I’m re-reading the tybw arc and I’m already dreading the part where ywach breaks Ichigo’s Bankai. It’s so brutal that we never saw his actual bankai, or Isshin’s bankai!
My personal theory is that Isshin was meant to join the fight against Gerard and use his bankai there. We know Kubo rushed the ending due to his declining health, and both Gerard's death and Isshin's appearance happened extremely late in the arc (chapters 680 and 682, respectively). The same thing applies to Ryuken, who could totally have helped fight Lille in the Soul Society (which was never even resolved in the manga). Two unresolved fights, two characters who show up at the last minute to save the day, the manga needing to cut things for Kubo to finish... it makes too much sense to me IMO
@@ClydeUA-camr Frustrating? No, it was Fucking Madding! Like Kubo hype up the fact that Ichigo is every race put together, he gave him two new shikai's and a new Bankai, and what does he do with it, mostly nothing. We have more information on fucking side characters abilities, but not the MC!?! Finger crossed that the anime does something more for ichigo.
I remember really enjoying that twist but only because I thought we would see the Bankai later on. In retrospect, it's frustrating that we never see it and that Ywach is so ridiculously powerful. Let's hope the anime makes that last section of the story more satisfying
@@meh.5645 yes man! I also wish we could learn how Isshin knew Mugetsu? Not as big of a deal but it’s another cool thing I wish Kubo had time to dive into!
Kubo should've put a weakness or limit on juhas future altering, e.g he can actually only see and alter a million possible futures, or he can only forsee 50 years into the future at a point 😎
@@rangariraikunedzimwe2780 The antithesis is apparently divine or something. Also, you said he should’ve put a limit on Yhwach ability. If you had said a limit that was useful for the final fight I wouldn’t have even commented. But you didn’t, so I corrected you. That is my one and only purpose in life, to correct people.
I have a theory that this is Aizen’s “bankai” (it’s his fused state but why would it fuse in shikai rather than bankai?) and his bankai is just automatic illusion creation, which is kind of weaker than his shikai because he can’t really play off of it too well if he doesn’t know what his opponent is seeing. The reason I say this is because of Aizen’s line towards Yhwach saying something like “oh so you were seeing Ichigo how fascinating”. So if he was controlling the illusion of course he would know Yhwach was seeing Ichigo
It wouldn’t matter cause yhwach would’ve seen it in the future and prolly cancel it out after being defeat from it more than likely. Hes beyond transcend
I remember in earlier chapters Ichigo wished for a blade to shatter fate itself and I always believed that was hinting at his true power. I hope the anime shows us tensa being able to "break" any power no matter how strong
@@ClydeUA-camr it was also in the 2020 quincy quote and its also the monologue at the beginning of the series it goes like fate is like a millstone and we are the grist fate will come for us sooner or later and when it comes i wish to the gods for a strong blade and enough strength to shatter fate itself.
I really feel like Kubo wrote himself in a corner. The silver arrow was added just to shut him down. Yuha Bach is one of the most powerful anime villains ever created. He superseeded even Aizen. I feel like Aizen's plans were to shut Bach down permanently by fusion with the Hogyoku to become the Soul King.
The silver arrow makes sense if the fight beforehand is build up. It seems to fight would last longer, but Kubo has to cut it just like the zero squad fight
@@Froggyquacknot really. The plot arrow can never be well written. The only justifiable reason it could exist in any capacity is to save kubo from the corner he wrote himself into. It could only ever exist cus kubo failed to 1. Give ywach proper thought and 2. Properly developing his protagonists powers. For tybws anime ending to not be the same joke it was in the manga, these 2 issues need to be fixed and the plot arrow needs to be removed. It's such a lazy, cheap & contrived plot device that just existing in the story is enough to compromise the integrity of the storytelling.
There's something about how proactive and eager to throw hands that makes Yhwach different from the conniving Aizen and that appeals to me greatly. I loved that, once he saw Ichigo return from the Royal Palace, he was immediately like: "Now you've left the barriers open! SEE YA SUCKER!" I also like how the Almighty had, at least, a few physical and metaphysical weaknesses: Yhwach has to "see" the future he wishes to be unaffected by and change, hence all the pupils. But Kyoka Suigetsu changes how the futures he sees look like, therefore making his counters useless, and Antithesis can cancel out Uryu's own presence in said futures, hence how he was able to shoot the Deus Ex Machina Arrow at Yhwach, undetected.
But that's not uryu schrift tho. He can change what's happened between two targets. Ywach didnt see that arrow coming because of his own hubris. Theres a panel where he says he has to actively peer into the possible future it's not passive if not gg everyone. Most impressive thing uryu did was not get targeted bu Aushwalen. As broken as Antithesis is he still got bodied by Jugram. Also ichigo was getting super aggro an ywach even says he couldnt slouch against him and proceed to destroy his bankai.
