      Bethany Balady Haha I had to :) that's what most people want to see ☺️ I've tried ebay ones, Aussie dream girls extensions and a few others, the Medusa ones by far have been my favourite, haven't lost any yet and they are so over due to come out 😂

    that looks great. nice brick lay install and thickness! If you want to grow your hair out without chemicals you should consider mixing some jet black (also by adore) with the platinum to make a slightly darker gray for a shadow root. Mix up the color, apply to the regrowth and then smudge it down unevenly with your fingers or a tint brush into the the gray parts. It will look fabulous :-)

    Kirstie, now you have darker hair, do you think you could do a updated video on how to apply tape ins? I’ve got very dark brown hair and I find it soooo hard to see anything when I’m applying dark extensions to DARK hair! 😩😩 It’s really a nightmare. I had my mom do it the last time, but she hates it, haha.

    Hi Kirstie, great video, thank you for posting! I have a quick question-- I'm not a hair stylist, I even have trouble blow-drying my own hair sometimes, but, I love the look of the tape-in hair extensions! My question is whether you think it is doable for someone with little to no hair styling experience to put these in themselves, or is that more likely to just be a huge mess? Also, I would probably be using different tape in hair extensions-- does that make a huge difference? Any insight/suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

    • @KirstieRoche
      @KirstieRoche  7 років тому

      Maggie Guzman Hey ! I'm not a hair dresser or anything too and I do it just fine, the placement is most important and also not sticking them too close to the scalp so they can easily flip up and down. The quality of the hair and tape really does make a huge difference. If your looking at getting cheap eBay ones or something, the hair might not be very good quality. Or last very long. You can always get a friend to help you apply them, get them to watch a few videos on UA-cam so they have a rough idea.

    • @maggieguzman2705
      @maggieguzman2705 7 років тому

      Oh no, I would definitely still get excellent quality hair, I've learned my lesson using low quality extensions! It's just that the company you recommended, Medusa Hair Extensions, is out of my color and so the extensions are on back order. Thank you so much for responding!

    So with tape in extensions can I wash them with the shampoo and conditioner I normally use? I got my hair cut short and it's very unflattering so I want to order some extensions but I am using Bosley Shampoo and Nioxin Conditioner to help speed up my hair growth and I was wondering if that shampoo and conditioner will hurt the extensions. Thanks! Your hair looks so good and natural even with the extensions! ❤️

      MaketheMusicFasion you won't be able to use those products , you need something that is safe on extensions xx

    I wish you could do an updated video with it slower for the top part of your hair. How did you get it so natural-looking? I just put some tape ins in on my sides after watching your tutorial, but am afraid to do it on top.
    Btw, I love your tutorials and style, and your accent! Thank you for not talking like a teenager, which I find most You Tube makeup gurus do if they are under thirty! Also, you don't speak rapidly, which is another plus.

    when you let the extensions air dry, are they pretty straight or have more of a body wave to them?

      How did you get some of them lavender? I know you used a toner for the silver, but what about the lavender ones? If you said it, I apologize.

    • @KirstieRoche
      @KirstieRoche  7 років тому

      liselle sloan It’s from
      That bottle of toner I show, it’s like a deep purple super thick shampoo consistency, if you leave it in too lime and your super blonde then the colour comes it like that lol. I prefer it better when it washes out a bit, but I’ve been a warm blonde for ages now,

    I just had tape ins put in. love them. however I could only do a low ponytail. when you pull your hair to a top pony are you flipping up the tape ins? technically the tape are straight and your pulling your pony hair up at an angle. do you know what I mean?

    • @KirstieRoche
      @KirstieRoche  7 років тому +1

      Sue Schultz Tip your head upside down to make a high pony tail :) the tapes should be able to freely flip up and down. Yeah they aren't going to be on the exact perfect angle for the ponytail but it works. I don't see why you can't 😊

    Just wondering how long you've worn tape in extensions. Have you experienced any damage? Do you ever go for any length of time without them? I've worn them for 3 years, and my stylist is recommending I take a break from them. He's not seeing any damage, but believes they may be stressing my hair after 3 years. I REALLY hate the idea of being without them! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

    • @KirstieRoche
      @KirstieRoche  7 років тому

      Lori Michrina I always try to have them out for a little bit each time, it's nice to be able to use different hair products and give it a good wash :) My hair is quite damaged so I do get a bit of breakage, no harm in having them out for a month or two between each application 😘

  • @katieclark963

    I'm confused because on all the other videos they sandwich their own hair in between the two tapes which is best plz?

    • @KirstieRoche
      @KirstieRoche  2 роки тому

      I personally find this way the easiest. And the tape sticks itself to as much hair as it needs, the other method would be hard to do on yourself.
