He knows it, dear girl. He always did.
I "discovered" Angelina about a year ago. I was down that "rabbit hole" right away. I always loved music and jazz. But, it was never a big part of my life. I was never a "fan" of any singer. As I got older, music became more like elevator music... Something to break the silence when I was alone... That all changed over night. I would listen to Angelina by the hour. Her music really filled out my life. I would drive my wife nuts with one new discovery after another. Every new song was an adventure. I would never know what surprise was in store... A couple of months later, I needed a heart valve replaced. AJ and her music was always there to lift me up. Everything went fine with the proceedure and I was bouncing back. But then, the next month my wife of 54 years was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 2 weeks later... At the time, I was surrounded by Kids and Grandkids. They were in shock. It was very hectic and I had to be there to support them. I had no time to grieve or reflect on what had happened... The next night I was finally alone at home. And, as usual, I got out my phone and found Angelina. I discovered an old Willie Nelson song I always liked. Somehow, I hadn't heard Angelina sing it before. "Always On My Mind"... I soon discovered she was singing this song for me and this special time in my life. For the first time I shed tears for my loss as I shared my sadness with Angelina... I never understood the power of music or what it could mean to my life. I believe Angelina always understood... right from the start. People speak of an old soul or reincarnation and things... I believe it's simply her understanding music and it's place in the souls of those she sings for. People question how a child can understand emotions she hasn't experienced.. She understands the music and the emotions and the stories locked within. And, she has the gift to tell those stories and release the magic they hold.... I'm only one person with one Angelina story. I'm saddened that she will never know all of those she has touched.... Just imagine she writes and sings "I'm sorry for what I am."
This tribute to her grandfather is the cure for my dry eyes. Better than drops. I love Angelina, especially here.
I was already emotional when she started singing after dedicating it to her late Grandfather, but when she sang "Grandpa, I'm so sorry I was so blind" it broke me.
She is so sensitive. Without that quality we would never of heard of her. Sensitivity is not a weakness, It is a super power. Just watch her...
This grabs my heart every time. Angelina you have such a caring soul. There are very few artists who would be brave enough to post a performance this raw and emotional. You are truly a gift to this world. Take care always!

@@ronaldrobles304 True. but someday, hopefully if they both end up with Jesus, Grandpa might be doing something like that. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man, what God has prepared for those who love him." But before we can love Him we need to find that He exists and who He is. That usually takes some seeking. "Seek with your whole heart and ye shall find" ( Jeremiah 29:13 and Deuteronomy 4:29.
I have watched this many times and it always makes me cry. Angelina you really have the most beautiful and emotional voice and you share that while singing. Stay lovely Angelina as you are a gift to us all

This display of affection goes a long way with grandparents, just as one meaningful greeting card can last for years in the hearts of grandparents. We only have one grandchild and we do all the corresponding bc we know our grandson is busy with school, busy with sports, and just busy with life... and that’s the way it should be. Grandparents understand this and expect this, after all they were young once too! Whenever we have a chance to see our grandson he always has a wide smile, just seeing his face tells us everything we need to know. She isn't just a generational talent but is an amazing human being who can be a role model and inspiration for her generation. Angelina, you made us cry at least in part because we aren't used to seeing you hurting, but it says something about you that you were willing to share this. We can all connect to those emotions; most of us have experienced something similar and crying is healthy. Just know that a lot of people have cried along with you.

But I have to admit that Allie Sherlock, Courtney Hadwin, Darcey Lynne, and so many others are great artist too, But for me my wife and I, Grace and Angelina are our favorites but we do listen to all their music.