@@christophernazario2375 Well, I do agree that Yhwach was feeling himself after returning from death, but getting blind sided blasted by a Getsuga Tensho and managing to still activate his Schrift means he wasn't *totally* off guard. C'mon, he blind sided freaking Aizen. Secondly, Antithesis reverses any event that takes place between two people. Covered by the Soul King's power, Yhwach was covered in eyes, the Almighty running on overclock. He was always seeing Uryu attacking him. But Uryu, who knew how the Almighty worked, went like: "Yhwach can see me shooting the arrow with the Almighty. I use Antithesis to make it so that he *can't* see me with the Almighty". That or reverse his existence's perception in Yhwach's eyes altogether, basically becoming a new Vanishing Point.
The first thing that came to mind when Yhwach came out in a final form covered with eyes is Aizen, that's like a perfect opportunity for Aizen to flex his complete hypnosis. He could have showed him false realities! Or false outcomes to all of his predictions, so much wasted potential with tsukishima too. Tsukishima and Aizen were like the perfect mindfuck team!
I think Aizen's abilities far exceed that of Tsukishima's. Like how altering senses from Shinji's zampakuto was child's play to Aizen, I think Tsukishima's abilities would be child's play as well. Especially since Byakuya saw right through it in light of his loyalty to Ichigo, and Yhwach would have no issue taking Tskuishma out no matter what memories he had of him. I mean... he wiped out his loyal sternritter for power. If anything, Tsukishima would just get in Aizen's way like a thorn stuck in your heel. EDIT: I'd also like to point out that Aizen instructs his subordinates to not trust anyone, not even him. But he asks for loyalty. Meaning that if Aizen is incapable of trusting others and believes it to be a weakness, any memories that Tsukishima could inject would mean nothing to Aizen. He would have no issues taking him out, regardless of their "past" together. Aizen loves no one.
@@justifano7046 thing is, aizen doesn’t need to think of all the infinite possibilities. he just needs to contaminate the timeline once, and it wil spread.
Tsukishima's power is interesting, he can't time travel like stepping on a butterfly and changing everything 👀 the original events aren't erased from memory, or existence. He just changes the things he stabs by inserting his own presence into the past of the thing that he stabbed. He can also probably cut anything.
@@epicjayjaysw8708 yeah and how he helped prove and confirm to ichigo that, the guincy side of him stated zangetsu was white this whole entire time too.
The thing about Kyoka Suigetsu its that in the novels it is stated it works with reiatsu (Tokinada) and since Aizen always had an immense amount it didnt really mattered, but i think thats the reason why Yhwach gives that 2 options: "Lack of power or overconfidence". It means that it could be that he couldnt keep up with the Soul King level of reiatsu, and in fact it makes a lot more sense than the deactivation thing.
This is WAY better than the original ending we got, but I can think of one way I would improve it. The issue with this ending is that it is hard to have much tension if Aizen is just jerking the chain of the big bad any way he wants the whole fight. If I were to offer something that could improve it, have it be Yhwach repeatedly needing to assert that he is unaffected, clearing his vision for a moment to allow himself to fight back against this hypothetical shinigami gank squad. Imagine this happening like that, and this turning into a game of cat and mouse with everyone actually having to fight to protect Aizen from someone who is on a high enough power level to crush even him, while Aizen is fucking up his perception and creating openings, avoiding direct engagement, because he knows that just one slip will topple the entire house of cards. This would also let us have a moment where Aizen and Urahara are actually forced to work together. Yeah it still has the issue of figuring out how the shinigami are even damaging Yhwach, but it would be exciting this way.
I hope that the anime does implement more characters for the final battle. I felt it was a missed opportunity, and I know time was not on our side before, but now it is.

@@vegboylokesh7778 Ichibei after he loses somehow implies that he didn't stand a chance against Yhwach especially when he started using Almighty. He was just being cocky probably because that was the only chance he got. He's not beating Yhwach either way, since Ichimonji doesn't beat Almighty.
@@vn9574 when did he imply that? And with Almighty nothing is beating him genius that's obvious. The power literally is "you can't harm me with a power I know and i know everything coz I see al future". How tf can anyone defeat that. But ichibei could if he didn't leave him alive as " King of the bugs" And instead killed him properly or just used full power from very beginning and didn't be cocky to think he can beat him with just shikai
I think an interesting Bankai for Aizen (as a transcendent being) is to fool one’s Soul into not recognizing it. The same way his shikai can make you see things that aren’t there, being a perfect illusion, his Bankai can make one’s reitsu become unrecognizable to the user, and becomes aligned with another who is under Kyokas control. Imagine, Aizen uses his Bankai, and all of Bachs powers become aligned with Ichigo, allowing (only for a second, due to bachs power) ichigo to reclaim his powers stolen from him, to massacre Bach. Aizen can state that his Bankai can only be used once10 years, but his power has grown to reduce that time to a year. It’s silly, but following the trend of what his Shikai does, I think a step up from that is this…fooling everyone’s actual soul power to think something else is it’s owner…imagine the chaos.
