This is a great live performance with a great orchestra back up and better than some of the backups from her European tours. The sound rivals her studio recordings. Kudos. Paloma, thanks for mentioning that her clothes and the curtain artwork was her grandmother's work for I wondered about that. A fantastic live performance.

She very talented, BUT her voice can't do this song justice. I can hear it and if I don't get the bumps on my arm it's a no! Maybe it's her age or experience...I didn't even compare it to Whitney...I listened objectively and this is not a song for her. There are songs that she can tear up and this isn't one of em.

I disagree. The more I listen to her the more she sounds like Adelle. She's caught in the "copying other singers' style" trap. Her talent is second to none, but she needs to find her own voice.
Many people have not yet heard of Angelina, but that is about to change. Her new album will be releasing very soon! She has a voice and style unlike any artist out there. I can't wait to see where her career goes in the next couple years. Look out world, here she comes!
I still hope to be lucky enough to watch her perform at a smaller venue like this, when she takes off that won't be a possibility.

I usually enjoy and have no trouble identifying with and relating to most of the comments when it comes to Angelina. Because her singing is more from the soul and the heart and not from the superficial mind or egotistic intellect, she transcends the barriers of mental analysis and reaches directly to the hearts of most listeners. The mind and ego tend to make us feel separate and critical of others and we tend to judge each other from our own limited perceptions and mental awareness. But when music is soulfully shared from the depths of the heart and soul it manifests the true oneness of us all, beyond the limited boundaries of the mental and physical differences. This is how some of us experience most of Angelina's performances because of her ability to convey this dimension of reality and oneness. This was amazing. I've followed her since the beginning and with this performance, she has stepped up her game. She has gone to the next level. She has sung this before, it's on UA-cam, where she is much more Whitney. This rendition was her. Smooth. She is the best all-around vocalist in the world currently. Wow,,,,, absolutely wow. It truly brought tears to my eyes and I can't explain why. I think it was the angelic voice I was hearing. Whitney was a phenomenal voice and will always be remembered that way to most. This young lady has a very big career ahead of her. I'll be watching for sure.

Angelina performed Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"...and it was fabulous to hear hear sing a rock song. So...I do believe she loves rock music...so... wouldn't it be cool if she had some classic rock sounding tunes on her new album?

The most i see that Angelina is happy to sing and i hope and pray, that this will not ending in an musicmachine. Hope, she get a lot older than Whitney. I like Whitney too and saw her in a concert in Cologne, Germany and was shocked about her death. Musician are humans, no goods.

Wow, wow. wow! From my understanding, she just got back from her trip in the Middle East when she attended the event. She may have been suffering from a bit of jet lag and just being a bit tired for her performances here. Still, like a pro, she performed both songs very well and the audience was in to it. The only negative about these performances to me were that the band could have been better and the sound to her mic or to this video could have been balanced/cleaned a bit better. Comparing it to the smartphone video clips that was released here on UA-cam by someone at the event, the sound on that video was a bit better. I guess I'm just nitpicking very little things. Man, I wished I was there to hear her! This is going to be a big year for Angelina! 😀😀😀
Jet lagged? She has been at home in LA at least a month since her Middle East trip as far as I know. Wonder if the shortening of the performence was on purpose or if the orchestra .made the decision or if it was a lack of rehearsal? Some speculate about a cold. I have listened to the performence three times.i didn"t hear that. Besides she is not ten any longer. Her voice has matured. I heard some extraordinary runs she has not done before.
@@bockviken Her voice was fine to me. I heard from a couple of people that she just got back from a trip, perhaps they were wrong. Yes, now that she is older, it sounds even more richer and she has even more power. Not implying anything on her end, just the band that was there didn't really sound great...she did though!

Angelina certainly will do that and we never know exactly what she will do to a song until we actually hear it.
