Legendlore Reviews: EZD6, A TTRPG of Fast, Fantasy Mayhem

Hello and welcome my friends and viewers to this week’s episode of Legendlore, where we draw and talk about monsters, characters, gods, and a variety of cool TTRPG systems.
This week, I’m going to be introducing you guys to an excellent system I’ve just recently picked up called EZD6, a fast-paced fantasy mayhem game created by DM Scotty and published by Runehammer Games.
This video is mainly going to cover the primary mechanics of the game, some overviews of what it has to offer and how my experiences have been in terms of running it.

EZD6 is a masterstroke of simplicity that anyone can plug into without the time sink of rules referencing or embarrassment of forgetting nearly all of your class features 😅

I think that complicated rules are one of the biggest hurdles to get into RPG; so I will definitely check it out.

Heya! Good review overall, though the armor and miraculous save mechanics sounded a little off - after you've taken a hit (usually a 3+ on a monster attack) you need to roll equal to or over your armor save number to avoid damage. For miraculous saves you also need to roll equal to or over the number.

I loved playing EZD6, It's so easy to get right into it and go. You can lean in to tropes and "go big" without the number crunching and complexity that are a drag in some other games.
The Advantage Cards available for the game allow you to have a "level up" feel but with the same easy, fast and fun mechanics of the core game. The adventure book which was produced is a a good read and helps in understanding the structuring of adventures in the game.
There is already post apocalyptic setting book and a 3rd party 60's Spy Action themed book.
Like everything I have bought from Runehammer, it gets down to core awesomeness when it comes to playing and having fun.
If you are doing requests., please do something on Pirate Borg or Cy-Borg.

When converting big box rpg players, you have to explain with any NuOSR of OSR game; that the answer is not on your character sheet. You have to think outside the box. However I do undterstand your assement if that was not laid out and or the players are not creative thinking players.