Then that means he actually used bankai in order to fool Yhwach into thinking he was Ichigo and Renji at that moment by all measures. That also explains why Yhwach yelled that his KS is already broken, considering he used the Allmighty to destroy all bankais, including Tensa Zangetsu.
I have an interesting idea. What if during the battle you described Yhwach uses Yamamotos BANKAI to summon the trillions of skeletons and all the characters have to go against them. That would be heat!
I noticed something interesting in chapter 684 of Bleach, so apparently Yhwach made himself blind but this was after he got back up after being killed by Ichigo and after being tricked by Aizen’s Hypnosis. So he basically can make himself blind to counter Kyoka Suigetsu and still use the Almighty. That confirms that the Almighty can be used via brain as well. So if Kyoka Suigetsu was to be used again on him he would be immune to it. This isn’t a stretch that those are the eyes of a blind individual cause the same was shown with Kisuke when he got his eyes destroyed by a gift ring by Askin and got them reconstructed. If you simply go back to chapter 684 Yhwach’s eyes are pure white with no pupils
@@friedchickenlover5 yeah but during the fight yhwach didn’t use his almighty so didn’t know about azien shiki but if he had the almighty he would beaten azien
I always liked the idea of Ichigo being able to change the future but wish they gave it more definitive weight outside of a single statement by Yhwach. If I were to "fix" the final fight, I would use that and showcase Ichigo changing the future within the story, including recontextualizing certain fights. Ichigo going from fighting 3rd seats to fighting Kenpachi and winning could be contextualized as Ichigo changing his own future and could be used in points in the story people complain are filled with plot armor. When Ichigo loses his will at certain points in fights and the narrative, Zangetsu either wouldn't work to aid him or he might've made it worse for himself by setting a bad future. The way I would do the fight would be Ichigo slowly discovering the true nature of Zangetsu, the ability to change the future, like Yhwach. The key to the fight is Ichigo needing time to mature his ability and the other characters of the series working to give him the time and create an opening for Ichigo to change the future and win. The narrative of the fight would have a message of Ichigo being surrounded by those loyal to him while Yhwach threw away all his comrades. Even have Jugram, defeated but alive, messing with Yhwach in some way as he did in canon, maybe playing tug of war with the Almighty ability at the right moment to let Ichigo finish him off.
I do not like the idea of ichigo or anyone else having the ability to "change the future". Yhwach is already too much but I appreciate the explanation of his abilities, to a point. I wish it weren't so much "jumping" from one reality to another (overwriting the prior one) and rather something like walking the path that leads to the preferred outcome. I think that change would make it much more... reasonable? No take backs in a sense.
You know, the idea that Ichigo’s ultimate true ability is a reflection and opposite to Yhwach’s is really really interesting. Something like Yhwach; “i can choose my future” while Ichigo; “Well i can choose *ours* ” ‘ours’ implying his comrades
@@Closer2Zero I feel you but I don't like it and I think it's lazy narratively and in general. Nothing about about the story seems to suggest this other than "ope he can do this now". Yhwach himself is... lazy? Or just too much. There's also nothing narratively that suggests Ichigo is the "Antithesis" of Yhwach. Perhaps another character could have been developed to embody this properly...
Is it confirmed that Yhwach can use every single Schrift? My understanding the Schrift came from an aspect of that particular Sternritter’s soul, so it was unique to them, even if it was from his power
@@ClydeUA-camr I don't think he can actually I believe once they ingest his blood he unlocks or amplifies what's already there. I think it's why Baz could still use his powers, but couldn't use his Holy form because that's what Ywach actually gives them.
Although I agree with you guys about he not having the schrifts beforehand, in my opinion he does get the ability to use them after a Stern Ritter gets Auschwalen'd.
I believe that Aizen’s bankai is the ability to enter people’s minds and create illusions that can hurt them. Like a mixture of Dorothy dream magic in Black Clover and Itachi’s Tsukuyomi from Naruto. Only reason why he never used it is - He can only use it on one opponent at a time - His body is left vulnerable while he’s inside someone’s mind.
