Great job on this video! I never understood why power switches were labeled with a stupid "1" and a "0" but you made me have an "OH!!! DUH!!" moment. Electrical Engineers putting a 1 or 0 on a power switch makes SO MUCH SENSE now! lol.

I totally understand you, I have dyscalculia and imagine me with the numbers in IP addresses... Since sometimes I confuse numbers and I think I'm writing a 1 but my hand writes or fingers press a 7, is a pain in the butt to check numbers, mostly when I'm setting commands in CLI.
The first time I was able to pop a super nice subnet just by this method without any mistake with numbers, I almost cried haha.
OMG this just cleared ALL of my confusion!

Most trainers from Myanmar make this theory more complicated than really it is. Thank you very much for your support. I learnt about this program for two years in 2006(16 years ago) but we all trainees did not get understanding about only basic binary to decimal conversion even though we all used the same local language. I felt it was because the trainers were unqualified. Now I have basic understanding about how the binary work from only watching your this video for only one day. You are amazing teacher in my life.
I learnt about this in Diploma in Computer Study course in 2006 in Myanmar but the trainers were complicated by themselves and they were unable to teach the students to have a better understanding . Now I have a chance to learn about this again and started it yesterday as I am not good enough to move forward. Again the trainers do not find the easy way to guide even though they have a Ph.D in their hand.

My God or Jesus,the past few weeks I have been struggling to learn binary I couldn't do It, my professor didn't have the patient to sit with me and teach me, you know how these college instructors and professors are, they just printing their dam checks, when you ask them a question, they tell you go to book, Thank you very much NexGen T, very simple and clean explanation. shame on most of those instructors and professors teaching in the colleges, they will not teach you, because they want feel important. thank you NexGen t.

Very well done; I wish I had these videos in 1996! Back then, the 3COM paper _Understanding IP Addressing_ was incredibly useful in helping me wrap my head around IP addressing. It was well-written, and in plain old English, too, which was great. The contents are still relevant today, actually. Easy to find online. Check it out!
