruelty and that book was super depressing. I read to escape, be entertained, to learn, and hopefully feel uplifted.
right?! it was so hard to read!
I’m glad you are feeling better and I hope that the rest of the family continues to feel better!
thank you we are thankfully!
I can not, will not, read books that include animal cruelty!! They should be required to put that upfront as a trigger, in my opinion. Thank you for the warning on this one, Heather!
I agree on that!
I wholeheartedly agree about the audiobook of The Favorites. It's such an immersive experience!
right?!
I’m glad you’re feeling better! I read more books than I expected in January which was nice. I’m slowly dwindling down all the books on my bookshelf and really trying not to read any new releases until I finish what I have. I don’t read Tessa Bailey much anymore but I have been invested in the characters for that series so I might check it out in the future.
I totally get it
I just added The Favorited to my TBR list! Definitely going to do the audiobook! Thanks for the rec!
hope you enjoy it!
I’m glad you’re feeling better. I had a rough November with sickness. So I know how reading falls on the back burner.
right? so tough!
Great reading month for you! I'm sorry you and the family were so sick, I have a girlfriend who had the exact same - three things at once and it went through the whole house! I am currently listening to The Blond Identity and loving it plus reading The Seven Year Slip so my reading so far in February is awesome! Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it this morning. Cheers
gah it was rough! winter is the worst!
9 bookd is amazing! I read 2 books and 2 manga so a bit of a slow start but I can feel myself getting back into a reading mood here in February. :)
yes you got this!
I read 9 books as well. I am almost done with my reread of Iron Flame. Excited to move on to book three. 💜💜💜
me as well!!
That is so nice Sarah Adams states where the spicy section is. I still haven’t read it yet and I hope to read it for Valentines Day. I wish more romance books would label if it is spicy or not. They could post it in the back or even inside the book.
Yes I agree I love that she did that!
@@Bookables I finished the book last weekend. I loved it. It was so cute and sweet. I love her books.
I also read The Favorites last month and was obsessed!!!
yesss same!
January. The longest month of the year. Glad you are feeling better!! My autistic 8 year old is the only one who hasn’t been sick when the rest of the house did get sick! Wish we all had his immune system 😊😊❤❤❤
right? Usually my son also has an amazing immune system but when he get its he gets it bad
Ally Carter has written a Heist series in the past. I believe it’s YA but I remember it being good.
ooooh I might have to check it out!
Hope everyone in your house is feeling better. Great job finishing books on your 25:in 25 list.🎉
thank you we are!
Nice reading month! I also read Beautiful Ugly but I gave it four stars.
glad you enjoyed it!
Congratulations 🥳 what an awesome achievement, especially with what you’ve been through.I managed one short story
aw thank you!
I don't know what your religious views are but there is a Christian author I like named Ted Dekker. He writes alot of Christian mysteries that are very dark but very entertaining. I never can predict the plot!
oh I will have to check him out!