So basically aizen is the chess board ywach is the king on the opposing side and every else are the top tier chess pieces that are about to jump said king...beautiful
My concern is that how much is the difference between the spiritual pressures of Yhwach and Aisen! I believe it should be a lot and in that case, can be not cancel the effects of KyokaSuigetsu like Aizen did with Soifon! I just don't see Yhwach loosing tbh unless obviously Ichigo or Aizen's Bankai is BROKEN AF
Aizen uses KS, Ywach attacks "Ichigo" damages him to near death.. turns out it was Uryu, Uryu:Antithesis! damage transfered to Ywach greatly weakining him(better device than plot arrow).. thats the moment shinigami alliance were waiting and baam
I think most likely the way schrifts work is that it depends on who gets one. He doesn't get those specific abilities. It'd be like giving someone a zanpakuto. If you take the sword back you still can't use their shikai or bankai
He’s already broken enough that will make him even more broken but yhwach didn’t even need his other abilities the almighty was already enough for him to solo the verse
also, Haschwalt is wayyy more powerful than Gerald... There is a reason why he was named as yhawch's second in command, actually there are several reasons. The Balance is one of the only 3 abilities in bleach that can actually alter outcomes. The other two being the Almighty and the Antithesis. The story used subleties to point out that these 3 worked as counters to each other and that created balance. I will explain in detail with scans from the manga if you reply

Be the Soul King in his Prime lol. Also, you forgot to mention that the Almighty, along with it's future sight, has the ability to know all power that it sees, and all powers that it knows takes it side being made useless in his presence and it makes Yhwach incapable of being harmed by said power.
Anti thesis counters it. From what we understand. The Anti thesis steals the power and abilities of anything within the designated time that has been set. Meaning Uryu would steal ALL of the amps that Ywhach had along with everyone else fighting Ywhach
@@ClydeUA-camr so what you said about Aizen Bankai, that means that even by being fused with his sword? (which he pretty much was in a Mugetsu pevel of fusion or at least a Dangai Ichigo level of Fusion) So that means that Dangai Ichigo could theoretically pull out a Bankai while being in that form? I am a bit confused, hope you can help me out with it 😅
Now hear me out Ichibei as well helps in the final fight. Isshin, after using his bankai but failing, tries the final getsuga tensho (with the chance to get a flashback of this ability origins) Let Orihime fight and I mean literally trying to do damage, since her powers can change the events
Video title: how to beat yhwach half the video: explaining all his broken abilites and reasons why u cant beat him. But seriously this video really puts into perspective how powerful he really is, like Kubo really went all out with this guy💀
Just recently finished my read of the Bleach manga This video did well making it click the things that were wrong with the TYBW Arc, since it first I did not really get or understand it Thanks Clyde awesome video as always
Wasn’t Gremmy’s ability a part of him before Yhwach gave him his shrift? That’s the case for Gerard and Perninda, so it would stand to reason that Gremmy would be the same, seeing how he’s (allegedly) the brain of the soul king. Not that it really matters, Yhwach is still absolutely broken anyway.
TBH, I liked that Yhwach was defeated with Shikai. It was established from the beginning of this arc that the Quincy King wouldn't be defeated by a power amped "BAN... KAI!", but rather some clever trickery or technicality that Bleach fights are known for.
It was really weird that so many things were set up to likely be important or even counters to the Almighty, that never got used. I have no idea why Kubo made the arrow when the Antithesis does a similar thing, and it was already set up, for example. Really, Aizen hypnosis, Uryu’s Antithesis and Ichigo’s Bankai (whatever it was) would have been plenty to accomplish the job. Just think of it, Juha tries to use the Almighty to take Ichigo’s powers again but Aizen tricks him into targeting Uryu instead. Then Uryu uses the Antithesis to have it Juha powers instead be taken for a moment, then Ichigo uses Muigetsu or something to sever fate/future or something and done.
Only benefit we could see with the h3ll arc is the spirits coming back and seeing them that way. Really hope the anime can fix a lot of the issues Kubo was rushed with as so many big anime get rushed and the ending becomes bitter and make rereads pointless Bach was just made too powerful and even then he didn't use everything he had like how afo became in MHA for a newer manga parrelel of making someone too strong.
@@ClydeUA-camr forgot to mention but that small window aizen gets with Bach could have been better used as well. Let Bach think he did his move only to flip it on him. That or just let aizen go full out as it would have been a great battle if given the time
0:53 Gremmy is implied to be the brain of the Soul King. In CFYOW Ikkomikidomoe starts trying to consume soul King pieces. He went straight for Hikone’s head which housed the brain that was Gremmy as the core of his being. YHWACH doesn’t absorb schrifts. They are unique to the souls he bestows his power to he. Kubo clarified this in his Klub outside forum. The Auswahlen doesn’t literally absorb souls like a hollow. He absorbs power with him retaking his shared soul pieces and additional power robbing the lives of his victims if he chooses to do so. YHWACH is not prime soul king level. There are other pieces of the Soul King out there.
