- Kubo is god-like when it comes to designing characters man. Can't really think of too many mangaka better than him when it comes to that.
#bleach #ichigokurosaki #characterdesign #titekubo
just let Kubo make his own fashion line already
do we call it bleach or Shinigami?
I think he kinda already did
I'll be buying
@@Everythingz127 He already has.
Actually, Kubo mentions that if he didn't actually became a mangaka, he would either work as a architecture(which he mentions his work on Las Noches building structures) and fashion(which obviously shows alot of goddamn drip).
Bleach has my favorite art style across all manga.
Completely understandable, Kubo makes some of the best art that I've seen in manga
The art style is what got me interested but all the other great things kept me watching
Mine is vagabond, possibly best art style in all the mangas
@@abackbencher6351 that just so happens to be my second favorite
Not my favorite anime but bruh Art style, character designs love it.
I swear Bleach has well over 100 characters and each one of them has their unique personality traits and character design. There are very little few shonen that have managed to do something like this
This is facts!!!!
Even if simple, characters like Ichigo still has their own personality,no cap
personality in terms of design language yes, but in terms of writing i would be surprised if you could name more than 5 that arent 1dimensional and boring
@@zenbozic6184 tbh there are some
They simply aren't complex, but still interesting
@@zenbozic6184 Which characters are 1 dimensional and boring for you? Because I don't find any Bleach character in particular boring or generic.
His ability to change a character from🤓 to 🗿 with aizen is goddly
Bro when you put the emoji, you make it more funny
Fr, bro took off his glasses, slick his hair back and became a whole different person
You're right. What first made me attracted towards Bleach was how cool the characters look and the anime felt.
Agreed
Same
Bleach might have my favorite art style
Yea its like top 3-5 for me
@@BrokenRonin who is the no.1
@@daiblo.dshadow Sui Ishida is my personal favorite manga artist, he made Tokyo Ghoul
I don't know how Kubo managed to make them wear the exact same uniform and still able to keep their personalities that it looked different on each person. I'm amazed 👏👏👏
He's a genius really. it all feels like the same uniform, but because they all wear it differently (based on their personality) not a single uniform looks the same. Like you can literally grab any two characters and they won't have the same exact uniform (maybe except the grunts)
The character design is the best part of the whole series, kubo's character designs are amazing and I want more.
Kubo is extremely saucy with his character design. Truly unparalleled when it comes to the depth of his talent
I find bleachs design soothing to the eye
Beacuse Kubo the author of bleach wanted or was a fashion designer before writing bleach. His character designs, the clothes are always top notch.
The design has inspired a lot of other series now, like Jujutsu Kaisen, Blue Lock, etc.
Long live bleach legacy 💪
Facts goyo looks like ichigo with white hair and kakashi style lol itadori too looks like ichigo.
And Demon Slayer
@@blacky8987Kunigami is basically ichigo
@@blacky8987i wouldn't say that. How can itadori and gojo look like ichigo and not look like each other? Ichigo doesn't look like either of them, the kakashi style comparison is kinda valid tho.
Me when kubo hits us with the drip drawings he sometimes does
A Good amount of Ichigo's design also go in tandem with his Development
Bleach is a manga but it has a way of looking like a comic it's hard to believe one guy drew this and made it look so cool
Those color front pages 🔥🔥🔥
The fact that the range of Kubo's fashion style for each characters in bleach is very amazing and memorable to readers. And they all have their own leitmotif. Like soul reaper's shihakusho from traditional Japan . Ishida's almost like a priest , and quincy basically style as soldier overall. And loyal fans can see the changes in his artwork as Kubo's style become more matured, high quality followed by Ichigo's character and bleach tone as a whole
Bro got the Drip 🍷🗿
truly a masterpiece
Kubo is the king of drip hands down.
Even the new Bleach TYBW Opening 2 has entirely new clothing designs just for the opening
Kubo is a whole ass fashion designer no shit
Kubo will forever be one of the goats for designing Rangiku
Kubos love of streetwear in art is something I adore. The opening of Cour 2 speaks to this perfectly. It looks like all those art pieces we used to get, and it's full of ifyky moments.
