- Shaughnessy is one of Vancouver’s oldest and most prestigious affluent neighbourhoods， and the average home price in this neighbourhood is also the highest in Vancouver. It is divided into First Shaughnessy, Second Shaughnessy, and Third Shaughnessy.
The video was mainly shot in First Shaughnessy， It is also the site of many historical homes. Of the neighbourhood's homes 51.5% were built before or during World War II.

It's the trees, they used to be status symbols. Go to other areas of Vancouver, like East-Vancouver, and all the trees have been chopped down by the Chinese as they believe that evil spirits live in them. I have lived there, it is very, very sad. You occasionally drive to neighbourhoods like this one, just to experience what is natural and beautiful - to a Western eye. Thanks for the walk! (And by the way, snow never lasts more than a few hours in Vancouver, do you hear the dripping? It will turn to slush in no time....and then there will be rain, rain and more rain....that's the winter in Vancouver. These are precious shots.)