Great video first off. I wanted to say the reason why I don’t think that Kubo should’ve reveled Aizens bankai is because I think we can all guess Aizen probably will come back and be a villain one last time and that and only then would be the perfect time for Aizen to reveal what his bankai actually is
10:50 - Not only do I think that Aizen doesn't need a Bankai, but that he also doesn't really have the self reflection to obtain it in the first place. After all, Aizen is super suspicious of everyone around him even suspecting his (dis)loyal right hand man Gin despite having little to no evidence. It would make sense that some of that suspicion is directed towards his own Zanpaktou (a creation of the Zero squad) and that in turn his Zanpaktou would be equally suspicious of him given that it's a reflection of his soul. Not to mention, Aizen pretty much abandoned his Zanpaktou in favor of the Hogyoku and as stated in this video merged with it in order to obtain its powers. It kind of reminds me of the Zanpaktou filler arc where the key antagonist (Kouga) abandons his Zanpaktou because he arrogantly believes in his own power above all else and was incapable of forming lasting bonds with anyone let alone a fragment of his soul. It would also be properly ironic for Aizen not to have a bankai since it would mean that person he deceived the most was none other than himself for thinking he didn't need it.
I hear this argument over and over again and it’s getting dull. Just a Thought tho💭 Aizen was higher than captain level when he was just a vice captain. He’s lived a very long life as a shinigami. So don’t u think he’d attained bankai before even beginning his plot 100 years ago or even before knowing shit about the soul king or the hogyoku or even harboring any suspicions towards any of the shinigami? I mean it’s even more plausible that he has a bankai from way way waaay back in time.
One of the problems with Bleach is that Kubo kept writing amazing villains with no reasonable way to kill them. If you're going to write an amazingly powerful villain, you have to know their weakness from the outset. Ichigo defeating Aizen required the absurd idea that Aizen never show Ichigo his release. That singular decision foiled his 150 year plan
@@PowerfulSkeleton they absolutely are, Aizen wanted to question the existence & system of soul king, also Ichigo directly states that Aizen wanted to have someone standby him at same levels that he'd reach, not feel lonely. Aizen was always curious about ichigo right before he was even born, just killing ichigo wouldn't exactly please him I imagine, he'd want to watch how ichigo progresses. Aizen has always had opportunities to show Ichigo his "moment of release of shikai", as he'd fought him previously, he definitely chose to exclude Ichigo from effects of KS
@@D-Havoc That's a fan theory and explanation, it's not something explained the the cannon or stated by the author. I do agree though that that theory is the only reasonable explanation as to why Aizen never tried using his hypnosis on Ichigo

I've always thought aizen's bankai would work as a juiced up version of his bankai where he's not only fooling his opponents 5 senses into thinking anything dude wants is real but making those objects a reality and in sorts summing anything he wants to fight for him, he already stated he can make a butterfly appear to be a dragon but what if he can summon something like that into reality
@@GrandisArcanumi think he meant his bankai is a juiced up version of the shikai. Idk which one is an upgrade of the other since ive stopped reading bleach
For the miracle, I always thought a lido seal would’ve been a better defeat. One where his power is cycled into himself constantly, causing him to overload and basically have a heart attack ( being that he is the heart of the soul king), blowing up and retuning the power back to Bach.
He doesn’t have one. He needs to drink from Yhwach’s cup and do the ritual to get one. You aren’t born with a schrift. The most he could do is summon a bow.
10:15 He never said the ability of Ichigo's Bankai was so broken that it could defeat him, he said the *power* of Tensa Zangetsu is so strong that it could defeat him at the state he was in.
Nah, if it was just raw power it wouldn't be a problem since we see Ichigo straight up kill him and he just change reality to come back, for him to have such a reaction to Ichigo's Bankai it had to be something related to it's ability
@@takeo_624 Okay, let go with it's an ability, what is Zangetsu's ability? It's the ability to absorb and amplify Ichigo's own Reiatsu(Spiritual pressure) and release it. It doesn't have to be in the form of a Getsuga Tenshou, that's Zangetsu's abiltity along with allowing him to use his Quincy and Shinigami powers in harmony. So what would be Tensa Zangetsu's ability? And have in mind, it must be an evolution of Zangetsu's abilities, all of the real Zanpakutou's do this, the Bankai is the natural ability of the original Shikai increased. It would be to amplify Ichigo's Reiatsu even more and more easy access to all of his other abilities. Would this not be OP having in mind that in Bleach Reiatsu can make it so that people can't hurt you?