Espadas Designs are Goated 🔥👑
I also love how the Soul Reapers, Hollows, and Quincies each have their own uniforms, but each member of each organization has their own little differences in them to show their personalities
but gotta say, the og style was really suitable for the intro arc. perfection 🔥
Ginjo- Ha you need more to kill me.
Ichigo- oh, thats wasn't getsuga it was a Slash!! But I won't miss again😂😂😂😂
I will never stop saying this: Bleach CREATED the drip.
Mayuri is my second favourite character, but his drip is second to none.
If you can truly understand how he design the skill name & character name you will be even more impressed.
This is Kubo's way of showing/explaining stuff
His manga has emotions in it, it feels alive
Well, that is what i feel when reading the manga
Agreed. Bleach characters are like the high fashion of Manga characters
Kubo is actually highly fashionable he's inspired bye modern and new fashions n he brings that out in his art
You’re gosh dang right it is
God i love this manga❤
He doesn't have awkward designs , everythings cool
There are so many characters and abilities I often forget some of them
For me bleach had the peak of character designs they all look so badass the espadas . If dbz keep his 80s still dbs could be one the best things but they try to mimic jojos and one piece now.
Kubo is great. He’s one of the mangaka that makes every character unique
I love the arancar arc specially their design ....kinda inspired with brutalism & a bit of new mexico, plus empty shells.
People recognising a masterpiece
Kubo's stated love for fashion also plays into his designs
And he did 80% of these in black and white designs.
What's super interesting about this is the way that Kubo makes new characters for his story first he comes up with a character design and then he makes a personality around that character design
Kubo's also got one hell of a brilliant sense of *Composition:* using perspective, lighting & colour in truly genius ways to show the inner selves of the characters. Just take a closer look at Ichigo's typical side-eye in the image above. (You could teach an entire Art Class from just this image..!)
Itchigo's side-eye look is both arrogant & a little contemptuous (after all, not putting your complete attention on your opponent during a potential fight is pretty risky - especially if you don't have their measure), but at the same time, he's not particularly belligerent (like Kenpachi), either. Don't attack him, anyone under his protection - or (especially) threaten his friends & he'll generally be ok with letting you go...
His face is (quite literally) half in shadow & half in the light, making him capable of both - but his eye is on the line...
He's still got his youthful, shaggy, punky, hair [⊛] (implying that he's not a rigid follower of the rules), while the fitted uniform & formal stance, emphasises he's still capable of discipline when he wants to be...
All of this is done in a single throw-away panel, with minimal background or dialog to interfere.
[ Incidentally, Kubo also hides Easter-Eggs for other artists in his art, by referencing extremely famous & influencial artworks by old European Masters, 1960s Modern Artists Disney & (of course) other famous Mangaka. ]
⊛ Also check out how Kubo uses hairstyles alone to show personality in his characters. How many charachers could you instantly recognise in silhouette?
Bleach is my biggest inspiration to draw manga and make art in general
Kubo has some sort of power tbh, he can make the most simple looking character look hot asf
not to mention it has the best pace. everything that happened in the canon arcs matters. no bs canon arcs that feel like a sidequest.
The best art style for a character in manga in my opinion 🙌🏻 his colour pages 😮💨 🤌🏻
Agreed, haven't read or watched the show but I am looking forward to it
People saying Bleach ain’t a part of the Big 3 is absurd. Tons of manga currently in Shonen Jump are inspired by the edgy tone, stylish art, and concepts from Bleach. Some examples include: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, My Hero Academia, Noragami and more.
Zaraki is one of the BEST designed characters of the century
bleach drippiest anime
It’s very good Bleach’s style and Fashion rival’s JoJo’s
Kubo 100% is the king of style when it comes to character design and PURE drip.
Bleach is the drippiest of anime
Love you videos bro also love that we both like bleach
Aye I appreciate that alot thank you. Should be getting even more Bleach content soon as well 👍
Ulquiorra my favorite design in anime
i like how when Ichigo goes bankai (before TYBW) his outfit gets more slim, as Ichigo is said to like his clothes to be slim fitting
I also love how Ichigo’s classic design is instantly recognizable despite just being “dude with spiky orange hair in a black robe with a giant kitchen knife.” Like, it’s so simple, yet effective!