@@ultimateshadeofwar yeah it would be an op ability against anyone other than the guy that can change the timeline after being killed. Yhwach had such a massive reiatsu that he was about to destroy all of reality just by existing, Ichigo would at most be able to match his reiatsu and even then the Almighty would still make him come out on top. Tensa Zangetsu's ability HAS to be something that counters the Almighty otherwise it just doesn't work. Zangetsu's ability is never revealed (I just rewatched the whole anime, it's really not but if Kubo said it somewhere else feel free to correct me), the only thing we get is Byakuya saying that Ichigo traded size and power for speed when he first used it but that's not an ability, just the Old Man concentrating his reiatsu in one single aspect of power. The og Zangetsu wasn't a real Zanpakuto and it was suppressed by the Old Man as much as Ichigo was so it would never manifest it's true ability. Why the true ability didn't manifest in the True Shikai? I suspect Kubo wanted to reveal it together with the Bankai (it's not that big of a leap in logic) but also because Ichigo didn't know how to use it, he gets the True Shikai and immediately rush to the battle, there was no time to get used to his new powers, maybe he even knew he had a new skill but didn't want to risk using it wrong and when he finally decides to use it in battle is to finish Yhwach off only to have his Bankai shattered and his powers stolen. The idea of Tensa Zangetsu having the power to change fate fits really well with Ichigo's themes as a character and could be said to be a combination of both his Shinigami, Hollow and Quincy lineage, which justifies it being such a reality bending power and making it so even if I'm forgetting something and Zangetsu's ability is indeed amplification it would be only from his Shinigami and Hollow side, meanwhile his Quincy side has something else that when combined into Bankai becomes this fate manipulation or, as Ichigo himself says, a blade able to shatter even fate
If I'm not misremembering, pretty sure Yhwach never actually gave Gerard his powers, much like Pernida, and they both had theirs prior to Yhwach as they are both different organs/parts of the Soul King.
I’d be inclined to agree. Ironically I think aizen’s redemption arc should’ve been part of this. As aizen as a returning villain isn’t exactly something I wanna see he’s too broken. Aizen should’ve been the key not just to defeating him but to maintaining the balance as the next soul king
3:30 think about it…how many times did Ywach lose to be like I’m just going to pull myself from a future where I did win 🤔 he was struggling from the beginning to bring about a future where he was victorious.
I feel like we are misusing the term "transcendent". Yama wasnt transcendent. He was just one of the peak pinnacle Shinigami. To be transcendent you need to be more than just one species of being.
Its also possible that aizens counter changed not to just his body but inside his body just like his blade is. This could also explain how yhwach did it because he litterally had his arm through his chest but would still be a buff to aizen as id say getting your arms inside him is harder than just touching the blade.
@@ClydeUA-camr i dont think its confirmed either way. Yhwach said its undone but yhwach doesnt know how the abillity works so it could be via that method. Its very vague so it easily could go the way you explained it im just proposing an idea on how the other explanation could work without being a nerf to aizen
Like ichigo's and uryu's fathers showed up at the last second and did pretty much nothing. It would have been cool if they at least tried to attack yhwach because he's the reason why their wives both died. "you have taken everything away from me yhwach, and now ill take everything away from you"
Best way to Describe Ywach power is that, he can see the future and affectively Give the peace sign and disappear from that timeline when things don't look favorable in his way! In a parody sense. He basically Nile's vanish out of that timeline and goes into another that suits him. Ywach: Oh wait? I can actually lose? Naaaah~. Let me pull a *Throws a peace sign out on Ichigo and effectively outs of the situation.*
Hopefully at least some of this can come into play when the anime comes back. It would definitely be the cherry on top to the return of the anime for it to be a better version of the rushed TYBW arc.
Tate Kubo right now in his office correcting his rushed work on Bleach's manga: "Write that down!! Write that down!! Write that down!! Write that down!! "
That's a great idea but sadly yhwach can still win because he can imagine himself in a different place far away from them and outside the effect of kyokasuigetsu and then imagine all of them dead without even having to fight them lol
i think a lot of people just hyper focus on the logical side of the final battle and just miss the sort of thematic and narrative side like the irony of being defeated by your own power and your own kin

I’m re-reading the tybw arc and I’m already dreading the part where ywach breaks Ichigo’s Bankai. It’s so brutal that we never saw his actual bankai, or Isshin’s bankai!
Yeah, it's super frustrating.
@@JonasRosado it should weaken him enough to let the others kill him
I have a theory that this is Aizen’s “bankai” (it’s his fused state but why would it fuse in shikai rather than bankai?) and his bankai is just automatic illusion creation, which is kind of weaker than his shikai because he can’t really play off of it too well if he doesn’t know what his opponent is seeing.

@@o0ugi860I think the thematic importance and significance of the arrow justifies its inclusion
@@shelltear7277It doesn't. For one, there was no build-up to it to make it important. It was just haphazardly introduced.
There's something about how proactive and eager to throw hands that makes Yhwach different from the conniving Aizen and that appeals to me greatly. I loved that, once he saw Ichigo return from the Royal Palace, he was immediately like: "Now you've left the barriers open! SEE YA SUCKER!"
I also like how the Almighty had, at least, a few physical and metaphysical weaknesses: Yhwach has to "see" the future he wishes to be unaffected by and change, hence all the pupils. But Kyoka Suigetsu changes how the futures he sees look like, therefore making his counters useless, and Antithesis can cancel out Uryu's own presence in said futures, hence how he was able to shoot the Deus Ex Machina Arrow at Yhwach, undetected.
Interesting
That's the power of the Monado
@@imperiumVII op
Interesting
I thought that's what he did?
Figured aizen couldn't produce an infinite number of illusions as Ywach could see all futures.

Interesting
That's actually amazing
Then that means he actually used bankai in order to fool Yhwach into thinking he was Ichigo and Renji at that moment by all measures. That also explains why Yhwach yelled that his KS is already broken, considering he used the Allmighty to destroy all bankais, including Tensa Zangetsu.

We'll have to wait and see when the bleach anime returns.
That's an amazing idea and I think it would work really well with the scenario in the video
Video title: how to beat yhwach
half the video: explaining all his broken abilites and reasons why u cant beat him.
But seriously this video really puts into perspective how powerful he really is, like Kubo really went all out with this guy💀
I have to explain or people won’t understand how hard it is haha
Just recently finished my read of the Bleach manga
This video did well making it click the things that were wrong with the TYBW Arc, since it first I did not really get or understand it
Thanks Clyde awesome video as always
Wasn’t Gremmy’s ability a part of him before Yhwach gave him his shrift? That’s the case for Gerard and Perninda, so it would stand to reason that Gremmy would be the same, seeing how he’s (allegedly) the brain of the soul king.
Not that it really matters, Yhwach is still absolutely broken anyway.
Yea true, but he could steal it from him anyway
yeah, when talking about that, Askin was comparing pernida and gerard to the other elite guards, not all the sternritter
Yeah… Gerald I think is the literal heart of the soul king while pernida and mimihagi are the right and left hands of the soul king
Each ability the quincy have is because of Yhwach. He gives and he takes. He can use all the abilities A-Z.
TBH, I liked that Yhwach was defeated with Shikai. It was established from the beginning of this arc that the Quincy King wouldn't be defeated by a power amped "BAN... KAI!", but rather some clever trickery or technicality that Bleach fights are known for.
Okay, this is epic.
lmao long time no see
@@ClydeUA-camr haha, yeah - it has been a while :’)
Ur right but the reason none of this happened has been said 10000 times, the ending was rushed
You basically written the best ending to Ywach.
Yhwach broke the Bankai because it was a threat. It's a moot complaint in that instance.
Only benefit we could see with the h3ll arc is the spirits coming back and seeing them that way.
Really hope the anime can fix a lot of the issues Kubo was rushed with as so many big anime get rushed and the ending becomes bitter and make rereads pointless
Bach was just made too powerful and even then he didn't use everything he had like how afo became in MHA for a newer manga parrelel of making someone too strong.
Interesting
Yawn
I hear this argument over and over again and it’s getting dull.
Just a Thought tho💭 Aizen was higher than captain level when he was just a vice captain. He’s lived a very long life as a shinigami. So don’t u think he’d attained bankai before even beginning his plot 100 years ago or even before knowing shit about the soul king or the hogyoku or even harboring any suspicions towards any of the shinigami? I mean it’s even more plausible that he has a bankai from way way waaay back in time.
I REALLY hope they do something like this in the anime. Aizen Bankai/Hax arrow or not, it would be an improvement.
Aizen chose not to use Kyoka Suigetsu against Ichigo because he needed Ichigo to further his own evolution.
@@D-Havoc Those two things are not connected to each other whatsoever.
Ok? It still woulve been smarter to put him under the effects of KS and then never show him any illusions until he started losing. That wouldve fulfilled his goals AND gave him a safety trigger in case shit got out of hand, which it did.@@harshivpatel6238
I've always thought aizen's bankai would work as a juiced up version of his bankai where he's not only fooling his opponents 5 senses into thinking anything dude wants is real but making those objects a reality and in sorts summing anything he wants to fight for him, he already stated he can make a butterfly appear to be a dragon but what if he can summon something like that into reality
his bankai is a juiced up version of bankai?
@@GrandisArcanumi think he meant his bankai is a juiced up version of the shikai. Idk which one is an upgrade of the other since ive stopped reading bleach
9:39 "Ties into Aizen" - that sounds neat.
For the miracle, I always thought a lido seal would’ve been a better defeat. One where his power is cycled into himself constantly, causing him to overload and basically have a heart attack ( being that he is the heart of the soul king), blowing up and retuning the power back to Bach.