Grimmjow got that black Air Force energy with his drip.
But the dad hair cut for ichigo in the end💀
Amazing video that both gives Bleach the flowers it deserves and critques it when it needs be(while i dont subscribe to all the critques)
Peak deserves peak video essays 😤😤😤
Bleach has amazing art. Fullbring and Thousand Year Blood War art is so good
Fullbring Bankai Ichigo is my personal favourite but I don't really like the true bankai form in TYBW ark! (just a personal preference)
That’s my favorite one too 🤝 and while I disagree with the true bankai form it’s all good I respect your opinion 👍
for me what I dont like about the true bankai is the blade itself....God that thing is so tacky looking
@@z-v-x8324 I thought I was the only one who didn't like the blade his black katana in Ban Kai looked way cooler than the true Ban Kai.
Don’t forget the drip
A main character without a 20 episode monologue 😍.
Yes he has dialogue with hollow and zanpakto but they are great.
Honestly if tite kubo retires and releases his own bleach fashion designs, i would not complain
Hell arc is insane so far
It hasn't even started yet.
@@daiblo.dshadow what do u mean I've read the first chapter on manga reader
@@goblin9658 yeah,it's literally just that
And it's a one shot
@@marcomilillo2001 damn even though it’s a one shot it’s pretty interesting
Kubo is a drip god!!
Well Kubo is most likely Aizen's Bankai. So such results are expected!
Bleach is the world where 95% of population is extremely attractive lol
Lets be real, bleach is peak drip.
The only thing i cant get behind is kubo’s obsession with the super long back mullet to show a character is really strong
Restu is confirmed neo N
Kubo is one of the few Mangaka who gets Black people right!! He makes each character articulate in appearance and he makes sure to update each character depending on his/her character and upgrades
My personal favorite manga aesthetic is Tokyo ghoul, it suits the story amazingly
I guess you could say artistic BOWER is immense
True! Thats why Rukia looks like yuha in ichiko's world when he is in bankai mode.😂
The best designed characters in all of anime
This is true. Every main character has like 3 or 4 looks throughout the series, new characters are almost always very unique in design (save like some weird versions of Aizen, [Askin and Genjo]). Heck, even one offs get unique designs. Kubo is for sure one of the greatest.
Ichigo : Drip MC
Bleach has the best transformations in anime too the hollow transformations ichigo black aizen transformation all cold🥶🥶🥶
I think its my favorite artstyle.
And I feel like hes one of the few Mangaka...who can draw busty women who are believable in their Anatomy. Or rather: My man understands gravity. 🤭
I understand why Blackclover got inspo from bleach
That is so true. I love stinks so bleach but it’s absolutely amazing especially bleach Bloodivores.
kishimoto can't ever hold a candle to kubo's art
It's peak.
i mean every character has drip in bleach
Especially Aizens designs its soo peak
Bleach and One Piece are honestly peak character design in fiction period, always bursting with personality on a single glance (in two very different ways), in hundreds of years art students will be studying Kubo and Oda's work
It's the only manga with this insane aspects:
1. Cool fashion design, no character cloth looks the same and all clothes are cool
2. Amazing body carachter design and supreme face expressivity
3. Every character has its own dedicated personalities
4. There's hundreds of characters and all looks different and nice!
I've never ever seen a manga with this variety and quality before.
Its a shonen yeah, but it's also a seinen for its curated and realistic design. ❤️
Black characters in Bleach is Really Masterpiece 😩
They do have drip
My personal favourite used to be the espadas until he released the old gotei13 😳
Bleach is the only anime I have ever seen that the only reason a character looks like someone else is because they are a relative. People thought in the early stages that Ichigo looked like Kaien Shiba was a coincidence but it turned out he is Ichigo's Uncle
Honey wake up bl ach fashion week has started
I also love to draw, I also draw anime.... And except for my own art style, the other art style that I use is from Bleach, soul eater and junji ito art styles. So yeah bleach is one of the biggest influence in my anime art style 😆 🤍
Im reminded of what a friend said about the Big 3: Of the Big 3, Naruto has the best fights, One Piece is the best written, and Bleach has the best artwork.
Bleach is the series where they had that shit on