They should have had Isshin turn up and surprise Toshiro, then use his bankai to slay The Miracle. (Kubo could make it super OP)
The problem is that they already did something like that with pernida. Doing the same thing twice isn't too exciting
Commenting so that this video gets more exposure. 👍
Best way: let the video run on 0.25x speed on a different browser. It bumps up the watch-time.
Thanks though, Steven.
Yhwach was op because of how fast he could grow his mustache in such a short period of time.
lol I cannot wait for the bleach anime return
Cant wait for the bleach anime to come back its gonna be hype
Me too, the bleach anime is gonna be wild when it returns
Or we could have Ichigo unlock his Schrift, which would probably be The Almighty again.
He doesn’t have one. He needs to drink from Yhwach’s cup and do the ritual to get one. You aren’t born with a schrift. The most he could do is summon a bow.
Not how that power works, you have to be given a schrift. You don't naturally develop one
So in a nutshell: to defeat yawach just gank him with op characters,
The solution to every problem : the power of friendship
Wonderful, I fully agree and truly hope that's how it will turn out in the anime!
Let’s hope the bleach anime return makes some major changes
@@ClydeUA-camr that would be incredible
If I'm not misremembering, pretty sure Yhwach never actually gave Gerard his powers, much like Pernida, and they both had theirs prior to Yhwach as they are both different organs/parts of the Soul King.
Keep em coming browskie
Thanks bro
I’d be inclined to agree. Ironically I think aizen’s redemption arc should’ve been part of this. As aizen as a returning villain isn’t exactly something I wanna see he’s too broken. Aizen should’ve been the key not just to defeating him but to maintaining the balance as the next soul king
3:30 think about it…how many times did Ywach lose to be like I’m just going to pull myself from a future where I did win 🤔 he was struggling from the beginning to bring about a future where he was victorious.
W clyde post
ERAAAAA
I feel like we are misusing the term "transcendent".
Yama wasnt transcendent. He was just one of the peak pinnacle Shinigami.
To be transcendent you need to be more than just one species of being.
Its also possible that aizens counter changed not to just his body but inside his body just like his blade is. This could also explain how yhwach did it because he litterally had his arm through his chest but would still be a buff to aizen as id say getting your arms inside him is harder than just touching the blade.
Yhwach did not cancel it, confirmed by the following panels I show in the BLEACH video above. He never canceled it, Aizen did.
@@ivanbackfromthecardshop8093 It is, I show the panels in the video, then debunk the stab theory. Don't be silly brother!
they missed the opprotunity for ichigo and his dad to do a father son getsuga tensho and for uryu and his dad to do a father son holy arrow attack
Naaaah~. Let me pull a *Throws a peace sign out on Ichigo and effectively outs of the situation.*
lmao true
@@ClydeUA-camr
Definitely hear a Song or two when he dips haha.
great video. My headcannon has always ben that Aizen just had a really situational Bankai that never came up
I’ve read somewhere that Gerard’s “miracle” was actually his own but ywach just renamed it
Hopefully at least some of this can come into play when the anime comes back. It would definitely be the cherry on top to the return of the anime for it to be a better version of the rushed TYBW arc.
agreed, can't wait for the new episodes of the bleach anime
@@ClydeUA-camr The change I’m hoping for the most is Byakuya to actual die and have that play out later in the story. The set up was too perfect.
As powerful as Yhwach is, he gets shitted on by the soul king
How?
Tate Kubo right now in his office correcting his rushed work on Bleach's manga:
"Write that down!! Write that down!! Write that down!! Write that down!! "
please do a bleach cosmology video 🙏
It’ll very likely be spoken about heavily in my next upload
The hype... is building.
I can't wait for the bleach anime new episode return
Aizen's perception altering abilities don't seem to affect Yhwach as much. During their meeting he only managed to slightly alter Yhwach's senses.
but it was enough to make a difference what Aizen lives for
Hopfully kubo does what your saying when the anime returns legendary work as allways keep it up
Thank you bro
Yeah I really hope he does do that. The bleach anime return needs improvements
That Tony Stark bit caught me SO off guard💀
hahahahahaha
Nice Yhwach breakdown from bleach
Thanks bro, so excited for the BLEACH anime return.
That's a great idea but sadly yhwach can still win because he can imagine himself in a different place far away from them and outside the effect of kyokasuigetsu and then imagine all of them dead without even having to fight them lol
yup that's how u do it great job once again!!!
Thank you brother
I swear. Anime Onlys are not ready for Yhwach
So true. The bleach anime return is gonna be fire
i think a lot of people just hyper focus on the logical side of the final battle and just miss the sort of thematic and narrative side like the irony of being defeated by your own power and your own kin
Nah, it’s too rushed and lame for it to be looked at in this light. You can’t build up such a mammoth villain, then have him go out like that. Too many missing elements.
